Does someone want to explain to me what I just watched?

A decent horror movie in a genre starving for an original idea.

Cuckold pornography. Want to let me know why you posted an unrelated image, though?

Puritans were creepy, the American frontier was rough and drove crazy people even crazier. Also, the devil is out there making life even HARDER because of pagans.
One family learns the hard way that God doesn't care and it's better to just to into the woods and run around naked.

>ywn have autism this bad

Feels good man

Pure shit

Did you like it OP?

shit

Family thought there was no witch. But in fact there is a witch. BAMBOOZLED

It's a horror movie set in a world in which the Devil really exists and preys upon sinners. The entire family are sinners, even the baby (he's unbaptised) and so the devil has power over them. I'll list the sins if necessary, note their wrongdoing are not serious by our standards.

A retelling of the Book of Job in a period accurate Puritan setting, focusing on an entire family as righteous rather than one man.

And this being horror, they do not resist as Job did. It's the unappreciated cynical element in horror

delicious kino

>it's better to just to into the woods and run around naked.

That's an important life lesson.

>kids talking to gaot all the time
>parent have no problem with this

wouldya?

Only if she had on gloves

Not when you already have a sister with a pair of perfectly good tits.

What were the younger children's sins?
I got pride, loss of faith, lust, and covetousness, but not sure about them.

They disobeyed their parents.

I did, it was a slow burn which I can appreciate. I liked the feeling of dread throughout

The twins are spoiled, and presumably willingly consorted with Black Philip.

Its a realist movie about people getting fucked twice, one by a real danger 2 by an imaginary one.
They cannot tell one from the other and by the end neither can you.

They aren't righteous you numpty, they sin constantly throughout the movie.

For starters, the parents believed they knew better than their neighbours how to worship - arrogance, loss of faith

Note it is made implicit she ground the baby up and smeared it on herself to restore her youth.

The supernatural elements are clearly real and not a delusion.

Pre-witch or post-witch?

I'll have both.

horror kino

Correct.

>ywn remove her shift

I hate my life

Sounds about right to me.

Goatkino

The last 2 minutes were the only ones worth watching

and the Caleb POV shots

How scary is this movie? Does it have a lot of jump scares?

None. It's not a "scary" movie at all. It's a movie about a VVitch.

It's more of a thriller. It's not the typical jump scare movie like most modern horrors, but instead provides a great sense of overwhelming dread.

Just 2 that I can remember. It's a great change from the norm we've all been watching recently.

Dubs speak the truth.

They are a dellusion because

1. at the time the witches were women who hid in the woods for dugging themselves using some oil made out of spoiled weat (guessing) the usage caused dementia over time. They were litterally the crackhoes of the woods.

The witch is real.

2.The family constant lie and paranoia puts them on a place that they start blaming themselves for what is happening while the witch actually fucks with them thus generating a self sustaining autismal state of witch doing shit, satan takes the blame, lies attract satan, kids don't obey parents, sister lies so kids obey, kids pass the lie to parents, parents believe and punish sister, kids lie to protect black philip, black philip fights to protect sister, sister gets blamed for being witch and goes insane for real once everyone is dead.

It's violins making things seem scary. Absolutely overrated.

I had to take 2 malteser breaks while watching this shit. Boring as fuck.

>1. at the time the witches were women who hid in the woods for dugging themselves using some oil made out of spoiled weat (guessing) the usage caused dementia over time. They were litterally the crackhoes of the woods.

This sounds like junk history bullshit, but regardless, within the movie the witch and the Devil are real, and I don't see how your reference to the supposed historical basis of witchcraft disproves that.

they float

Any good recent horror movies friendos?

>having adhd

sorry user

above average horror flick. IF the movie going public was more patient it might've had the succes it deserved

I wish i cared enough to google the name of the wheat that made witches become what they were so i can convince you how right i am but i can't, google it if you feel like it, otherwise you gonna have to take my poor englished words on it.

Ergot poisoning

>every time the director gets asked if he believes in witches or witchcraft he deflects the question

Did he sell his boy pucci to the devil to become a director?

thank you.

Does it only works on women?

No idea. I only heard about this theory last year too

Think about it, maybe that boy fucked the VVitch while she was clogged on ergot and some of it got into his cockhole thus causing an overdose.

I really felt bad for the dad when the mother crawled into the boy's grave and looked at him like she was begging him to bury her with the boy.

What the fuck, man?

>Some sources (such as The Botany of Desire) have claimed that the ointment is absorbed best through mucous membranes, and that it was possibly applied to a special dildo that was inserted in the vagina.[2]

>broom flying was essentially a reference to female masturbation

I wonder how many women were burned at the stake because they were caught with a wooden dildo up their snizz.

How to accept your death

could you outline the sins please?

Literally just finished this movie ten minutes ago. Still not sure what to think but I'm glad I watched

It's not about a historical fact it's about a contextual one you fucking idiot.

The story is a work of fiction. The devil truly acts on the family.
