I'm not sure I buy that. After all, they only had a problem with the planet because it has a giant shield around the whole thing. Han could have just had some smugglers tricks to getting into a planetary atmosphere undetected or Finn knows when the massive weapon is powering it renders the FO sensors unreliable from the opposite end of the planet. Instead of having to turn off the shields for Poe just have it require time to ready the X-Wing squadron, giving Finn and Han until they attack to find Rey. Or they still need to plant charges, etc. It's not that hard to come up with something different than what they did.

I actually prefer both. Morrison for the tough and gritty Clones and DBB for everyone else.
Temerua/seilent clones are far superior. DBB clones have an unusual amount of characteristics for an army made completely from one man. I get that ARCs are supposed to be their own armies or whatever but i think they talk too much and thats their liability. Thats why i coukd never put TCW and the movies in the same universe because suddenly in the movie everyone is completely different and you lose the purpose of even making them more human.

It's interesting Legends has Clones as silent and stoic based on their role in AOTC. When ROTS came out that kind of faded. I remember fans were losing their shit that a Clone was getting the name "Cody" and terrified the franchise was turning into Disney. That's when we started seeing personality form for Clones.

Clones, like twins, are genetically identical but they can also be different personality wise. These are not people that suddenly pop into existence but people that are born and raised. Each clone may get a different experience when they learn and complete their training.
And, of course, Jango's DNA was being spread thin, and each clone needed to serve a role in the army. Let it be a pilot, a crew member in a Starship, or a common troop soldier.
I know, it's ironic how everything has turned out in the past decade.

Battle chatter is the best part of the morrison clones. Does every clone have to have different tastes and personality? Thats why i thought the bad batch episodes would have ruined the clones entirely. Theyre super solders with enhanced reflexes and designed to be much more docile. The bad batch nakes them all seem like glorified cannon fodder until an OP character like a jedi or a specialist(s) shows up.

Except the Bad Batch only exist because their genetical deformities are a boon in the battlefield. Had they not been, they would've either been "recycled" by the Kaminoans or put into janitorial duty like 99

Do you think the characterisitcs of the clones should have reflected on the specialty they were trained for or the experiences they recieved? I feel like they should have some similar personality traits from their upbringing like a distrust of anyone who wasn't from the republic or even the jedi. It's very strange seeing them in TCW as outward thinking when in the movies they are way more interesting being a bunch of temeura maori guys with the same armor on. I may not be getting my point across clearly, but something about them in TCW rubs me the wrong way.

By looking at what they had made with bad batch it seemed more like a action movie set up with the bomb guy, the tech expert and the "sarge" archetype. A better example of this is delta squad, who i think they should have just made it about instead considering their roles would have been the same but i love the design choices with helmeted clones to give bad batch its second wind.
With the CGI of yesteryear it seriously looks like an episode on TV now.
Honestly, I liked them having different personalities in TCW because it makes them different and interesting. Them being all stoic and silent would get boring VERY quick. It would literally make them fleshdroids without actual independent thinking and humans don't work that way.

Wouldn't it be more interesting that instead of individuals you had personalities that could be different on company or specialty levels? They had this with the stormtroopers and the scout troopers with the latter being more of jock thrill types instead of silent no nonsense shock troops. Like having different divisions in the army form their own opinion of each other instead of having every individual soldier become fleshed out and humanized with tats and markings.
