Stretcherous and Bombastic team up story, what there is so far:

>It begins with a fight in the Sup Forums floating island hanger fight club. Stretchy powers vs exploding powers.

>We enter in the middle of their match, Stretch has the edge on Bomb in speed and mobility, but Bomb is a fukken tank able to take anything she throws at him and then blow it up in her face. If Bomb could catch her he could win, and if Stretch could actually move him she could win. So it's anyone's match.

>Stretch tries wrapping around him, but he explodes causing Stretch the stretch out and go all wispy, like a flag in the wind, before getting one of her legs around one of his legs from behind and tipping him up, then using the ceiling as leverage to hoist him into the air and drop him out of the ring.

>As part of the fight prize, Stretch is given information about the location of a lab she inquired about. Bomb overhears this and follows her to see if has any clues about his own condition. It pans away from the floating city back down to the surface of the Earth in some rural area.

>Bombastic, being in his huge suit, cannot sneak around properly. He should seem very menacing, like he's holding a grudge for losing the fight, but that's only the impression created by his suit.

>Stretch finally takes notice of him, she immediately thinks he's here for a rematch. While she's jumping around trying to get a better tactical advantage, Bomb keeps trying to talk to her until she finally listens.

>Stretch comments that he should have his mouth visible so others can pick up on his facial ques (she's oblivious to his conditions).

That's where we left off at.

weekly bump.

Why does it have to be like this at the start of every thread?

what are you even expecting?

For someone else from last thread who had things they were talking about to show up in this thread.

It's not helping that Sup Forums has been moving so much faster than it normally does over the past couple weeks, so threads end up all the way down at the bottom in 2 hours.

Let's talk about how Anastasia is basically Naota.

By that I mean a mature kid surrounded by immature adults, with an older female mentor with dyed hair.

>Characters with designs, but no stories

If you mean the writefag who was dicking around with heromachine, that was me, yeah. I made a metric fuckton of new stuff over the week, mostly villains. I have a whole massive copypasta to explain every single character, believe it or not.

I don't know who Naota is.

Strummer probably isn't as mentally deficient as we make her out to be.

...

This one is old, the cover of PORNO thats not going to make it

Actually, you were
>-Heromachine creations and what they can be used in

The characters with designs but no stories was referring to the various bug doodle characters like Chrysalis, Deus Axe, and The Racqueteer to name some of the ones posted last thread.

So what's going on with your new guys?

Does her breastmilk cure cancer or something? Is that why people are always trying to kidnap her?

She gets kidnapped because she's a sidekick.

They just want to rape her. Check the booru for proof.

Are you saying Marian has those eyebrows

Does Sup Forums have its own booru?

The link is in every drawthread, man.

>ever visiting that cancerous place

But it's Casey that has the Vespa.

Rather than go into details, I'll just give some quick trivia/notes:

>Dr. Lycosa's original name was Dr. Trumbo, in a reference to Johnny Got His Gun. However, I didn't think that sounded all that intimidating, so I gave him the name "Lycosa" as a general spider reference.

>Visually, Morgan Hex is my attempt to "cash in" on Sup Forums's goth waifu obsession. I think her current design is a little too Hot-Topic and depending on feedback I might change it. Aside from that, her character is actually pretty solid, I love the whole "ex-con tries to be a superhero" concept. She was originally supposed to be a male character named witchboy but I nixed it when I realized that it would be too close to my boyfriend, so I went with the "goth girl" option instead.

>Akri is a rough Greek translation of "Edge". The character started off as a joke to make the edgiest character possible. In spite of that, the tattoo work was really enjoyable to do.

>Half the fun of making these characters is finding fonts to write their names with.

No clue, really. I can't draw worth a damn and don't really know any artists who I could work with for a proper comic. I've come up with a few storylines involving confrontations between various heroes and villains but nothing concrete.

/r/ Tats and Casey in an alternate world, where this is the soundtrack of their adventure

Oh shit, forgot a huge pastebin explaining all the characters: pastebin.com/GXncGVG8

Would this be Stretcherous second or third story in her "series"?

I imagine she'd begin looking for clues at the hangar fights, catch the attention of the guy who runs them, fight Nosefire, get commissioned for a few more fights with a promised payment of information, which is where we're coming into this at.

...

Some plot ideas I just came up with:

>The New Kid on the Block: Whiz kid Billy Lanzig is just starting his freshman year in Newbank City University. He's also making his debut as the superhero Blue Lightning! After managing to stop a purse-snatcher, he gains the attention of Newbank City Physics Professor John Sakamoto, AKA Accelerator, who decides to give the kid a crash course in superheroics. It's a good time, too, since the nefarious Doctor Lycosa has found his way back to town...

