>"We've got some pretty wild traps in the film, we don't shy away from the gore. It's such a perfect Halloween scarefest. It's perhaps not quite as vicious and more fun, which is something we tried to inject into it. But it's still full of good fun gore, that's for sure. And, on top of that, it's got a really great mystery, and there's very interesting twists. It's Saw for 2017."
Is the old man actually back as Jigsaw? I really like him
Jacob Hughes
What's happening in this picture?
Henry Ramirez
Tobin Bell is back in the film but they refuse to reveal in what capacity. He died in 3, in this one it's a copycat killer. I'm thinking they may be doing some Fight Club thing where we'll often view the copycat killer as Tobin Bell.
Julian James
>And, on top of that, it's got a really great mystery, and there's very interesting twists I'm actually looking forward to it. My favourite Saw is V.
>some pretty wild traps in the film, we don't shy away from the gore
Sounds pisspants #litty bruh.
Dylan Reed
>retards still fucking watch these pieces of shit There is not a single good film in the entire series, you should neck yourself
Jaxson Baker
>no fun allowed
Mason Morris
how are you suppose to react? remain perfectly still or trash wildly?
Jeremiah Collins
go flat as a seastar
Ryan Rivera
We pissing our pants yet? Boy do I have a feeling we're getting close.

why are American people so fucking retarded?
Zachary Harris
Oh good that's fine
Noah Hill
Why does the guy get thrown back by some sort of explosive force
Mason Walker
Remember how shows sometimes joke about porno titles like "Love Pump Lickers 13" or whatever? We're starting to flirt with that territory with some of this franchise shit.
Dominic Allen
>not eating all the grain until you're free
no will to live, Jigsaw would approve their death desu.
Elijah Watson
Grains are one of the unhealthiest Foods the modern man can ever consumed
Matthew Morgan
Someone's taking ideas straight from The Witness. No shame in that really.
I think it's reality ripping on Witness, if you consider the dates. Besides, he buried the guy in the movie intentionally, this wasn't an accident.
John Morris
probably not as unhealthy as dying of asphyxiation
Easton Rivera
>I think it's reality ripping on Witness, if you consider the dates You think those two posted news articles are the only two times in history people have died this way? People have been dying this way for decades.
Eli Thompson
Uhm yes hello? This franchise ended a few years ago. What is the point of this thread??
Benjamin Allen
I hope theres some actual sense in escaping in the traps at least. Some of the recent ones either had no chance for the punished victim to escape or the logic was so longwinded and convoluted that it made no sense and the victim still had basically no chance of living.
Evan Nguyen
What the fuck is Witness?
Josiah Diaz
>Some of the recent ones either had no chance for the punished victim to escape or the logic was so longwinded and convoluted that it made no sense and the victim still had basically no chance of living. All of the traps had a method of escaping except for two in 3 because they were rigged by Amanda, one in both 6 and 7 because they were executions. You don't remember the movies very well and are just inserting your own delusions onto the films.
Levi Davis
sounds alright
Lucas Cooper
Is that wheat? Like a wheat silo?
My mom grew up in the country and apparently heaps of kids used to go and play in the wheat silos and just sink to the bottom and get compressed, and then suffocate to death underneath. Neato
James Thomas
Taking accidents and turning them into legitimate action pieces isn't ripping. What's your problem anyway? I just pointed out that grain burial was most effectively used in the Witness even though it is a mediocre movie. So I assume thats where they took inspiration from, it's not an obscure scene anyway. It is a terrifying concept. If you have any other movie in mind that did it better tell me. Why you feel content with going full: "dude these accidents happened in reality so they are ripping on real life xD" is every police shoot-out in action movies is ripping too? Those happen in real life.
Mediocre "detective" movie about Amish with Ford. As far as I know anyone who has ever talked about production admitted that it was a miserable experience.
Luke Walker
Could be neat.
I'll see it if it's not too scary, or maybe just a cut without all the deaths when it comes out.
Gavin Ward
You sound autistic.
Charles Morgan
I was rooting for him ;_;.
Cooper Wright
I didn't even realise that I was almost nostalgic for this franchise. Watching Saw on Halloween became a tradition for my friends and I and the prospect of doing that again has me kinda hyped. Hopefully they mix the best elements of the Amanda Trilogy with the best stuff from the Hoffman trilogy.
Nathaniel Bennett
Why do you offend me? What did I ever do to you on this cambodian soap cooking forum?
Robert Perez
good fun gore
What a time to be alive. I think I´m going to Sup Forums to see some good fun liveleaks
Parker Long
>watching intentionally bad garbage is fun
Justin Torres
But it's not intentionally bad. Something like Sharknado or Paranormal Activity would be that. >saw's dedication to continuity is unmatched by any other movie series in the history of cinema >fun traps >lovable heroes and villains >lost-styled mysteries spread across the series >tightly weaved together story which gets convoluted, but that's a big part of it's charm They actually put effort into these films, these are made for horror movie fans, they actually want to entertain you. Something like PA is made because hoards of dumb teenagers will go to see them just so they can talk about how hilarious it was when Stacey jumped so hard she spilled her popcorn. Saw has merit and effort behind it.
