But it isn't doing badly. It's just not doing as well as it could be because it's a 3rd reboot of the same franchise within a 15 year span. This movie did in fact reignite my love for Spider-Man and is the closest to being a legit Spider-Man movie we've ever had. And Yes, I do love the Raimi trilogy.

In the case of handling the reissue on the specific title of comic is they let the different artist having total control over the same material oppose to the corporation film making is the collective efforts that overseeing by the same studio.