>The Devil Down Under: Upon hearing that the infamous Silver Skulls terrorist organization has been spotted poaching wildlife in western Australia, Bolt Thrower decides to pay the southernmost portion of the Anglosphere a visit. Of course, nothing can prepare him for what sick and twisted scheme Major Mayhem has concocted this time...

>Newbank City Classic: Speed Demon announces that the annual Newbank City Marathon, commonly accepted to be a casual fun-run, will be a no-rules death race with a new prize for the winner- a wish-granting skull made of solid gold! Suddenly, Accelerator finds himself juggling a number of goals- keep the race from destroying the city, and cross the finish line before any of the many unscrupulous competitors- including his rival, Professor Photon!

>Return to Nothing: Nihl has broken free from prison, and embarks on a cross-country killing spree just to send a message: He's coming home again. All the superheroes AND villains of Newbank City are on edge, and when Nihl announces his return by breaking El Fuego's legs, Accelerator decides that the only way of stopping his former friend is to put a team together. But is Blue Lightning ready to handle such a lethal threat? Can Noir find it in herself to confront her brother? Can Bolt Thrower put aside old grudges even temporarily? Is Accelerator even able to face his greatest failure? As the bodies pile up, one question looms above all others: Will anyone even make it out alive?

The race one appeals the most to me.

>Nihl announces his return by breaking El Fuego's legs
Rude.

It's a light-hearted silver-age kind of story, yeah. It's actually based on the Mega-City 5000 arc from Judge Dredd

Don't worry, It would hardly slow her down. I came up with some "Tie-in" Pitches, since Return to Nothing would be a big event.

>Return to Nothing- El Fuego: After Nihl makes a scene out of snapping El Fuego's legs and leaves her on the sidelines to watch the carnage unfold, the scarlet avenger suspects that she's reached rock bottom. Unfortunately for her, it just gets worse as her nemesis, the treacherous Mr. X, decides that now is the time to finish off his hated archrival. Much like the phoenix on her chest, El Fuego will have to rise from the ashes if she wants to survive...

>Return to Nothing- Morgan Hex: Like everyone else in Newbank City, Morgan Hex only has one thing on her mind- surviving Nihl. However, the climate of fear paralyzing the city is perfect for the daemon Akri, who makes the already unsafe streets even more dangerous. Hoping to keep a bad situation from going worse, Morgan sets out once again to banish Akri. But what happens when she goes looking for one killer only to find another?

>Return to Nothing- Blue Lightning: Nihl's return strikes fear into all of Newbank City, but it's at NCU where the terror reaches a fever pitch. When the memorial for the victims of his first rampage is mysteriously vandalized, panic breaks out. The stress of keeping order on campus is almost too much for poor Billy Lanzig to handle. Thankfully, the campus therapist Dr. Jasmine is always there to listen...

>Return to Nothing- Noir: Growing up as a psychic isn't all it's cracked up to be. Wondering what went wrong with her older brother, Noire takes a painful trip down memory road, wondering if those words her brother said to her all those years ago were right. What if it really WAS meant to be like this?

More pitches:

>...To Catch a Thief: El Fuerte is more about bashing other peoples' heads than she is using her own. Of course, when Mister Mystery embarks on a spree of high-profile art heists where he seems to escape in thin air, she finds herself at a severe disadvantage. To help her in her efforts, she enlists Morgan Hex, the quick-witted ex-con who's more than dabbled in the occult. Can the eccentric paranormal specialist and the hot-headed vigilante work together to solve the case, or will Mister Mystery get away once again?

>The Masks We Wear: Antonio Blanco's narcotics operation has found an unlikely new market in the Newbank City art scene. As powerful, dangerous hallucinogens are driving artists mad, Noire decides to go undercover as a dealer and see if she can take the mysterious masked kingpin down. But as the investigation goes on, Noire and Blanco get closer and closer, and both the dark detective and her prey begin to wonder what terrible secrets the other is hiding...

>the treacherous Mr. X

...

...

I'm waiting for someone else to jump in and bounce some ideas off me for where I am in this story.

This is how you get ants.

...

Not while the Lovely Ladybug's on the job!

Briana - Weightlifting
Colette - Gymnastics
Marley - Table Tennis
Shark Lass - Swimming

Colette's not boxing?

Why would she be? Most art has her either tied up or doing fancy moves.

I suppose there's not a bondage event, it's true.

Gymnastics has the ribbon thing, which is why I picked it for her.

