Calling this movie eyecandy would be an understatement.
Its style, story and neo-noir take on reality easily reels you into a troubled, yet beautifully weaved world of the harsh truths.
Character-wise, it's not the strongest, but neither does it need to be.
I think trying to make spicy characters in this particular setting would desaturize what Refn was trying to accomplish with The Neon Demon.
Everything works together, and leaves a mysterious haze of what reality itself really is.
