I don't really know what it means, but I often see it next to 脚 and since most Chinese "words are made up of two characters it seems like it should be added.
It just says "I don't know I don't speak Chinese"
might be confusing because 知道 means "To know" but literally if you break the characters down it means "To know/be aware of the way/road"
