Maidin.

Get Out sucks, why was this film nominated for Best Picture and not Blade Runner

>Blade Runner
Can one watch this without having watched the previous one from however many years ago?

>ocht

Because leftists don't care how good something actually is, their only measurement of art is how much it pushes their chaotic agenda.
It takes place about 30 years after the original so you probably could, but you'd be much better off watching the original first as it's just such a great classic film.

>Get Out
Never ever heard of it. What's it about?

From what I remember it was about rich old white people that kidnapped young healthy black people and got their brains transplanted to the black bodies so they could live longer. It was spammed around a lot during its release, if you ever saw that image of the crying black man that was posted a lot months ago, that's it.

Want a daughter lads

Was in the super market and there were kids being super cute :3

It's fucking great. It's like one of those movies by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, but instead of focusing on comedy, focuses on horror.

...

I have so many questions, but I fear that I don't want to know more about that movie. Just how does something that ridiculous get nominated for Best Picture?

How much does a good pair of contact lenses cost and how would I go about getting them? I want to stop looking like le soy meme.

>Just how does something that ridiculous get nominated for Best Picture?
It was released during massive racial tensions in the US, they took good advantage of that.

I remember seeing a lot of YouTube ads for it.
Seemed sort of interesting but I'm not into movies all the much.

Just wanted to say hi and that I miss yer cunt, that's all, thank you

When I used to wear them, they were €1 per lens

So €60 for a months supply from my optometrist

>TV3 player actually works unlike the RTÉ one
Maybe TV3 isn't so bad...

Fucking kill yourselves you nigger loving scum.

Cute thread!

most boring general tbqh boyos

How much nigger semen have you swallowed today, Sven?

Getting mixed feelings here.

I am not that rude poster, he might be our mentally ill poster who hates anime and people who like it.
He spergs out a lot and then uses proxies to roleplay as other people. It's really weird.

What brings you two here? Was our thread linked somewhere?

>What brings you two here?
I don't know about him but me, just randomly checking out and give my greetings.

>mentally ill poster who hates anime and people who like it
We are two of a kind it seems. Thankfully ours left some time ago, you might still see some complaining but it's nowhere close to how much he used to.

>just randomly checking out
It sounded like you knew that other guy though, no? Are you both from the same general?

More ceol.
youtube.com/watch?v=mKbIVxjl_bo

Our haven't left. According to the "old" posters he has been doing his autism since the start of Sup Forums
>It sounded like you knew that other guy though, no?
I except it to be him since he usually goes to other generals and sperg out. Mainly at german general or finnish where is rude or spam porn.

So much for Scotland winning.

What anime are you watch this season, Swede-kun?

Most of the new ones, what about you?

Wales, Ireland and England to win

Stuck 100 on it

Are they livestreaming the match on it?

>what about you
Franxx primarily, and I've watched the first episode of Yuru Camp and Violet Evergarden.
Need to catch up on the latter, may or may not continue the former.

>gambling
Believe that is a sin.

>Are they livestreaming the match on it
Yes, they have the rights to it after all.

>Franxx primarily
Good serie.
>I've watched the first episode of Yuru Camp
Decent too.
>Violet Evergarden.
This one is excellent and I am really happy it's ongoing.

Hence my confession

>Yes, they have the rights to it after all.
These fucking TV3 ads are insufferable.

>This one is excellent
Your AOTS perhaps?

>ads are bad
Capitalism my friend.

>Your AOTS perhaps?
Yep, without any doubt!

people who like rugby are less irish than those who don't

>can't get the TV3 livestream to catch up with the footage on TV
>plays the same shitty ad every time I refresh the page

>>can't get the TV3 livestream to catch up with the footage on TV
Are you watching both?

>ad between the anthems and kick-off
This is some American Football-tier bullshit.

Yeah, but I don't want to watch it on the TV. But the TV3 Player livestream is a good minute or two behind the TV footage.

>I don't want to watch it on the TV
Why? Does the stream not interrupt the match with ads?

>the TV3 Player livestream is a good minute or two behind the TV footage
What difference does it make really? Are you afraid you'll see a post here spoiling something before you see it?

>Why? Does the stream not interrupt the match with ads?
I want to watch the match in a room where the TV isn't.

>What difference does it make really?
Delayed shitposting potential.

