Absolutely.
NO.
The State (which viacom has blocked on youtube from ever showing up)
or Tim And Eric Awesome Show Great Job!
Just this 45 minute collection of Cinco commercials alone is funnier and more inventive than anything Bob and Dave did.
Kys
Tim and Eric exist because of Bob Odenkirk, you cunt.
>The State
No, The State was too random, "I'm so wierd", poop.
Chapelle's Show, only sketch comedy show were I laughed at 90% of skits
INB4 Some faggot claims Kids in the Hall.
no shit? they existed before him i'm sure. he also pimped the birthday boys and they sucked. looks like odenkirk had nothing to do with t &e's success other than getting them their first gig.
the state's not random at all.
We haven't had a sketch thread in a while, post your favorites, any show
how old r u
oh shit i found some state eps on yt.
this one is really good but cropped. the intro skit sucks, everything else is good.
this.
even his subpar skits blew other shows out of the water.
WAY WAY WAY older than you.
>mfw Michael McDonald shows up
holy shit how did they get away with this
its only because he has a funny demeanor like norm macdonald.
the skits if they were stripped of chappelle's "acting" would suck.
Barely in the top 10.
Bad taste
Kid in the Hall was a good show but not as good as Mr Show
this was the best madtv sketch

...
this is gonna blow a lot of minds here. but 80s NBC David Letterman specifically mid-80s has the best skits of any tv comedy program. he won the emmy i think four times in a row for best variety/comedy program and won 2 peabody awards as well. letterman and his show were absolutely nothing like his cbs show. much closer in tone to tim and eric, 90s conan, etc. his writers from the 80s went on to write the simpsons, in living color, and cabin boy/death to smoochy.
That would be Chapelle's Show
All those things sound terrible
you have shit taste, son, sorry. no bait.
Thank God for youtube
mr show isn't even funny
Tim & Eric are poor man's Mr Show
the alka seltzer suit and the velcro suit were peak comedy
correct

Any other Sir Digby fans? Probably my favorite sketch ever
watch this episode from the start to the 17 minute mark. it's comedy perfection. pissed of letterman is perfection. you can see why norm macdonald loved him so much from these 17 minutes.
this made me laugh til I cried when I was in middle school
the state and mr show really are the best
the last one they did was pretty depressing wew
>tfw Millennial punks don't know about SCTV
i have never seen anyone discuss Human Giant here, but it's one of my favorite sketch comedy shows. Rob, Paul, and Aziz are fucking hilarious together and it's a shame that it didn't last longer.
SCTV is Canadian, not American.
i used to watch that on nick at nite. i didnt really get all the john candy as devine jokes, but i loved strange brew
This is not Uprights Citizens Brigade, so, no.
Monty Python, SNL until 79, SCTV, Letterman from 85 to 88, SNL from 88 to 92, The State, Conan from 95-98, Mr Show, Chappelle Show, Human Giant/Wonder Showzen, Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Kroll Show/Portlandia.
Everything else sucks, esp KITH.
Shit, forgot about that.
put it on the list.
sorry, didn't see American.
MTV/Viacom fucked The State so hard. They released it finally after years and they butchered the music, like always. They did it with Beavis and Butthead, Daria and many more. Fuck MTV/CBS/VIACOM.
Thank god one person itt knows what's up. UCB is god tier.
...
How ya livin' WHAT! How ya livin? WHAT?! IN LIVING COLOR!
they also choose not to play it on comedy central, even with the changed music, it could be a cult hit for them if they showed reruns of the fucking show they 100% own, but no,that makes too much sense.