Pfft. It's hard not to imagine her deliberately tangling herself up in them. Probably get 10s from the judges just for the novelty of seeing someone manage to execute perfect-form shibari during a twirler routine.

Hummingbird would be good for some of the gymnastic events, too, given her background with it!

Briana can lift like 40 tons, thats one fucking big bar.

DESU I don't see a lot of general interaction or discussion going on. I think confining these threads to the weekends doesn't really work out that well, maybe if someone set up an IRC or Discord or something we could keep creative momentum flowing?

I don't really know too many Sup Forums females beyond our big 3 of Briana, Colette, and Marley. I know there's a lot more so if someone more knowledgeable than me can flesh out events for them be my guest.

If the thread can't make it through the weekend and survive into the week, then there's not enough interest currently with the people who I actually want to talk about these things with.

Taking it off site defeats the purpose of this for me. The only exception is if a writer and/or an artist take a concept and develop it beyond what we can do with it in the threads, that's the only time discussing Sup Forums creations outside of Sup Forums feels like it'd have any purpose.

>Tats - coverage

And by that I mean watching the events with sweaty palms and a dry mouth.

She runs a blog where she scores each Olympian 1-10, though the images attached to the posts are always questionable, and her criteria aren't ever explicitly elaborated.

I think Sup Forumslette would be more of a shot put or javelin type.

We never did go anywhere with that Super Olympics idea from some months back.

Oh well.

Hopefully the thread will actually make it through the night. Sup Forums has been picking up speed around this hour lately for some unknowable reason.

>Here we have Briana winning the gold for the USA with her great... heaving... performance. Such enormous talent. She's very well rounded in her athletic body of work. Huh? Weight lifted? Uh... give me a moment...

>40 tons
I had no idea she was THAT strong.

You know I have a soft spot for sketchy artstyles like this.

What is it with Colette and being tied up?

Can anyone give me a hand fleshing out a character I was thinking about?
It's probably been done somewhere else, but eh, whatever.

Not got a name yet, but for a backstory I figure I'd go for the cliche "superhuman made in a lab" one. Basically, some fuckwit wanted to improve human beings and decided to just try adding extra human genes to what was already there.

The OC then gets tested on for a bit but gets fed up with getting bitched at whenever they leave the lab. So they just run off. Also stole the fuckwit's lab coat. I mean, they have spares, so it's more just out of spite than anything else.

I looked into powers a little and advanced level regen from powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Regenerative_Healing_Factor would probably be most accurate for their power.

For personality, I was hoping for them to be a bit of a dick, irreverent, and sarcastic. (Basically: "I'm pretty much immortal so I don't give a fuck")

So yeah, that's about all I can think of, any ideas?

Well you know, it's like Spider-man. Sure he's super strong, but if you shot him he would still die.

Also I based it on her being able to lift an IAV and throw it, which I figured weighed as much as a subway car. Apparently the Stryker is half that, so it's more like 20 tons.

So we had the "Helix" as a design idea and we still had to decide a location for it. I think pros and cons of underground or underwater prisons where discussed. What sort of spin or interesting quirk would you like to see included ?

Finds themselves bare foot often. Needs new shoes/socks constantly as they are often damaged or uncomfortable soggy with blood. They can deal with the rest of their clothes being wet or blood stained just for gods sake they need comfy footwear.

Need the girls in the USA uniforms.

Underground sounds like the best option I would like to think because it's a secret base they can relocate it and "screw" it back in another location

Drawfags keep drawing that because it's been drawn before.

Where did he pick up sarcasm if he was grown in a lab?

They left the lab a fair amount of times, plus the lab had cable. It wasn't some huge secret government lab, it was some dude with too much grant money. Probably in the guy's basement or something.

If he was grown in a lab, wouldn't that have taken decades for him to reach maturity?

Or was he flash cloned and his brain is that of a child's?

Ehh, I'll say that they were made at roughly the age a kid would hit puberty, to make sure hormones & shit doesn't fuck anything up if the process were to be repeated, in preparation for adapting live DNA rather than creating a new life. Basically making the dude a crash-test dummy for science.
Let's say he spent about a decade, maybe a bit longer, 10-14 years there.

So, he starts off mostly fully gown and just stays that way for over 10 years before he finally gets enough stuff going on in his brain to begin his rebellious phase?

I don't think this is a basement project anymore. This is more like an amoral university's science wing that's gone unsupervised for too long.

Well, you have the "scientist being unsupervised for too long" bit right. Maybe I'll change it to something government sanctioned, but nothing too high up on their radar.
I generally wanted the reaction to the character going missing to be along the lines of "Ah, fuck. At least we got the data we wanted."/"We would send some guys to get him back but it'd be expensive and pointless".

