This includes immigration from other eu-countries as well. It's by definition immigration if a dane goes to sweden to work, but does that kind of statistic tell anything about anything? Percentage of asylum seekers or for people outside eu would be more interesting.

I assume the term "immigrant" in this context is used for people who reside in a certain country but weren't born in it. The percentages probably run higher if we want to take into consideration the total amount of people of foreign origin i.e. including those holding citizenship of the countries they reside into but have at least one immigrant parent.
