tjos movie.

...

Lol, that's LITERALLY a blue nigger on this poster.

You some kind of sweetie or something

I'm actually really surprised at how great the school scenes were, really realistic.

youtube.com/watch?v=yVaUq98qWGE

I thought the chair scene was pretty expertly filmed. The tension from a guy just going through a bunch of doors. Impressive.

please translate

i'm all about russki bros

too homosexual for me

The main character does ONE thing in the entire film (hits someone with a chair). No fucking agency.

The mother's problems are solved with a timeskip (and they still love each other how sweet).

The third act drolls on because anyone with any sense of human interaction knows the attraction, but it insists on being "slow" and "realistic."

Then it just ends. The character is a Mary Sue that has boys falling in love for him, when he never actually does anything other than be quiet and one time hit someone with a chair. If this was about an Elliot Rodger type character, the movie would be criticized at as a male fantasy.

Govno = shit / crap.
Ebanoe = fucking.

>(and they still love each other how sweet).
Are you trying to say you wouldn't still love your mother unconditionally? Some son you are.

EVERY N-WORD IS A STAR

Just saw it last night, beautiful film. Deeply, intensely intimate. Beautifully directed and acted. Simple but vast in its way. More about the formation of identity and self than anything about race or sexuality. very impressed.

if you wanted to be miserable and hate yourself just watch manchester at the sea for the non nigger version

Both of them are good.

It sucked.

Nah it didn't.

This.

trips confirm

>not pointing out the post above
Sad.

>dude im gay and black lmao
10/10 best movie ever literally crying right now black people are so oppressed when will our patriarchial evil cis-white hetero neurotypical society change its foul ways

Good film that relied on the nuances of its performances. I felt like it didn't really do much within the medium of film to actually tell the story though. It was an adaption without much of a reason, and it showed.

An 8.5/10, worth seeing, but absolutely did not deserve Best Picture. Manchester By The Sea, La La Land, and Silence were all better.

Truly awful post.

Gay nigger gangbanger sells drugs and has ANGER : the movie

They didn't give an oscar to that movie about women raped by turks that made their own death cult to kill themselves because society rejected them and they hated their entire human-woman experience, cursing everyone from their ancestors to the Ottoman Empire.

No, Oscar goes to niggers, because muh token prizes.

It's actually a really good film if you aren't a racist.

The film's not even about social justice it's just a really good character drama.
eh but Moonlight really was a different look at "ghetto" life.

Nitpick: the post.

Yup.

>muunraito

what did the japs mean by this?

>look at me I can read katakana
Wow you are so cool. /s

Great.

Best.

movies normies will never understand

Uh, considering it won an Oscar, I think not?

Here's an /r/movies thread where a lot of people understand it quite well.

Although, there are some sad things happening...

Such a beautifully shot film.

Reminded me of Eyes Wide Shut at time.

...

...

Moonlight is the greatest conservative film of the last ten years.

>pushes traditional gender roles
>has a comfortable admiration for Eisenhower-era America
>glorifies no degenerate behavior. the one character who comes close is instantly squashed
>realistically portrays the vices and virtues of being working class

>just a really good character drama
with completely unrealistic characters

>with completely unrealistic characters
how so?>

>main character is named after Greek mythology
And people try to pretend blacks aren't smart.

I liked it, 2/3 of the film was really good (witch unfortunately happens quite a lot now, not knowing what to do from the half to the end of a film)

I honestly felt the third part was the strongest of the three so it's odd that I see this criticism.

Ah.

I LOVE the end, but the third act was almost nothing compared to the first ones where i almost cried...

What made you almost cry?

>gay niggas

Dropped

My gay friend thought it was fake bullshit written to capitalize on libtards social justice sensibilities.

>Gay nigger oscar-bait
pass

There are no tough guy gay gangsters with gold teef.

Your gay friend is a bigger idiot than Milo. The film is hardly about being gay.

There are tons.

there are they just don't ever expose it just like the main character kept it hidden once relocating

First off. I saw this last year, and I'm not lying, probably 50 or more percent of the people in the theatre were seniors. Me and my girlfriends from uni are 19-22 and we had an old couple in front of us and on both sides of us, the entire theatre smelled like old people.

Second off, people were checking their phones 30 minutes in. It was distracting. The old man sitting beside me fell asleep and I knew when he fell asleep because his breathing changed from quiet to slow and heavy and the old lady in front kept turning around to see who was making so much noise.

Third off, when the movie ended, only 1 group of nerdy highschoolers awkwardly clapped. I felt so totally embarrassed for them, myself, and everyone around me. They started off clapping so confidently, like they thought they could get everyone else to clap too. Then the old lady on the other side of me was about to start clapping but when she saw no one else was joining along with them she changed her mind. Everyone left the theatre in dead silence.

