pajeet and spic approved so its gotta be right

Still wrong, cuck

I like Zack Snyder. I have no idea why he gets so much shit. I can only assume it's a facet of our toxic political culture. The same people that flock to Marvel's films are shitting on his. It's clearly not the content or subject matter. It's how he portrays it that bothers them.

I like him for this and for his skill as a cinematographer. Or whoever is doing his cinematography. Dawn of Justice looks gorgeous in almost every shot. A digital hi-res monitor of good size is highly recommended.

What the fuck do you think genesis means you fucking idiot? Saged

His movies are shit because there's no definable plot, and flat characters.

One of those is obviously untrue. The other is an opinion. Scenes with no dialogue tend to be the ones that illustrate and flesh out Snyder's characters.

One thing he didn't do in BvS do is establishing shots, which makes the film feel like a bit of a dervish. Repeat viewings are recommended if you really want to get all of the plot.

It is the kino Mr sir

Twitter filled with toxic loser; news at 11. Back to you, Brian.

Winter Soldier is the best movie Marvel has done, that doesn't make it ''''holy genesis''''

I agree. The only other real contenders are Ang Lee's Hulk, Shyamalan's Unbreakable, and Raimi's first two Spider-Man movies, if we're keeping it to the 21st century.

They're all so good I would hesitate to even attempt to rank them.

That's cute.

But seriously, I wonder what over a decade of cape comics is going to do to what the audience expects a good movie and protagonist to have. Are audiences going to expect all protagonists to be ubermensch who naturally have abilities no one else has without having to work for them?

youre a literal cancer

Snyder's cape flicks are the only ones to actually inject humanity into the characters.

Every other director parades around a clown show. Nothing more than a charade. A farce.

Sup Forumsedditors leave

Worst one yet

>inject humanity into the characters.
It's funny, because his characters do not seem human at all. This might have some to do with the writing, but mostly with his directing. He seems absolutely incapable of understanding human emotion and expressing it on the screen, therefore he merely uses shortcuts such as symbolism and references to previous works of art, making everything feel hollow and cold, and the actors do barely more than pose and contort their faces. He's a shit director, regardless of his intentions.

60s bond did everything diabolik did but better

is this a joke

WHERE MUH FUN

WHERE MUH QUIPS

gayboy

>holy genesis

what the literal fuck did he mean by this?

BvS was better than WW

this.

I mean character development in his flicks in dumbed down to people shouting

truly epic

Have you noticed that the steam has really went out of the 'BvS and Man of Steel weren't trainwrecks, they were deep kino' trolling since Wonder Woman came out and was a movie that people actually wanted to watch?

No, I didn't actually. There's still people calling it kino in every thread it's brought up in, and in every "times the critics were wrong" thread. I've also seen a few "was it too deep for modern audiences" threads in the past few weeks too.

>Winter Soldier

Jesus Christ all these fucking faggots saying Winter Soldier is some kind of classic lmao srsly niggers.
>muh drones
literally one of the most hollow movie that exposes the tasteless time and time again

This is a joke right?
BvS is really bad, its bottom 3 capeshit movie of all time

>Marlets their autism onto others again

Sure, buddy, sure it is. Good try though.

stop being a contrarian

I'm not being a contrarian. Data isn't determined by conensus. Neither is film.

>uses opinions of others to validate his own rather than think for himself
wew

I love threads like these. It's the perfect confluence of stereotypical nerdy plebshit, it's the average Sup Forums poster, relatively new to the site, who goes to all the big boards on the site and shits them all up equally with his narrow knowledge and experience with various artistic mediums. He knows mainstream video games, he knows mainstream anime, he knows mainstream cartoons (especially those from the 90s and early 00s), and he knows only the biggest comic book characters. And he feels marginalized by society because of how much of a shut in he is, so he'll have the most shallow Sup Forums opinions and tastes. He'll prattle on endlessly about cucks and interracial porn, but he isn't informed or even cares about international political issues and happenings. It's just a slight veneer of racism and misogyny and the rejection of anything that could be considered "degenerate."

And the cross poster signals all of this to his other cross posters with the word "kino." It's like those hobo chalk signs. You slap it on a thread so other cross posters know it's safe to come out of the woodwork.

