What do you think of Black Mirror? It seems that they're realistically predicting how the future will be, they've already gotten Waldo right, Trump is exactly the same as Waldo.

DUDE SOCIAL MEDIA LAMAO

Nah, Waldo had a good simple design...Trump is hard to look at.
Its hilarious how anybody can look at him alonside Melania and not think that she is cucking the fuck at out him 24/7

That episode with the software that makes a cleverbot using a dead person's online speech is already a thing and is being used to help people cope with dead loved ones.

Charlie Brooker is a smug, preachy arsehole. He has real talent but he can't help himself sticking his oar and pushing a message. That's all well and good when he's doing editorial shit like Screenwipe and Newswipe but it gets a bit tiresome when it's injected into nearly everyfuckingthing he does.
The last decent thing he's done is Dead Set and that was a decade ago.

>someone does this for me
>mebot just irl shitposts fucking constantly
>everyone hates me for it

I cried the whole episode because I suffer from recent loss, it was so painful but watching it also felt nice in a way. I wish I could do that.

no it isn't. they're just saying it exists to inflate their stock prices m8

What if technology was magic

DUDE A POLITICIAN SAID STUFF THAT PEOPLE WANTED TO HEAR AND WON #NeverHappenedBefore #WW3

The Waldo episode/Trump parallel was a bit more than that.

Part of what made Waldo popular was his vulgarity and willingness to buck decorum. He insulted his opponents in juvenile ways, while otherwise making fairly good points, but also promised the world to the voters, which he couldn't realistically deliver. Trump did almost exactly the same.

Waldo incited people to violence when it came to political opponents. Waldo offered 20 quid to anyone willing to beat his opponents. Trump offered to pay the medical and legal fees of anyone who beat his.

Waldo also was able to shield himself from opponent's attacks that he lacked substance because of his entertainment value. it didn't matter that he wasn't really saying anything, because what he was saying was funny. People loved the entertainment, and conflated being entertaining with being good. Trump is exactly the same: a media superstar who was able to brush off accusations of vapidness and lack of depth by entertaining people enough that they forgot about it.

Waldo was actually not real, and was a puppet being controlled by people pushing a political agenda, hoping to undermine faith in democracy and give the masses someone they would happily vote for over most any other politician. Trump also is a puppet lacking substance being controlled by his (((handlers))), including Kushner and members of the KGB.

Waldo really does forecast Trump in a lot of ways.

just like my tv shows!

I got a black mirror episode guys:
>individual rights are based on pack opening
>when you have a baby you get an envelope full of the kid's rights
>gotta open a few and have a few kids before you get lucky and get one with free school/actual citizenship

You actually typed this and actually think that's how it is.

It'd be funny if it wasn't so sad.

What if your phone did something bad not good?

Sup Forumstards would be liberals if they weren't brainwashed by their MASS implants.

There's plenty of 'incitement to violence' on the liberal side. It's just that they don't directly say it. They paint the other side is pure evil and simply Russian puppets with no concrete evidence but mountains of innuendo. The eventual violence is predictable.

There's a reason why BLM leaders are getting sued for the sniper incident, just because you mask rabid activism with 'progressive activism doesn't fool anyone.

Trump is a puppet to these people:

1) Bannon and crew because they are the ones who write his speeches and make him resonate with the cultural nationalist base (and the ethno nationalists)
2) General Mattis, because he actually knows what's going on. The downside is that he's aggressive on Iran and Syria - the results show.
3) Kushner, because he's Ivanka's husband
4) Ivanka, the only reason why gay marriage and DACA are still on the table (Bannon supports these things too).

Everything else you said about Russian puppetry is Alex Jones tier interdimensional vampire rapist tier. You have to prove that Trump and associates paid Russians to hack emails, and then give them to wikileaks. Simply pointing out that he has sold buildings to Russians is not proof of anything.

There's a reason many articles preface their stories on russian collusion with "there is no evidence that these transactions signify collusion" - because they hold up to muster.

I don't like all the interracial relationships in a majority of episodes. Feels forced

This 2bh

>There's plenty of 'incitement to violence' on the liberal side
Never said otherwise. Why are you being a whataboutist? We're talking about Trump/Waldo parallels here. Keep your autistic obsession and need to bring "duh libruls!!" into everything out of here.

