>the whole plot is just [character]'s hallucination!

>(Character) has serious plot progression and changes their character from being shit into something good
>But then it was all for nothing because they forget or don't care and go back to being a cunt

>type "film theory" into youtube
>first result is "Spiderman is DEAD"
you win OP

>elusive serial killer is revealed to be multiple people committing crimes under the same persona

And also

>(Character) is the shows best character but then gets roped into a shit romance subplot that lasts forever and completely trashes the character

>character is actually Jesus and here's why

>it was just a dream

Fuck every movie that does this

There was a time when this was the lowest point you could reach with storytelling. Why is it becoming acceptable to use the "it was just a dream" trope again now?

IT'S JUST THE ONE KILLER ACTUALLY

>horror movie
>everyone dies in the end

literally walked out of the cinema in disgust

>killer is closely related to the MC, a friend or relative

>it has an ambiguous ending after describing the worst and most heinous acts ever

>story takes place in autistic character's head

>horror movie
>surviving character(s) follow all the rules and defeat villain
>villain comes back somehow and kills survivor(s) for no reason other than to have a final scare

>director interview
>gets asked about the ending
>"it's for the viewers to decide"

>Main character connects with the kid with autism in ways the kid's parents never could

>last person alive is a young girl who ends up being a strong independent woman who don't need no man

>film ends with a scene where the villain is shown to still be alive and about to kill the last survivors

Feels like a lazy copout to me, like you have all these great ideas but don't have the slightiest idea of how to tie them together, so you just write the most stupid bullshit you can think of and then leave it to pretentious wanna-be critics to defend you.
And it always works.

>End of the movie is just a guy reading a script to someone and the other guy says "nobody would ever make this into a film." then looks into the camera

>Enter The Void.

>film leaves room for a sequel

>end of the movie is the protagonist driving away while music plays
>he is bleeding and it is ambiguous if he is alive or not

>ending shot is the MC looking sad/solemn while the camera pans out

>film theory ends
>BUT THATS JUST A THEORY

>college students on a roadtrip/vacation/camping

>there are plenty of other interpretations for the movie but the people who trash it always cling to it all being a dream or in the MC's head

>Antagonistic character comes back as a spirit guide for the main character and quips constantly

>A FILM THEORY

But that's pure kino.

>villain is mortal
>villain at the end gets overkilled, it seems impossible for him/her to survive that
>villain survives at the end and kills the survivors with a jumpscare to end the film

>character dying in someone's arms
>always, ALWAYS, manages to get out their last words and then die immediately after they stop talking

Fuck off

What kino does this? I can only think of ABC's of Death

>horror film
>last survivor is literally the character you hated the most

>Last survivors are a white woman and a black man

>tv series takes place in autistic character's head
>it has crossovers with a shit ton of other popular tv series which in turn had many crossovers themselves etc.

>Search film Theory in Youtube
>See 'Moana's SECRET identity REVEALED!'
>Skip near the end
>"Moana is actually..........MAUI'S DAUGHTER
Jesus Christ

>group of poisoned survivors
>the antidote is in the black mans cock

REAL HUMAN BEAN

Name at least three Colombian workout videos, two nuclear kabuki shows and four Indian street-shitting tutorials where his happens

>newest SAW movie
>jigsaw's latest devious concoction
>you must have sex with this black man, the key is lodged in the very tip of your anal cavity and he must turn it inside out so you can retrieve it

>it was all in the character's head, or was it?

why isn't cucksploitation a thing yet?
the potential market is pretty big

>Reddit spacing/grammar
Can you just leave already?

>falling for the reddit spacing meme

LOL

>Walking out at the end
That's what you're meant to do faggit.

You thought this ending was ambiguous? lmao

>they characters are really stuck in an eternal hell

>serial killer is secretly the protagonist

>characters are in purgatory

Those are the worst.

Next to "he was in a coma the entire time".

>horror movie sequel
>the main character from the first one dies in the first scene.

>character's loved one is dying
>somehow she still manages to say her last words and dies
>Character whispers "no" and it gradually gets louder
>Character shakes dead loved one's head and autistically screams at the sky

>fallout sequel is complete shit

>turn 360°

>walk out

>horror movie sequel
>the main character from the first one joins forces with the antagonist(s) from the first movie

There was a pretty cool prog metal concept album that was about a retarded kid who got picked on by his peers so he created a world where everyone was like him, but his creations grew to hate him for making them retarded

seriously, this shit right here

just tell me fucker, I'm not going to care about your shitty movie past this moment just tell me

>hehe he kill kid and he devil!!!!!

Yeah, we got that like 200 pages ago

media is designed to be ambiguous bullshit appealing to a wide audience.

More like embodiment of war/chaos, also he most likely rapes the kid

>movie has a jazz standard as its main theme/lietmotif

He said in disgust, learn to understand what you're reading you shittalking little cunt.

>extremely intense and violent scene
>soft piano music plays in the background

That episode of House MD?

>redditfrog

>scene of mass carnage and chaos
>the only audio is some super upbeat pop song

Cruising

Are these types of scenes overdone nowadays? What is the new interesting or unique way to do a violent or intense scene? Complete silence?

Yes but only if the intensity lasts for a second or two and the sound immediately cuts out when it starts.
