No love for Lego Batman?

Hold the fucking phone why is robin depicted this way?

Dick is now a fag.

Normies think Robin is a faggot

>"No, Bruce Wayne lives in Batman's attic"

Fuck, I laughed.

he gonna fuck batgirl here too?

No one knows.
My guess is that it's not any of the comics' Robins, it's a new one to serve as a general template for mocking Bruce's adopting behaviors.

Can anyone identify all the Batmobiles they put in there?

This is LITERALLY the most faithful version of Batman ever shown in theaters. How does that make you feel Sup Forums?

>Bruce is given the responsibility of taking care of Dick
>the kid takes an old Batsuit and runs around in his underwear
>Bruce encounters hot chick
>gives her tailor-made suit with utility belt

finally a good trailer with Batman in it

Can't wait, desu.

I hope it's Tim. I know it's not... but I wish it would be.

No lie, this shit looks fun as hell.

Dick a cute

>rocket flames are bricks

muh dick

>BLACK AND YELLOW
>BLACK AND YELLOW
TKJ adaptation literally just made him a kek thou.

Here's a clear look at his main Batmobile, along with some interesting characters.

>When Lego Batman is the best adaptation of Batman to the big screen

Wow, Bane is a big guy.

For you.

>"The Speedwagon"

Was this trailer

Different from this one?

Nice!

Male Carrie Kelly is weird.

>implying it hasn't always been impossible to compete with lego

If you're gonna make a Robin such a flamer, it should be Tim.

Literal catalogue of Robins to choose from and make fun of and you decide to... What make up another one?

I was hoping it was Carrie just for the sake of variety.

Oh and there's also this.

...

RAPE

INCOMING

So wimp Robin and black Batgirl. You made some interesting choices, movie.

why are these movie so bizarrely good

I'm pretty sure this will just be Dick (and yes they'll make a joke about his name) since that's the one everyone knows.

Good humor, good action, good characters, good story.

The Lego games aren't bad either. Lego Dimensions has a good story too.

it's also a better Transformers movie than Transformers

>Kabuki Twins

Didn't expect that in a million years.

Yeah, they're digging deep with the references.

Anyone else hoping that President Business makes a cameo?

Lord and Miller also knew that it could have just been a toy commercial and went off the wall on the concept to an insane degree and then pulled the twist at the end in the live action scenes. Which made it incredibly sweet and heartwarming with an actual positive message.

Will be interesting to see if they do something like that at the end of Lego Batman.

>Rosario Dawson as Batgirl
I see nothing wrong with this.

He's a big block.

He's a big fig

The great thing is that when nobody gives a shit about quality it means that you can do whatever the fuck you want and no one tries to stop you.

It's why you can get shit like Transformers, Lego, [female aimed equine toy line], and hell even Hot Wheels having occasionally fantastic storylines wedged in between the usual bullshit.

big fig you mean

Why is Gordon black now?

I'm looking forward to this

Why will the best Batman and Robin be from a lego movie?

And then sometimes you get something like THIS

Seeing as its Chris McKay, it'll probably be a joke

all of them

Not Robin, Reggae Man

No because most of them are made up lego figures.

Because this is 10 year old Robin Dick and not "Muh Husbandu can fuck all the hot chicks and beat up the bad guys" Dick.

Dick was never a dweeb anyway.

uhhhhhh

Are you meaning to imply that Batman is accurately protayed in the LEGO movies, or that they should be making an effort to do so?

Making Dick a dweeb is a good joke.

I'm implying this isn't Dick Grayson.

they'll probably have him hit puberty and turn hot anyway, easy joke really

But it is

Oh wow, I just noticed that the muzzle flashes and laser impacts are bright white versions of those three pronged bits they use for plants sometimes. That's cool.

>that one is culturally insensitive
I take it that the family from the first movie has a kid in college, and (s)he is home for the holidays.

Looks pretty fun. Thanks for sharing this OP

why is she black?

The panel at SDCC says yes
Helps that Dick is a child here

>"GASP!"
>"No, Bruce Wayne lives in Batman's attic"

these were fun, but then

>"the first lesson is: LIFE DOESNT GIVE YOU SEATBELTS!"

... it's too true.

I really like the scene with the all the JL running

Did anyone record the panel?

She's white, the shading just makes her look darker than she really is. Although if they make Catwoman black that'd be a neat homage.

Hehehe, I can still see it as that 12 year old boy playing at how he thinks Batman should be.

good shit

No, her actor, her Barbara minifig, and her dad all indicate her being black.

Not that I mind, but it's an interesting choice.

That's a nice Joker and Harley, actually.

I really wish that I had room for more legos in my house.

That's clearly white

Does it? Gordon's much lighter than any of the browns lego uses.
Pic related.

I think it's wrong that it's for an animated movie and I don't get to see Rosario Dawson poured into a spandex costume.

Lego had a tone of flesh in between the Caucasian-colored Nougat and Reddish Brown. The print on the Batgirl minifig and the skin in the trailer seem to match that.

If anything, she definitely isn't white. The Batgirl fig was displayed with the other minifigs they've revealed in the two car sets, and her flesh printing is darker than Batman's.

Batman's face is printed on a flesh colored head, Batgirl's is printed on purple.
And isn't that supposed to be Barbara in the middle there? Looks pretty light.

Ah right I forgot that Movieverse Batman isn't using the new cowl.

Lego is good at correctly printing flesh on purple though (pic related).

And in the screenshot there's flash photography happening so I don't know how much the lighting may be screwing with the perception of her skin.

This. They think that about Robin and Aquaman.

I like how they went with Robin Hood Oliver here.

And does this look like an accurate portrayal of Batman to you? Don't be a fucking autist user

>the Flash briefly flickering around while catching up to the others running
I'm looking forward to how they handle his powers. And slightly curious how the other Justice League guys will fit in.

Also, people are getting Holy Musical B@tman! vibes from this, right?

Has there ever been a more perfect Batman line on the big screen?

I found the entire little panel they did at SDCC; only eight mins long.

At 7:16, Chris McKay confirms a few villais that will be appearing in the film:
>Orca
>Doctor Phosphorus
>the Mime
>Kabuki Twins ( )
>Mutant Leader

>Belt is an actual piece
I love it. Where do I get that minifigure?

They've only revealed two sets so far. Batman with the new belt appears in 70609 Batmobile ( ), and the belt also comes with Batgirl, who is in 70610 Joker's Notorious Lowrider ( ). They're apparently gonna be released near the end of the year.

Wait sorry I got the set numbers wrong. The Batmobile is 70905 and the Lowrider is 70906.

Shit, this looks great

kid reggae man

I'm going to be incredibly disappointed if that Clayface isn't a set.

You and me both, user.

>Clayface is made out of bricks, instead of a minifig/bigfig
>comes with instructions on building him into different appearances
Not too sure how to make it work properly, but I'm sure the professional lego designers could come up with something.

I've never owned a bigfig, are they any good?
Anyone else thinking about buying the Disney World castle set?

>Dick ripping off his pants into the short shorts
Kek

I have these two and they're fun to have around. Their chunkiness feels nice in your hand, and the 1x2 brick-sized indents in their hands make for good posing options, despite the lack of leg movement.

If you get one in a playset-style set, expect sections of the structure to be easily smashable. Great fun if you enjoy actually playing around with your minifigs.

The set looks beautiful, but I unfortunately don't have the room to keep it on permanent display.

Batman forever by the top right

Why didn't they just do to robin's underwear what they did with Lego ww? It just looks weird

I think they're leaning into the awkwardness on purpose.

this was actually decently funny

>That Batman Beyond minifigure in the earlier trailer
I fucking need it.
