Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1948) was a British composer. His style is credited with splitting from the German-dominated British music of the 19th century; cutting British music, 'cutting the bonds that from the times of Handel and Mendelssohn had bound England hand and foot to the Continent.'
There will never be another film trilogy like LotR. The music, the cinematography, the acting... and the books, by God the books.
>tfw Minas Tirith is Constantinople, Mordor and the orcs are Moslems and Rohan is the help that never came >mfw the Lord of the Rings is actually a political commentary >mfw we will never, ever see anything like it ever again
The Tallis Fantasia was actually written for the acoustics of Gloucester Cathedral. I did wonder about this but, crikey, it really does sound amazing.
Herbert Howells and Ivor Gurney were there for the premiere and they wrote about spending the rest of the night sprinting manically around Gloucester laughing. I can only imagine what it felt like.
Evan Wood
Just ugh, the Union Jack is like so divisive and bigoted. Like just ugh.
I'm going to watch them all with my bros, we do it every other year in a marathon. Its emosh every time

Pretty glorious lad.
The Hobbit was a mistake. Jackson could have done someone decent with it, made a one movie adventure for the kids, but no, the Jew struck again.

How?

Ayden Taylor
Literally how.
You get GCSE's for breathing.
Jayden Hughes
Was getting caught part of his plan?
Jonathan Young
McKellen broke down on set? I hadn't heard that one.
Of all offenses though, the script was just shit. Terrible comedy, no good emotional investment like the original trilogy, very few memorable moments.
Perhaps the only well directed scene I can think of is the 'Lonely Mountains Cold' sequence, which is mostly carried by Armitage's voice and Howard Shore's amazing take on the song.
"Look at it, if you can bear to. With its cluttered burst of both right-angled and diagonal radiating lines, the British flag is heavy and overbearing, forceful and strident. On a battlefield it would make sense. Sure, this virulent standard served to rally regiments at the Battle of Waterloo. But today? At sporting events? It looks crap. Instead of suggesting unity, its sharp-angled divisions imply fragmentation. In fact, the relentless dynamism of its design evokes the shock and shatter of a cannon ball smashing into a French ship at the Battle of Trafalgar."
His aesthetic sense isn't wrong but those are all the things that are so great about it.
The point of a flag isn't for us to look at it (all that American-style festishising and saluting is clue to the mistake being made), its make the other buggers look at it. And the above is exactly what it says to them.

I wonder what this autist was trying to tell trump. Is he crazy or did he actually have something important to share?
Austin Allen
He probably wanted to red pill him on water filters
Anthony Gray
Can't we get around the table and discuss this?
Nathaniel Bennett
>important it was probably some Sup Forumsack conspiracy or the wikileaks leaks that are already online.

Yea, he broke down when filming the scenes with the dwarves in Bilbo's house. Instead of using camera tricks/small doubles they used CGI and greenscreen. The had Ian in a greenscreen covered house with the actors faces on little circles for him to look at.
I honestly can't blame him. Fucking modern Hollywood.
Jordan Bailey
If we 'sent them all back' would house prices drop off a cliff?
Levi Mitchell
we'll never know, he's on his way to a blacksite as we speak and any further appearances will be a lookalike/hologram making an apology on the news

We truly BTFO of the Argies earlier again, lads.
Why has no one mentioned this?

Our current levels of immigration are why wages are so low, unemployment so high, prices so high, housing so scarce and prices on homes so high.
It honestly baffles me why people defend immigration so damn much. It benefits no one.
Also, can anyone think of a better title for the video?
Kevin Miller
>Also, can anyone think of a better title for the video?
Isn't it funny?
Jose Campbell
Jesus christ, how are you supposed to work in those conditions as an actor? I'm amazed he did as well as he did.
That's just sad and pitiful, especially compared with what was obviously a life-changing experience working on the original trilogy, which is basically the last series of films ever made that were untouched by the SJW cultural marxist shite.
Welp, now I'm sad.

Thanks, I know I messed it up a little but I've been trying to make interesting OPs recently. Someone will have to take the night watch tonight though, I'm off to bed.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. We're going to be the longest-lived generation so far, it seems more and more likely that within 50 years we'll have massive extensions in human life available. Just try and last that long!
