Haven't watched it since I was 4 or 5 (only scene that sticks out in my memory is the opening transformation that made me cry), but am reliably informed it's a very ernest hidden gem in Disney canon, so will pick it up on VHS one of these days

Saw about a year ago, it's a pretty fucking good movie
Has the typical Disney feels to it too

best scene coming through

>so will pick it up on VHS one of these days

>goofy just wants to spend time with his boy but his son is going through his angst phase
such a simple yet powerful concept.

should be called a goofy kino

Pretty much perfect.

gotta
STAND OUT

It's kind of a good return to the George Geef phase of the Goofy character which was arguably his best, where he functioned mostly as a relateable schlub struggling through daily life. During the 80's and 90's Goofy kind of reverted back to his meaningless kid's mascot non-personality used to sell toys. And that's still present in this movie, just much less so.

Reminder that Goofy was of the Greatest Generation and he raised a Boomer.

> TFW name is Max and went to school with a chick named Roxanne

The twist is my father wasn't an idiot, he was an alcoholic

i think roxanne was my first childhood crush

Game theory, what if the idiot Goofy we see in A Goofy Movie was actually George Geef's son grown up

I remember it being really sad when Max makes the selfish decision at the junction.

Absolute father/son kino

Heaviest feel
>I never wanted to go on this stupid trip. I've grown up dad, I have my own life now!
>I know that! I just wanted to be part of it.

Bestest feel
>The perfect cast...

Reddit. I hated it back then (hated the whole Max and Goof series as well) and I still hate it. It was the start of the beginning of the Downfall of Disney. Came around the same time as Quack Pack which was equally repugnant.

It's a great watch now, especially because Disney is so consumed with mother/daughter or independent women stories. Max and Goof's father/son dynamic is lowkey among the most realistic relationships in a Disney movie, and the way it handles Max's fear towards his declining youth and Goof's desire to connect with his son before it's too late has surprisingly mature undertones. Stand Out is also a great tune, this is 10/10 DisneyKino

goofy movie

i cant wait till you go to eternal sleep grandpa

Father/Son relationship kino. It made my dad cry.

meh, do that for most movies that don't have any decent HD masters. feels more authentic.

YO STACY

Goofy as a "human" living his everyday life beats retard goofy who only laughs funny and awkwardly does things.

>Principal tells Goofy that Max will end up in an electric chair after pulling a stunt at school
Was this uncalled for?

talk to me, talk to me, talk to me BABY!

Nah, he had to make a point to get Goofy to straighten out his son.
It was a different time.

It was a different time

>Best road trip movie
>Best father/son movie
>Top tier qts
>All good songs
>Comfy, funny and feels

Really can't top it.

How many cups of sugar does it take to get to the moon?

>mfw my dad bought this for me when I was a kid and was upset it wasn't more like the older Goofy animations
>Didn't even know he had purchased kino
lol

Put me in the screencap

IF WE LISTEN TO EACH OTHERS HEARTS

;_;

>That bimbo stacy chick in the movie.

Are stereotpyes real?

That song that starts with the jangling keys and other random noises is cool.

The kind of movie that never gets made today: Nobody at the studio expects anything special out of it except the people making it.

Significantly better than it had any business being.

Which one?

Comfy movie. My brother and I watched it a shitload.

>Comfy movie.
No, it's a Goofy Movie

was it kino

fucking ANSWER me, Sup Forums

Yes it was

It was a little TOO goofy if you ask me.

Loved it.
Used to watch it repeatedly.

Pure, unadulterated Goofino

Feels like a million years ago I watched it.

Watched this bitch on the Disney channel all the time.

What happened to peg+ pistol?

also, Did Pete beat PJ?

One of my favorite movies. I can watch it over and over.
And that soundtrack. Timeless.

further proof that people who spout "reddit" at things they dont like are the biggest plebs

wow queen you're so beautiful

Best soundtrack.
Best skateboarding scene
Best intro to figuring out you're a depraved fuck with a crush on a cartoon

I love it. It's timeless.

They've been laughin' since I can remember

I absolutely love it, love the second one as well. They were, dare I say it, the best Disney movies of the Renaissance era.
