Do you think he'll be able to capture the ethos of California's transition from the happy go lucky high hippy times of the late 60s to the hangover/sobering up of the early 70s in his Manson film?
Will he be able to capture the intricacies of cult mentality, isolation, and the horrors that the human mind is capable of?
Or will he just cast a black man as the cop and make it about race with a couple of scenes of unnecessarily grotesque violence interspliced with shots of j-law's feet?
I've always found the Manson case interesting because if it hadn't happened in Hollywood and involved celebrities, it would most likely be a mostly forgotten footnote.
