Spider-Verse

Did anyone actually enjoy this? It was pages of filler & disappointment that never got any better.
Wish I could get back the hours I've wasted trudging through this slogfest.

Always hated some much wasted fucking potential replaced by shitty edgy writing and terrible characters

Slott only uses his power to annoy
Though the daily strip story was a nice in-joke, and the Mayday story at least implied it was'nt the real MC2 that was affected by this slop, and the Amazing Friends are actually coming back soon in the Deadpool annual

Just like any of Slott's ideas: Good concept, but poorly written and with a rushed ending.

Plus didn't a majority of the characters involved die shortly afterwards with secret wars and everything

>and the Mayday story at least implied it was'nt the real MC2 that was affected by this slop,

He did that at first but then editorial intervened and told DeFalco that it had to be the real one because Slott complained.

We got good art out of it.

>No ongoing Sp//dr weekly
>Erica Henderson still employed

Only the dead can know peace from this rustling.

Honestly, only thing that annoyed me was Silkwank and muh special Bride snowflake. Then again, I'm not Spiderfag so what the hell do I know.

If it had been given to a competant writer, itcould have been great

Spider themed mechs? yawn, how boring
I'll take more Patton tough.

At least we'll get these cool Kotobukiya statues.

Edge of Spider-Verse was kinda fun, that's all I can give it

I liked the Tie-ins. Main comic was shit.

Anyone know what the recommended reading for Flash Venom is? I'm not a huge spiderfag but the character interests me, and I'm sure as shit not going to read Bendis GotG

I was going to make a thread asking the question but this one seems as good a place as any

I literally just googled it, & found the order..
Try it..

I liked the bits with SpOck but that was it, and even then it was only because I had Superior blue balls since Peter had come back and been boring as fuck. If I look at it objectively even SpOck sucked in this.

But the art was nice I guess.

Slott cane as much as he likes, no one will ever accept his garbage.

Spider-Verse gave us Spider-Gwen, and with it a lot of good porn, so I have to at least thank it for that.

Spider-Gwen sucks. She's a boring emo and her comic is boring. The only good thing about her is her costume.

But user, she wears a hoodie!

I would have liked more Aaron Aikman too.

Lady Spider best spider, also doubles as Spider may

What's really busting my balls, and has been for YEARS, is the complete disregard for established episodic characters.
Years ago I was actually decently hyped for Fall of the Hulks/World War Hulks, despite Loen being one of the co-creators, because I imagined it focusing on all the different Gamma-characters Marvel had created over the years, but nah, it was one of the "Everyone is ______" type stories. At least Spider-Verse and Spider-Island did acknowledge second-tier spider characters, but there's still so many peripheral ones that went unused. And in Spider-Verse we didn't even get any symbiotes, because seeing a Spider-Dinosaur die in the background was so much more important.

She's a fake though, literally a normal human with some steampunk spider shit on her back

God, that image makes me rock-fucking-hard.

Aside leopardon, some art, Spider-clones tie in and Spidey 2099 tie in (guest staring fucking Punisher 2099), there's a little to nothing to enjoy.

Confused as fuck and wasted a lot of good characters and story potential. But, I'm used, since Sloth is 90% about hype and 10% work.

>because seeing a Spider-Dinosaur die in the background was so much more important.
And I remember the spider-monkey dyeing 2 times.

Yeah, it really made no sense. They just simply beat the Inheritors after running from them for so long?

hours? you can read this shit in like in 30 min man wtf
