Yeah, but the main reason they were taken was for them to function as coal and resupply depots, same reason you had/have so many barren rocks in the middle of nowhere.

You all have funny accents

Anyone else dream of a day when /fug/ threads reach the post limit before dying?

thanks for the pic, but I wanna see french slags

Well, France and Germany have the same founding father, and the UK has very long lasting ties to Germany, so I say, lets end this revanchism and old hatred and instead unite as brothers, against all enemies, from without or within.

Is that one of your own pics? you a normie boyo?

benis

>Anyone else dream of a day when /fug/ threads reach the post limit before dying?
'Starting it at three a.m., and without tagging "/fr/ /deutsch/ /brit/"

excellent post

>France and Germany have the same founding father
Jesus?

*forth european power posts in it*

Charlemagne

Sorry Italy, but this is not for you. And I still can't get over you switching sides constantly ...

Thats who I meant! Karl der Große in German.

...

Do krauts care about Clovis at all?

- 100% of people wearing hats. (men, women, children) !
- the occasional horse

>Thank you America
?

Yes, white men can /ug/ me deeper. Oui! Oui! Ja! No homo.

No not really, except if I have a brainfart and Clovis is another name for Charlemagne. But if it is the Clovis that I think of, that reigned around 500, then no.

Interesting
He's considered to be one of the most important historical figures and the first actual french king here

No more brothers wars ;_;

You can always pick a fight.

>Germans
>Invincible

No surprise this was made by a German

To be honest, we learn NOTHING about France in school, except the French Revolution. 90% of history class is HITLER NAZIS HITLER NAZIS HITLER NAZIS... It is really quite a shame.

To be fair, the original says "unüberwindbar", which translates to "insurmountable" or "adamant - which is not quite as pretentious, and could also be interpreted as stubbornly fighting to the death. And at least it says that you are the Kings of the sea.

Noooo, I don't want to, you misunderstood. First World war was the biggest mistake. We should have just negotiated some new borders in Alsace-Lorraine, and call it even.

>Character
germany : follower

>Fashion
english : french. (sic)

>Love
french : war
german : drinking

>Disease
french : syphylis
german : gout
spanish : constipation

Seems pretty accurate.

That really is quite a shame
And I guess you don't really have a commmon ancestor since France started as one tribe that united all the others while Germany was a constellation of tribes with the >>>

we actually learned quite a bit about Louis XIV and French mercantilism and then French revolution, nothing about Clovis, though.

Look what the USA just offered us!
Gift for the 2015 terror attacks.

Tulips, gift from Jeff Koons. Accepted by the Mayor of Paris.
They won't put it in the areas touched by the attacks, but in the rich neighborhoods. "Because it's a universal symbol for all the attacks in France, not just Paris"

>amusement : french : cheating

We have, kind of, in Arminius. He was the first to unite all german tribes, but of course no direct founding father. Friedrich Barbarossa is also widely known, and is said to sit under the Kyffhäuser mountain, with his beard growing through the stone table, and when Germany is in dire need, he will come to save it ... The closest to a father figure would be Bismarck. But no, we don't have a real hero.

In reality, most Germans abhor our history, so nobody gives a fuck about anything anyways.

any qt lads in

(no homo)

lol, fuck the poor, amirite?

(pic is from the USA, it's signed, but not yet done)

Literally me, just a bit older

Yes, also apparently it's steering a huge debate, as the french intelligentsia says that it's an insult, a sort of porno artist responsible for a mourning monument, they want to have the deal cancelled.

wew lad

side note why are you all up so late/early?

Never been gay, might have been cute when younger. You?

I think you hang around the wrong people or never leave your basement and fell for the memes. Plenty of people (men, obviously) still have a keen interest in German history and know about stuff like that. And I'm not talking about neo-nazis or so.

>Barbarossa
We call him Barberousse (Red Beard) :3
Reckon he would do well to wake up right about now... got a bit of work to do

In a sense, it is perfect, though: Have a porno artist do a monument to piss of the goatfuckers

nah not qt
working out though so I can b stronk

They could have just sent some real tulips instead of this ugly thing

Well, the people I meet are only interested in the history between 33 and 45. Sure, most people know a few historical tidbits or figures, but nobody really cares. I come from northern germany though, I guess the south is different.