It's like a sociological study seeing these threads

shut up and show pusy

yeah, your image is total shit.

how about this. all superhero movies are gay because they have comic book characters in it and they're superhero movies

show me youre pusy dear

>logan
>capekino
pick one

if you are defending Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and MARTHA you are truly autistic
Not to mention the terrible pacing, the jumps in stories and zero character growth
also the editing that looks like it was done by amateur youtuber
the whole movie is just bad

Other than the Watchmen it's all Sup Forums memes that introduced the kino buzzword and you fucking know it.

...

>batman has lost his way after 20 years of crimefighting, goes through an existential crises from being confronted by someone who in all sense transcends him, learns that said being is just a man, and in the end rediscovers his humanity from the man's humanity and sacrifice
>zero character growth
Okay

>put random blatant bible references in every 2nd scene
>retards eat that shit up as "subtle"

>picture references greek mythology but can only latch on to 'b-but christianity' because thats the meme answer for people who can't appreciate art

>it's another "pleb can't articulate a real critique of the movie because of his tiny brain" episode

Batman was straight up dumb in that movie
how did he not know Superman's identity or his mother's name? isn't he suppose to be the greatest detective in the world?
Also Superman is pretty dumb as well, he had so many chances to neutralize Batman completely to get him out of the way but he just flies away instead and eventually gets caught, just stupid
things like that ruin a movie

what a great counter-argument, you changed my mind on the movie completely

only my dick is tiny my brain is really big

>Winter Soldier

The funny thing is that I already knew this was Batman's character arc from reading what was the story, but the movie itself couldn't make me feel that was what was going on. For such a sombre movie, it had no dramatic weight at all. Even Superman's death felt both hollow and shallow. It's as if Snyder is completely unable of understanding and transmitting human emotions.
The fact that such an obvious and cliche scene like Steve Trevor's sacrifice in WW still manages to feel much more important than the death of fucking Superman in his own movie says a lot.
Snyder just can't direct actors and can't build a satisfying narrative.

>how did he not know Superman's identity or his mother's name?

why would he care about that? the reason why batman wants to kill him in the first place was that he was something inhuman, an alien, capable of destruction. for all he cared he wouldnt assume supes tried to hang out with a bunch of other humans in a secret identity. his goal in mind was to kill him, so he became focused on the kryptonite instead.

also supes only met bats once, as far as i was concerned, and that was only to threaten him. its not in supes character to just beat up a guy. he did the same thing to lex luthor until he realized he had his momma.

The Shadow, The Dark Knight, Blade, Hellboy 1 +2, Spiderman 1 + 2, Kickass, Super, Iron Man, Watchmen, Dredd, X2, Logan, first half of Hancock

No order.

>why would he care about that? the reason why batman wants to kill him in the first place was that he was something inhuman, an alien, capable of destruction.
Do you not think he would research his target before hunting it down?
He found out he is allergic to kryptonite somehow,so he did research but somehow missed his identity?

>He found out he is allergic to kryptonite somehow

the only thing he was able to find out was that kryptonite was able to weaken kryptonian cells. the fact that it was kept so under cover by luthor probably gave batman more confirmation.

That begs the question why are the media you would label "mainstream" any less worthy of fans? The quality of art is by nature subjective so someone who likes art that your do not like is not doing anything wrong by focusing on that which he likes. The greater tragedy would be if we all liked the exact same things.

are you really that far gone you cannot tell blatant sarcasm from reality

yearly reminder

All the main characters had full arcs. Some are confused bc characters can have external and internal arcs or a combination of both. In predator Dutch has a mostly external arc going from hunter to hunted to based alien hunter. Hamlet has an internal arc, deciding to avenge his cucked fathers death.

Bruce Wayne batman begins the film in fear/anger at superman for the destruction he caused. Incidentally the altercation with the police mirrors his struggle with superman but with him being the frightening being with power and the cop lashing out in fear at a being he does not understand but is actually on his side. He ends the film not only empathizing with superman but wanting to "not fail him in death" or living by supermans example so his arc was mostly internal. Supermans arc was mostly external (like in a James Bond movie) he starts as god like, then lowers himself when he appears before congress to the level of man then is almost killed by the nuke then actually is killed by doomsday. I could go on but my point is all the main characters have development

there are people who unironically think this would be better

lol that's so stupid
