What is it like living in a brazilian favela?

...

I think it's pretty similar to the taco favela you're living in right now ajajajajajaj

Baiano did nothing wrong

ï thought italians were Bros :(

Lo siento muchissimo :(

Literally Paradise

> Futebol on the streets with your best friends
> Caipirinhas and cold beer while watching the sunset.
> The best views in all of Rio
> Cute girls with big bundas

City of God was probably less violent back then than it is now.

looks worse than Colombia right now

It depends.
They are poor but not extremely poor. They all have food, water, tv, internet, some of them even cable tv, cars and bikes and shit.
They all smoke weed 24/7 so their life is not THAT bad.
It's still pretty bad tho.

GTA but less clean and organized

desu living in a favela hut with just basic necessities while smoking weed all day would be a fine life for me, its the crime that makes it seem nightmarish. i hate getting my shit stolen and i dont wanna get beheaded

>people in this thread are romanticizing favelas

Then people ask why the rest of the country hates Rio.

No one steals in favela becaus it will drawn police attention and mess with the drug trafic.
Favelas are unironically one of the safest places.

what exactly is holding back the favelas from being developed more seriously?

Infrastructural problems, nigger mentality/culture.
They rather join the local gang rather than studying. And believe me, the government have lots of programs for educating favelados.

Favela is a dirty and dangerous shithole, stay your white ass out of there.

I don't know

They have more programs to help favelados and manos than small entrepreneurs.

This. Any favelado could easly do a tech course and become employed.
But nigger mentality is rooted to deep in them all they want to do is smoke weed, fuck, and kill da police and shit.
Blame gangsta rap.

Colombia got much better and safer favelas

ooh ee, ooh ah ah, ting tang wawa wawa bing bang