>France win 3/1
Worth a tenner

>TV3 stream is exactly 1 minute and 30 seconds behind reality
How did such an incompetent channel win the rights to the 6 Nations?

Just use an unofficial stream then. I'm sure you could find a good Acestream

There doesn't appear to be any AceStream up.

>Irexit conference is on in Dublin today
Highlights of the insanity: twitter.com/newschambers/status/959740797171175424

Mass deportation of Br*ts when?

>tfw next ck2 campaign is to eliminate anglos from Britain and remove the kingdom of Angland

Think I'm gonna tune into the BBC coverage for the rest of the 6 Nations. This TV3 coverage is shocking.

Read a bit about this earlier. All very cringey.
Saw a good number of cameras in a few photos, don't know why though desu. Why give 400 or so people with fringe views so much attention.
Guess it's a bit of a comical circus though, some entertainment for the rest of us to laugh at.

>This TV3 coverage is shocking
It's quite poor alright.
>BBC coverage
TV3 might be bad desu, but that doesn't warrant taking treasonous actions.

>#Irexit
When are we going to see the end to hashtags being put at the start of everything?
Irexit still sounds awkward to say too. The point of the name Brexit was that it was catchy and rolled off the tongue well.

>A man from Sussex, now living in Ireland, says immigration is why he wants #Irexit. “Are you not an immigrant?” “I don’t regard Ireland as a foreign country.”
The good news is it'll be harder for brits to come here after Brexit.

>Read a bit about this earlier. All very cringey.
The /éire/pol/ thread tonight should be interesting.

>Saw a good number of cameras in a few photos, don't know why though desu
Lot of people taking photos of Farage and John Waters in some of the videos on that Twitter feed.

>TV3 might be bad desu, but that doesn't warrant taking treasonous actions.
But TV3's coverage is so bad that it's treasonous.

>When are we going to see the end to hashtags being put at the start of everything?
We're too far gone to reign in that bullshit unfortunately.

>The good news is it'll be harder for brits to come here after Brexit.
Debatable.

Brexit was obviously a ruse to make people question the sanctity of the EU before they crawl back because it'll wreck their economy.

>Lot of people taking photos of Farage and John Waters in some of the videos on that Twitter feed
I sort of meant TV cameras, I should have specified but maybe that is what you are referring to too. Point is that there is a decent amount of national coverage of the event, or so it seems at least.
Also I didn't know John Waters was one of "them". Thought he was some sort of lefty, but I know almost nothing about him only that people liked him or disliked him a lot for something.

>Why give 400 or so people with fringe views so much attention.
400? That's nothing. We give a good 25-30% of our population much more attention.

>Ronan O'Gara looks like he hasn't slept in 3 days
Isn't he working with a New Zealand team now?

>Point is that there is a decent amount of national coverage of the event, or so it seems at least.
I wonder if it will be on the news this evening?

>Also I didn't know John Waters was one of "them".
John Waters is a fucking weirdo that lives off controversy, so while I didn't know he was involved with the Irexit "movement", it doesn't surprise me in the least.

>Why give 400 or so people with fringe views so much attention
Because it gives plenty of clicks.

>We're too far gone to reign in that bullshit
Surely things will change over time. Twitter can't stay popular forever and slang (if hashtags can be called that) changes all the time. The real worry is that it will probably be replaced with something worse.

>Debatable
Let me dream.

>wonder if it will be on the news this evening
I'd imagine they would mention it briefly at least.
>Isn't he working with a New Zealand team now
Yes, he started with the Crusaders a few weeks ago I believe.

>it gives plenty of clicks
Seems that way alright.
>Twitter can't stay popular forever
Lots of things use hashtags now though, it's become a common way of tagging things.
Used in Discord and Slack I believe, along with symbols such as @ to reference people.

>the French are starting to wrestle control of the game from Ireland

>French are starting to wrestle control of the game from Ireland
All seems fairly even so far, lot of back and forth in terms of momentum.
Munster matches are more entertaining, desu.

STOP FUCKING GIVING AWAY POSSESSION!

>"French aren't going away you know"
They need to stop repeating this.

>"Let's get the thoughts of Ronan O'Gara"
Feel a bit sorry for the rest of the panel, TV3 don't seem to care what they have to say.

>"Let's get the thoughts of Ronan O'Gara"
>mumbles some obvious observations
It's like he's hungover.