Yeah, that sounds a lot like a university.

Paying to feed & house the dude for years sure as hell doesn't though. But I guess it doesn't have to stick to reality too much.

I disagree. It's hard for people to get in touch for collaborative projects when we're only coming together to meet once a week or so and showcase stuff. Plus, threads naturally move slower than IRC and so people aren't going to really find a response.

The problem with taking it off site is whatever anyone comes up with will be undocumented.

Say you take the conversation to IRC, a group of people then begin discussing whatever character at length. Discussion leads to change. They bring those changes back into the thread as if they had been discussed and agreed upon in the threads and expect everyone to just go with them. There's no evidence or archives of it, no ability to go back and see the logic that built up to these changes, and it comes off as someone just wanting to change a character for no reason. Discussions in those types of chat room places never lead to comic pages, and that's really the only way to make changes stick without the threads turning into a year of shitposting like what happened last time.

...

Straight to the reference folder.

Most excellent reference material!

Porn projects Belong in the /aco/ thread.

Okay. Link me and I'll delete it and go there.

Ah, what would the /coc/ threads be without the weekly "butthurt about Golden Girl" post?

On page 11?

Nice work.

Both on the reference sheet for SQ and also the one for GG.

this is so wrong.

...

So I'm thinking it would be more his style to outsource to this lab Stretch and Bomb are going to raid rather than buy it.

He hired them to study his condition and they made a suit to help stabilize him, it gets stolen by Bomb since it works like his current suit, but looks more human.

If the lab is located in the Chicago area (where ever it is that the Motion plot line takes place at), then Stretch's next adventure is the one where she meets one of Motion's rouges.

Nice.

Isn't keeping track of changes and all what the wiki is for, though? Granted, it's not that great, from what I remember of Project Victory, they had a more organized wiki with better access.

How is the wiki supposed to be updated if the changes are being made in places that no one can see them being made in?

Well given that the google doc can't be accessed without permission, I think we're getting a bit ahead of ourselves right now.

It might be time to retire that doc since whoever was managing it bugged off to who knows where a while ago.

I'm pretty sure I have a copy of all the docs saved somewhere if there' anything anyone wants from them.

I don't even know what's on the docs, the OP doesn't describe them.

I guess my "hot take" here is that no one seems to be on the same page- everyone has their own interests and ideas and projects, but interest in cooperation doesn't seem that high.

I can still see and edit the doc in the OP.

I didn't make the doc though, so I have no way to make it visible to all again.

The doc in the OP is mostly a collection of links leading back to the wiki, they're links that have been group together based on what organization the characters are a part of. Then below that there's a timeline of events in the shared Sup Forumsverse setting.

Below that there's a grouping for the different settings (Ultimate/ co/verse, Bugverse, Motionverse, Golden age /c/verse) which is mostly irrelevant since Sup Forums-verses are mainly determined based on the way a person creating content interprets the setting.

Below that there's a list of locations.

Below that there' Sup Forums settings that aren't part of the shared universes (BQ, Supermoms, Vangaurd, Mainport, fusions, etc.)

Then there's a list of actual comics and where to find them, but that's also outdated and also covered on the wiki on the category page for comics.

Mostly everything on that doc linked in the OP is redundant if you're able to use the wiki.

The much more interesting thing on that doc is a link to another doc for things NOT on the wiki.

And a link to the Sup Forumssmic Sup Forumsverse collection of ideas which are mostly all on the wiki now though.

I can't post either of the links because Sup Forums thinks they're spam.

pastebin.com/BET7K45q

Can't you just pastebin the entire google doc? The wiki is nice, but it doesn't seem to have the grouping and organization that I'm looking for.

Can't, the formatting is way too different in the main doc to just copypaste into pastebin.

I mean look at this. This isn't even all of the first page of it and it's all formatted like this with boxes and tables.

And no, not all of those blue words are links. Only the brighter blue words are links.

Eh, just got permission to view the doc myself, but thanks for trying anyway!

Could you save a copy of the doc and make it public?

Anyone who can view it can import a copy to their google drive and then do whatever they want with it.

...

Appladay had some very weird rumors spread about him at the start of his career.

One of the main drawfags who draws Colette has a slight bondage kink.

Though personally I would like to see Conrad all tied up.

>The Sup Forumslympics team
>Colette on gymnastics
>Conrad on boxing
>Diving Belle on Diving
>Chaptor on the 100 meter dash.

Any other Suggestions?