But whatever, I'll leave your 15 year old armchair film critic persona to your pretentious whining as you pretend these movies are absolute shit void of any artistic merit without actually having seen them.
Ayden Torres
Am I the only one that can handle the gore but totally get wrecked by the emotional aspect of the movies? I mean, I can handle gore if it's just gore, but for some reason I get really stressed out from looking at other people being in emotional distress.
Easton Nelson
>DUUUDE WHAT IF THERE WAS A COPYCAT KILLER WHO WAS COPYING THE OLD SAW MOVIES, AND HE TRACKS DOWN THE ACTOR TOBIN BELL BECAUSE HE THINKS HES REALLY JIGSAW
>WOULDNT THAT BE SOOOO META???
Isaiah White
Why does jigsaw build all these complicated puzzles? What if he gets the dosage wrong?
Xavier Nelson
I hated V at first but re-watching them, it had a lot more charm than any of the other sequels. Only VI is slightly better and that's due to the traps.
John Hernandez
I doubt that's what they're doing. It's just gonna be a copycat in the actual Saw universe.
Jack Bell
I hope we see hoffman's dead ass

All apart from 7 were absolute kino.
Logan Clark
>Saw 8 >Fast Furious 9 >Transformers 6 and what's problem with that? Why are you saw insecure about this that you are unironically in rage?
Charles Lewis
Dr Gordon's return was good, something we all predicted super early in the series. They dragged it a bit, with an idea of where its going but different writers seemed to jump between loving and hating Hoffman.
Really Strahm should have taken Hoffman down and killed him in a trap, he was a much stronger character. He should have become overcome and Hoffman, as Hoffman had repeatedly failed jigsaw tests as jigsaw himself, its revealed to strahm that he has just furthered the legacy of jigsaw.
Strahm on the run becomes the big point of 6/7 then, with 6 set at the same time/last half of five. Traps are still being set in 7 and everyone assumes its strahm.
Strahm is captured by Gordon who locks him in the bathroom, and he cuts his way out. Gordon reveals his identity in the series to strahm and strahm becomes a blackmailed apprentice to the new jigsaw.
Also showing Gordon much earlier (saw 5?) Would have made it better...
Remove the 3d shit.
Levi Jones
Nice
Alexander Ramirez
Originally they wanted Doctor G to come back in 6 trying to get revenge against Jigsaw (now Hoffman). I think there was a scheduling issue with Cary Elwes or something.
Aaron Rodriguez
Transformers and The Fast & Furious are the result of foreign markets.
Easton Gomez
I hope Hoffman is alive
Jace Martinez
>Something like Sharknado or Paranormal Activity would be that. Not really. It's not intentionally bad. Maybe unavoidably so, but the appeal of these movies is not that they're bad, at least no PA.
Elijah Baker
Wow, this looks fucking awful. Seems like little effort was put into the gore. This is even worse. Why can't they bother with proper blood spurts. It would make the films far scarier and grittier. This is laughably bad.
Jason Kelly
>There are actually people on Sup Forums that unironically like this garbage
I don't know if Sup Forums has gotten any lower than this.
Andrew Cook
go watch age of ultron for the 800th time you fag cunt
Juan Barnes
Age of ultron is unironicly 10 times better then the shit you just posted.
Anthony Scott
Watching the money shot condensed into a repeating few seconds webm is one thing, but in the context of the movie the gore is fine. For the most part they have great effects work.
Kevin Hernandez
Seriously? Is this like a b8 reply because I insulted your previous shitty torture porn, or you think I really prefer capeshit? This looks like shit and you know it. I always thought these films were fucking brutal, but not anymore.
Michael Murphy
There was probably a thread at one point where people where nostalgic for those Friedberg and Seltzer "parody" films, so Sup Forums was probably lower then.
Jace Lee
who pays you to post this shit?
Parker Lee
Okay, this looks a lot better. It's still incredibly vulgar and worthless artistically, but at least effort is put into it, unlike just putting shitty looking squibs in post production.
Brody Jackson
>Tobin Bell literal kino.
Tyler Harris
WTF i hate grain silos now!!
Zachary Evans
Bro this is still Saw. Hopefully they'll do what they did in every single movie post 4 and include copious amounts of him in flashbacks.
Hudson Mitchell
some '''franchises''' are so baffling to me, 7 (SEVEN) saw movies with another in development, 6 resident evil movies which is now being rebooted wtf, 5 transformer movies with another 2 planned and a spinoff also in the works
how the actual fuck doe these movies make any money?? saw i can SOMEWHAT understand because it probably costs peanuts to make but 8 movies of the same shit? really
almost as retarded as the 20 billion friday the 13th movies, horror is such a terrible genre
Ryan Rodriguez
>how the actual fuck doe these movies make any money How is it difficult to understand? Enough people attend these films in theaters for a price and then purchase derivative products that provide a revenue comfortably larger than the investment cost, and this has happened again and again. Cracks are forming in this model though, but it's still pretty healthy. Do you think they would just make movies for tens of millions of dollars just to have no one see it and the studios and distributors just lose money?