Where? Do you know them? Where is any evidence of this?

This explains the content of this movie perfectly.

Reminder that based nigga Tyrell did NOTHING wrong

My dad saw this with my sis, as recommended by me.
She said after that it was amazing.
He said it was ok.

it's a pasta u walnut

I am one.

I'm laffin imagining the Japanese audience watching Moonright

...

>gay handjob scene
>NANI?!!?!?

>chorus of "eeeEEEEEEHHHHH?"

Ogenki desu ka nigga?

gay black dudes, what more could the film entail

WATCH IT AND FIND OUT.

no, sounds gay and icky

It should be right up your alley then

Aside from the GAY BLACK THUG stuff. This film captures the essence being isolated in an urban enviroment, and crack addiction (althought her performance was "tame" compared to real stuff crack mothers do, and the actress actually had one. She captured the little nuancea perfectly though.)

GAY THUGS EATING CARRIBEAN FOOD is the new GAY COWBOYS EATING PUDDING. I don't think 'MOONRIGHTSU' will do very well in Japan.

no, I like gay porn. Not gay movies

It's Moonraito, you idiot. Not every Japanese word ends with "su."

Also, even though Monae and Alibgave solid perfomances, the Juan/Theresa stuff was cringe. The whole crackdealer with heart of gold and his SoulSistahSupreme girlfriend was total pointless horseshit. That stuff is a total fairy tale.

Sorry, I triggered your autism by disrespecting glorious nippon. One day you'll be accepted into the Yakuza and complete your training to work the hibachi at Benihana.

It's literally just gay niggas staring at the ground for three hours

Another fucking mistake. It is NIHON, you complete fucking moron. I bet your pronunciation is disgusting, too.

It's not even two hours long.

well if we're being technical its munraito, with the dash making the U in mu longer

That's how long it felt cuz it was boring as shittttttt

I know what you mean, Valhalla Rising is an hour and a half and it feels like it's six fucking hours long.

probs b8, but whatever ill bite.. nippon was the original pronunciation you tard. stop basing your knowledge off anime

>I'M GAY AND BLACK
ground breaking

Nippon was never the original pronunciation, it was just the way the Americans bastardized is like Americans bastardize every fucking language in the world. Japan's original name was Wa

Gomenasai, my name is Buck Satan.

I’m a 35 year old American Otaku (Anime fan for you gaijins). I draw Anime and Manga on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior Japanese games. (Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Persona series)

I train with my Katana every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my sword license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.

I speak Japanese fluently, both Kanji and the Osaka dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Japanese history and their bushido code, which I follow 100%

When I get my Japanese visa, I am moving to Tokyo to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Studio Ghibli or a game designer!

I own several kimonos, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Japan, so I can fit in easier. I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Japanese as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.

Wish me luck in Japan!

I'm looking for a bento box, it cant be pinku (that's Japanese for pink) or any girl color. It has to be of 2 or more kotoba (that's Japanese for 2 compartments) and has be be chibi (small) sized. And has to be really kawaii (cute). Also It has to be about 10-20 bux. And you have to post pics of it first (i want to make shure it's kawaii [cute]). And it would be nice if it came with matching chopstick holder (WITH chopsticks). OH! and it CANNOT have any cartoon pictures, or be made out of plastic. It has to be made of ceramic, or something like that. Also it would be nice if it was made in japan. and not in china or corea (Korea) or whatever. I have found a bento box similar to the one im describing in e-bay, but it was 1 kotoba, and i don't want my gohan (rice) to touch my other things (it can get wet and i would not like that, plus 2 compartments looks more kawaii)

Why do Americans get so triggered when people actually have knowledge about something? Is it because being American requires you to be an idiot?

...

What website is that?

wtf is this faggot talking about?

I'll just link the comment directly.

reddit.com/r/movies/comments/5exe5g/official_discussion_moonlight_spoilers/dag2040/

Let's talk den.

Too heterosexual for my tastes.

He's butthurt. Simple as that.

Sort of. Anti intellectualism is a big thing. That scene in in Idiocracy where Luke Wilson gets called a faggot for using big words is 100% true. It's like how Brits hate people that act posh. Americans hate people that act intelligent

Pretentious as fuck. Literally nothing happens.

I remember the moving being pretty average, but the scene with him and his mom towards the end hit me in the feels pretty hard. That scene brought the movie from a 6/10 to a 7.5/10. Very few scenes connect with me emotionally, so I give this film credit for that scene.

I won't pretend to know about the US but everywhere I've lived people have shunned pretentious pseudo-intelectuals. I wonder if that's what you're refering to here. It's one thing to say something intelligent, another to be a complete douchebag