That sounds so depressing but how could you base an episode around this? I mean it would be a part of its world building but the episode would be based on something else? Or will we just see what adult life is like after your lottery?

I think you have that the other way around. Nobody could be as delusional as a modern day Liberal.

It'd be based on some guy debating on whether he should have kids and on the fact that the entire lottery is rigged and he finds out. Ends with him being bribed with a new pack, but the new pack is actually random.

Ahhh, yes. I watch Wisecrack, too!

shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiet I like it

Episode ends with him opening the pack and it cuts to black before we see what's in it.

Easy. Fucking writes itself.

drumpf btfo

Almost there, here let me fix it up.

Episode ends with him opening the pack and before we see what's in it, it cuts to black and then we hear a gunshot.

*impregnates your wife

Fucking perfect.

who was in the wrong here?

The woman.

I fucking hate the wife, why did she do that, how could she do that? I mean it's one thing to cheat but she never owned up to it and ruined this man's life for like what was it, 6 years? On top of that torturing this guy's cookie for pretty much eternity? I wish someone would have fucking told him.

the grandfather was pretty cool about it
gotta respect that

Other idea for a Black Mirror episode:

>Follows poor chinese immigrant working basically for android clean up
>It's far enough in the future androids are basically around for human usage and public consumerism (like irobot, but they look more human)
>the guy is hiding the fact he is stealing parts and is slowly building a waifu in his shitty apartment
>this is illegal
>shit hits the fan when his android wakes up and it doesn't love him like he wanted it to

hmmmm, I wonder why user decided to post this?

Both sides are excrement.

Its a real shame how americans can truly believe in those stupid ass puppet clowns that they have as politicians... but discard any idependent attempt of singleplayer civilians who want to run

I think what's interesting is that in most of the relationship centric episodes, it's the women cucking the man, and sometimes with the help technology. I'm surprised that armchair feminists didn't criticise the creators for not following the Hollywood memo when it comes to male bashing. It showed men as victims. I wonder, does the creator of this show think technology will bring out the worst in women when it comes to relationships?

even with the russian bullshit this is the first post in this thread that's about the subject and is not worthless

Waldo is Jon Stewart-esque talking heads dictating politics through feels and garbage humor

show still sucks though

Why the fuck would you respect it?

who's that?

But what happens afterwards?

>>show still sucks though
why?

It's all rehashed from 50s/60s US television.

What do you mean? What's wrong with that?

>I cried the whole episode because I suffer from recent loss,
pusy

he's talking about the twilight zone, and other similar shows, and those shows as well can range in quality do to it's episodic nature and it's subject matter

today the twilight zone is more know for it's usually corny twist endings, than it's actual quality and black mirror may end up in the same situation

Black Mirror seems to be quite well done with a good story and non corny endings, really. Or do you mean if they stretch it out?

>If you dislike trump then you are just another one of those libcucks XDXD!

it depends on the episode, i've seen three so far one good one sketchy and one that was just eh

the good one was one that could believably happen today, it was the one where the kid got blackmailed for masturbating after spywhere was installed on his computer, the twist was predictable but that didn't matter because it was believable and the subject matter really does make you thin abit

the sketchy one was the robo bee episode which had an interesting idea, but was completely corny throughout it felt like fucking law and order but in the future as opposed to something to be taken seriously

and the okay one was the one posted in the OP, it has more interesting idea's to it(mainly people willing to vote for a cartoon than anyone with actual ideas) but it was also corny as fuck and abit hyperbolic even

I should also mention the reason I haven't watched more is because several episodes were spoiled for me, and the show doesn't work as well(maybe not at all for some episodes) without the twist

Based pusy poster!

>the twist was predictable
I don't think so, no one I discuss the show with realised what it was going to be including myself. We all just thought why he was making such a big deal.

I learned that this show is very divisive as in people really differ with what they think is a good or bad episode. For me Shut up and Dance is the best and the worst was the one in OP, I found it dull and boring and I just didn't care for it. (Trump wasn't even on the radar back then so to see Trump win after that episode was amusing.)