Also, these TV3 commentators are way too fucking positive about the Ireland team. This is not a particularly good performance.

>meaningless anime images

>It's like he's hungover
Initially thought he didn't know he was going to be talking or that he didn't have his mic ready.
Who knows what's wrong with him, he's a bit of a shit orator and panellist usually in fairness though.
>these TV3 commentators are way too fucking positive about the Ireland team
Quinlan is also a bit shit, somewhat bearable on Sky but not the greatest.
>This is not a particularly good performance
Maybe they'll break them down in the last fifteen and score three tries like Munster do a lot... or not.

All anime images have meaning.

>Maybe they'll break them down in the last fifteen and score three tries like Munster do a lot
I can't shake the feeling that we're going to lose this one yet.

>"Not high scoring but tt's been incredibly absorbing"
Ara now.

FUCK.

>I can't shake the feeling that we're going to lose this one yet
You just had to say it.

Don't think it was the wrong call by the referee, wasn't much to it.

Drop goal, till be grand.

/tumblingdown/

>french haven't gone away
Stop!

I called it :^) Rugby seems good to bet on as the teams other than Italy and Scotland all have a fair chance of winning so just back the team with the higher odds

tumbling down tumbling down tumbling down

>just back the team with the higher odds
Don't think that's how it works.

I hate France now.

Working so far. Ireland were made to be bigger favourites than they should've been so France was always worth a bet

Is there a possible link between Ireland's loss today and TV3's abysmal coverage?

Ireland actually just won the match. TV3's coverage is so poor that they've accidentally broadcast a match from a parallel universe.

Nevermind, that's a tenner gone but what a way to win

FUCKING GET IN THERE!!!!!

I'm actually speechless.

You got luck this time boys

>Ireland's loss
Told ye we'd get a drop goal. Need to be more positive, we can do anything!

How pissed off do you think the French fans feel right now? It would be one thing losing normally but they had their victory taken from them at the very last second.

Were Ireland actually good today though? That's what I'm wondering. France played well, but they were nowhere near full strength.

>How pissed off do you think the French fans feel right now?
Fuck them.

>Were Ireland actually good today though
I don't know desu, I zoned out for a lot of it. They certainly weren't anywhere near their peak. Weather may have also played a factor and Paris is a hard place to go to.
We have a good Irish team, just a bit rusty we'll get more into it as the Championship goes on.

>Fuck them
Bit unsportsmanlike. This is a great opportunity for schadenfreude I feel.

>pic
Is this uniform a reference to something?

Jesus, this TV3 panel is dire.

>We have a good Irish team, just a bit rusty we'll get more into it as the Championship goes on.
I'm seeing a lot of people say that a much of this almost-loss can be leveled at Schmidt, and I'm inclined to agree. There are few Irish players on the pitch that I could criticise today, but there was no change in strategy after half time even when it had become obvious that France weren't going to down easy.

>Is this uniform a reference to something?
No idea, but I see it a lot on the Kriegsmarine girls.

wp Ireland

>this TV3 panel is dire
Just turned it off. O'Gara can't even answer a simple yes no question.
>this almost-loss can be leveled at Schmidt
>there was no change in strategy after half time
Maybe desu. Is it the general style of play that you dislike from Schmidt? What changes do you think should've been made?
Criticism of Schmidt's style of play has been going on since the horrendous defeat to Argentina at the last RWC.

>Fuck them
On this as well, they were great for the constant booing every time Sexton went to kick.

Merci.

>O'Gara can't even answer a simple yes no question.
"I thought you were going to ask me a different question. Uhhhhh...."

>Is it the general style of play that you dislike from Schmidt?
No. I'm generally supportive of Schmidt as a manager. But it was clear even at half time that things weren't going to plan, yet no changes in strategy were made.

>What changes do you think should've been made?
I'm nowhere near educated enough on rugby strategy and tactics to answer this question. But when a plan clearly isn't working, common sense is to make changes to that plan.

>Criticism of Schmidt's style of play has been going on since the horrendous defeat to Argentina at the last RWC.
Fuck, don't remind me.

>On this as well, they were great for the constant booing every time Sexton went to kick.
As Rugby fans go, French fans are quite uncivilised.

>match was generally shite but there was a GOAT clutch in the last minute
Weird post-match feeling desu. At least the hype train hasn't been derailed on day 1 at least.
