Yes they do

What a country

americans clap because they think thst the actors can hear them through the screen.

They also clap when a plane lands or when a bus arrives at a stop

No way that's true. Now you're going too tell me that they wear shoes indoors

user...

Do they do that for real? I thought that was just on tv because they are on set.

the plane landing thing is definitely true. i like it though

Nah it's actually real, they trample mud all into their house

So cultured!

These people are animals in human skin.

Canadians do it too. I was in Montreal when the last Harry Potter movie came out and I went to see it with my sister and everyone was clapping and cheering the entire time. Here you can go to a completely packed cinema and the most you can hear is people occasionally saying something to the person they're next to. Much prefer it this way.

hint: canadians are americans are anglos

like canadanians are any better lol go eat an egg my boy haha

There are over 22 million Americans here every year and Montréal is the 2nd most popular city to visit.

One harbour wasn't enough.

Americans do wear shoes indoors and do clap at the end of movies. I've never personally seen Americans clap when a plane lands but I'm sure it probably happens sometimes. I've never heard of Americans clapping when a bus stops though.
