He said underrated. USA is well known, but the little things like the 1st and 2nd amendment don't get the recognition that they deserve. South America, the Middle East, and Africa are regarded as shitholes, so gems like Chile, Jordan, and Botswana that are relatively nice go unnoticed. Poland often flies under the radar in the eyes of Americans. Ukraine, Russia, Syria, and the Central African Republic are definitely shitholes, but they are good places to go for combat tourism.

I think Oman should definitely be on the list. It's possibly one of the most underrated countries there are.
I don't think you can just generalise them. Samoa and Tonga are in very different situations from Tuvalu.
