It's weird how comedies based mostly in gags, goofs, and slapstick can be so transcendentally funny. Although Neilson's inherently comedic presence and timing is part of it too.
(okay, Marx Bros does a lot of gags and slabstick too but it's not always successful in comedy. takes a certain gift for it)
