>live on the coast with constant violent storms

>rebuild it from cardboard

Why would anyone do that?

This gon b fun.
I really enjoy american threads

We AmeriCHADS simply have a finer appreciation for the inherent Sisyphean character of life than you eurovirgins

Because rebuilding cardboard is cheaper than rebuilding brick, and tornado doesn't give a fuck whether it's cardboard or brick. It's tearing your shit down regardless.

I suppose a viable alternative would be those poured armed concrete dome house, that are built half underground. Ugly tho. Probably expensive as well.

Fun incoming

Tornadoes wouldn't lift a brick house off the ground mate

It will though. This is what you ignorant euros can't grasp, and it's the reason why we have these retarded threads at least once a week.

Anything F3 or above is going to turn a house into a concrete pad. Period. Doesn't matter if it's made from "cardboard" or brick.

>be amerilard
>110 volts

Will believe it when i see footage of a solid brick house being destroyed by a tornado

>be american
>simply exist
>elicit non-stop (You)s from dumb third worlders who's country i didn't even know existed

Seriously tho, why don't American build more windproof houses?

>Build cradboard house
>gets ripped to shreds by a tornado
>Build brick house
>maybe the roof gets ripped off by the wind

>be american
>get a simple question about world geography
>intense sweating

Of course it wouldn't. It would blow out the windows, then rip off the roof, and then topple the walls. All the while picking up a few choice bricks to drop on property two towns over.

Prove it with footage

Literally just google "brick house tornado" and click on images

Ok

Ummm... Sweetie... Like, maybe... Stop cherrypicking, ok..?

>be american

>complain about being a brainlet

are you really so dense that brick houses being stronger in the face of tornadoes than wood is such a strange concept to you? Even if you lose a section you will very rarely have total structural failure

>Whiskas

But user, can't you see those houses are *completely* annihilated?

It is stronger, it's just not strong enough. And most of those ruins will have to be demolished because you just can't bring that shit back up to code.

you truly are germanic

I don't think you realize how building regulations work.

>single row of bricks
Ahh yes yanks, but notice that all their houses are still standing

>be american

It's like they WANT to be stupid.

>be murrican

It's like they WANT to do it.

Why?

>Fentanyl
What is that? Idk really.

>be american
>election time
>have to choose between a murderous old hag and an infantile bumbling idiot
>those are the best candidates the system could produce
>decide not to vote
>get ridiculed for "throwing away your vote"

And they still think they are the freest country in the world

>be american
>election time
>there are two parties with the same name, but one in greek and second in latin
>other parties not allowed
>both ruled by kikes
>decided to go for a walk instead of visiting elections
>get shot

don't forget
>vote for a third party
>get accused of being an indecisive centrist and throwing away your vote

Doesn't really matter nowadays. Almost anything you would take overseas with you has a switching power supply. I only had a problem with some older game consoles, my Playstation 2 I brought with me on my first stay in the Philippines for example. I ended up in a house with both 110 and 220 at some point though so I was able to use it. When I moved again I used this power regulator thing my gf's computer was hooked up to, it had a 110 output.

Isn't a better idea to build underground? Maybe let something like this pic, but bigger.

>be white american
>go to Detroit
>ded

>build house out of brick in tornado alley
>more expensive to build
>still gets annihilated
>more expensive to rebuild
Also much of the west is in earthquake danger and a quake that wouldn't even make someone get up from their breakfast in a wooden house will completely shake apart brick houses, to the point of many areas explicitly banning brick houses.

That's not true. Blacks just kill each other there. I go there quite often and I've even lived there. In real Detroit not the suburbs.

Reality is more like this

>be white american
>go to Detroit
>watch a hockey game
>eat some coney dogs
>eat Detroit style deep dish pizza
>see a rap concert
>go to my moms house and watch her neighbors threaten each other with guns due to a money dispute

So it's basically real life soap opera.

>be american
>stand up from chair
>ankle disintegrates

Yeah lots of stupid and entertaining things happen on her street. I can sit on the porch and watch the cops bust people passing through all day long. Nobody really bothers you though. Sometimes it feels like you're invisible.

I never understood why they never built buildings made of ferro concrete. I understand that it's better to have pieces of wood rather than bricks flying at you at high speeds, but properly designed ferro concrete structures can survive artillery barrages.

These are old brick houses in Italy after an F4

wtf where's the pic?

trying again

>bricks stand
>cardboard parts blown away

really makes you think

>Roof tiles still on closest ones

>Hyunday Tucson
Exactly where it belongs

kek

It's goi'n to be ghreat!

>Sisyphean
Seeing this word actually being used has cast a ray of light on an otherwise shitty day. Thank you and go forth in the name of Olympus.

It increases GDP

They get a lot of money for the houses from insurance.
