I once wrote a series of short fan films that was basically Books of Magic with Raven instead of Tim Hunter, running from the oncoming Trigon, with Zee as her guide. It was straight horror with superheroes, which is surprisingly hard to do since horror depends on a certain powerlessness from your protag, whereas capes the opposite.

They should be paired up more, or else I'll have to put myself tons in debt making that movie.
