>inb4 people start posting scenes from BLACKED
>I'VE ABANDONED MY DUBS
this movie was a waste of time and money
We are talking about a fantastic movie, not your conception.
is English a second language to you?
i dont see why it was so humiliating when everyone was congratulating him and praising him when it was over.

People forget how good this scene really is because of how much its been memed

the leftovers actors got snubbed.

Goldblum is great here. Too bad we won't see acting like this from BDH or Pratt in JW 2, and that really breaks my heart because I want to see more good performances from BDH especially.
that was like a half foot fall what the fuck
Is she ok?
>Season 2
>pushes Zoe in front of a train
>Season 5
>pushes an old woman down two feet of stairs
>Season 8
>?
>implying any of that is acting
It was the fact the Eli was exerting control over him that he found humiliating
No.
I always thought Carradine was fantastic in this scene:
The opening to this film really did an excellent job introducing the viewers to both the overall tone of the film, and the antagonist. Few actors can match what 'Bane' and 'CIA' were capable of. Real magic on screen.

>Is he smart...
>pushes a kid down the playground slide
that was bad ass
>pushes a man out of a plane
Your sisters cunt
this film has so many underrated beautiful scenes

Does anyone have a definitive answer why CIA thinks his ruse would've worked? It just needs one prisoner to say "I'm still alive" to know he's bluffing on throwing them out.
But not before he shoots him.
But why would he do that?
whoa, careful bud you don't want to make me drink your milkshake :^)

Always tears me up, no matter when i watch it.
That's actually a good point. I'm not sure what CIA was thinking. I guess in the end, it was him who didn't fly so good.
Wow that's some bad acting
For you.
for my fellow pajeets
Yeah, the actor was interviewed once about the memes and he said how much he hates them since he honestly believes it to be his best acting of his career yet all people do when they see it is read the funny subtitles instead and laugh at him
>acting
>film
Legitimate tear jerker
I fucking love this scene and John Cazale. I know this saying gets memed around with Heath Ledger and Paul Walker, but he really did go too soon. Someone that good only making 5 films is a crime.
That really is some fine acting. I feel like I'm prying on someone's meeting rather than watching someone act.
classic
you're an idiot. That's a great scene, but isn't necessarily an example of great acting. It's good, not great.
BAD bait.
I think Leo deserved the Oscar for this scene

Fucking love this whole scene in God Bless America.
He delivers it exactly as he should... a man fucking PISSED OFF with current bullshit in life/TV/radio, speaking to some douche who is obviously a tremendous douche and he's just sick of it all.
I know the film is a bit edgelord in itself but this scene stands out like a sore thumb to me.
I wish I could watch this for the first time again
>about the memes
Which one was the best Hilter's rant parody anyway?
Howard Stern just got put on blast
the irony of it all... truly brilliant work by Nolan only to be surpassed with his latest, Dunkirk. cannot wait
god tier
I always felt that even if The Lost World was an uneven movie it still showcased Spielberg's talent in all scenes big and small. That alone makes it magnitudes better than JP3 or JW1
There are so many amazing scenes from this movie

movie is unbearable. He acts high and mighty when he is working the same job as all the other fuckwads. Reminds me of the 'revelation' moment in Clerks.
lol
Wonderful acting in this movie. One thing that really bothered me about it though was that Matt Damon's character would go to such lengths to get back with Minnie Driver. But holy fuck that Robin Williams performance.

reminds me of this

I absolutely love how his hand shakes when he drinks the water

It's nice to see BDH give a good performance, but unfortunately her best scene in the movie isn't on youtube.
is he , dare i say 'our guy'?
...
I don't know whats happening but she's such a believable woman in a relationship
pride
Love this scene

about as suble as calling him Unless-Jesus-Christ-Had-Died-For-Thee-Thou-Hadst-Been-Damned Barebone
If reddit killing this board, the cure is worse than the disease.
That Tom Kenny in the back?
Love the subtlety of this scene. Just from the performance in De Niro's eyes you can see his decision to kill Morrie, and then realise he could just as easily whack everyone else

I'm normally not as angry about overrought background music but goddamn this one annoyed me. Still great though.
I remember finding this scene heartwarming when I was little and watched this film for the first time. But watching it now, the first thing I thought was, "oh even if he actually is his son, she's probably trying to use Forrest now that she knows she's going to die. she probably wouldn't have ever brought the kid to meet his dad otherwise."
Tfw rewatching one scene after years makes you realize how cynical you've become.
Too good, man, too good
Shit. This hit hard. I'm not even that old and I've been hammered and miserable like this a number of times since I started drinking after years of avoiding it.
This is one of my favorite fucking scenes, man. Good post. It's a shame you don't get to see writing like this in tentpole films these days.
She didnt fly so good
This is the one film I've seen that perfectly captures what loneliness feels like. This clip is admittedly mostly voiceover but I still thought I'd post.
phoenix is one of the best actors of all time
he blinked like 50 times what a load of shit
It's not good acting. He's handsome and has a nice voice. The guy is tailor made by nature to be in acting. Pratt isn't.
the faggot complains about racism no he's not our fucking guy you stupid fuck
what I love about this scene is how you can tell the actors know what's next in the script
>all the black actors looking fed up like 'here comes the bs'
>Dano trying to subdue his excitement
golden age
Why can't I stop laughing
>Over-acting and enunciating is great acting
The self righteousness in this movie