>I should also mention the reason I haven't watched more is because several episodes were spoiled for me, and the show doesn't work as well(maybe not at all for some episodes) without the twist

I think it's still worth it. These kinds of shows are the shows that you really have to shut yourself off from the rest of the world until you finish binge watching the whole thing desu, people are eager to spoil and discuss these things asap.

You're not gonna get anywhere with the sensitive cuckservative userbase here bro

>I don't think so
nobody would rob a bank over a leaked recording of them just masturbating user, and i do like the show, i'll still give those episodes a try, but i'm mostly waiting for season 4

Trump delivers plenty of his promises.

The establishment meanwhile sunk completely to symbolism politics when it comes to international issues. Thats why they love Merkel so much because she is 100% talk and avoiding the blame for doing nothing.

Yeah I thought it was odd but he might really be anxious about his image and would think it's easy enough, all the things he did he could come back from except for killing someone, there's no way back from that.

it was cp

I know that user, I'm saying that the twist was predictable because nobody would rob a bank over just a leaked video of them beating off, meaning it would have to be more than just beating off

Probably more obvious to you because you spend so much time on Sup Forums

how? I can understand running mild errands for someone to dodge the shame if you were jerking it to something normal, or even something weird but still acceptable like cuckhold porn or feet, but rob a bank? really? how could you not figure it out then

He doesn't want people to see him masturbating his baby dick

that isnt a realistic reason and also doesn't fit in with the trolling groups targets, they only go after people who've done something wrong like they guy who was cheating on his wife

>white women getting knocked up by an asian guy

now that's a TRUE science-fiction.

Cheating is just a social issue really

I agree, but alot of people do see it as wrong, it also helps the episode to, since it makes the trolling group much more antagonistic, if they only targeted pedo's i'd be on their side 100%

Same goes with masturbation probably people would do that

Some episodes are great, some are meh, and some are bad. Overall, a pretty good show.

What's your favorite episode, Sup Forums?

I go out of my way to avoid ANYTHING reddit. So I'll never watch this.

OOOH HEAVEN IS A PLACE ON EARTH

the pewdiepie one

zero ass

The twist made it. I honestly didn't see it coming.

what if adam sandler was an app?

>the envelope contained a manlet with a gun
Kino.

fuck that lame episode. If it wasn't for 'muh lesbian revenge' shit no one would be trying to claim it was anywhere near the best.

Entire History of You was my favorite, also liked San Junipero

you could draw the parallel that politicians are so widely hated and mistrusted that the public are willing to vote for literally any candidate that tells it like it is
also, that when getting BTFO by this nobody, their first instinct is to stoop to character assassination and blackmail

I don't understand the appeal of Hated in the Nation, the twist was predictable and there wasn't much suspense. I liked the premise but I also feel like it is severely overrated, was there a social commentary I missed that wasn't "TROLLING BAD" ?

the episode itself was pretty meh, but the social commentary on surveillance and the powers that be etc. is a pretty hot topic these days

oh and social media, anonymity and its influence ofc

Black Mirror episodes ranked:

>Great
Fifteen Million Merits
The Entire History of You
Be Right Back
Shut Up and Dance
San Junipero

>Good
The National Anthem
The Waldo Moment
White Christmas
Nosedive

>Meh
Hated in the Nation

>Bad
White Bear
Playtest
Men Against Fire

i think i agree with this list entirely

why playtest is bad again

San Junipero is literal pleb detector shit episode.

only one that i skipped parts and barely finished

Why is San Junipero shit tier?

>Great
>San Junipero

People are still pushing this meme ey? Weird

The cop.
No seriously screw the whole cucking plotline. The real monster was the cop who made the copy suffer for an eternity.

Replace the lesbians with a straight couple and no one would've given a shit about this episode. When the popularity hinges on , then it's straight to plebbit tier and is best forgotten.

Men Against Fire was brutal af.

San Jun is mediocre. People just dig it because of muhh insecure slut trying lesbian stuff.

don't forget muh religious girl gets revenge on fundie parents by dating a black girl forever in 'heaven'

P O T T E R Y

PITCH THIS TO BROOKER, NOW

This is practically the Bride of Frankenstein subplot from Penny Dreadful.
