There is also a manga on the subject

Janusz Waluś (/ˈjɑːnəs ˈwɒləs/, Polish: [ˈjanuʂ ˈvaluɕ]; born 14 January 1953)[1] is a Polish convicted murderer and far-right extremist. He previously held dual Polish-South African citizenship from 1986 until his South African citizenship was revoked in 2017.

Waluś is currently serving a life sentence for the 1993 assassination of Chris Hani, General Secretary of the South African Communist Party and chief of staff of Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK), the armed wing of the African National Congress (ANC).[2]

>posting a hero in a thread about criminals

Fucking Slav(e) subhumans. Why can't they stay home?

commies should die btw

She was not Polish, it was her ex-husband's last name. Gertrude was a fucking Germ. All that stuff is completely normal for Germs.

Well, I'm not defending his act (also, there is some controversy if he was the real assassin, wiki should have more info), but what he said during the trial was kinda accurate:
>Waluś defended his political objectives with the statement:

>They (the ANC) are communist and they will destroy this wonderful country. They will squander all that was built here by Whites with such difficulty. It pains me that everything here will be destroyed in the name of a multiracial Utopia that will never work here. They want freedom and democracy. In a few years freedom and democracy will be all they will have.[5]

This woman was as Polish as Gacy, ie. not at all. As for authentic Polish serial killers (for some reason they were called "vampires" here) or other criminals, there are some great movies worth checking out, eg:

imdb.com/title/tt6104058/

>Gertrude Nadine Baniszewski (née Van Fossan; September 19, 1929 – June 16, 1990) was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Mollie Myrtle (née Oakley) and Hugh Marcus Van Fossan Sr., both of whom were originally from Illinois and were of American and Dutch descent.
Sadly you can't blame the Poles for this one.

I enjoyed the movie based on that case

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Girl_Next_Door_(2007_film)

cases like this makes you think why "manslaughter" is even a thing.

I mean, there is the implication that it's not as bad as murder. however, in this case, the family "just" wanted to torture the girl for the rest of her life, not murder her. and that's supposed to be less serious than a murder?

There are many socially aceptable contexts in which to throw a punch. If, with no intention to do so, you one-hit-kill a guy, is that equivalent to punching a guy because you wanted to kill him?

that's the cases where it should be applied. not cases like this.

when you torture someone so that their bodies become fucked up beyond a certain point, it becomes clear that you don't intend for them to ever recover. calling it manslaughter at this point is way too lenient.
