Power Discussion

Which power would you choose to survive in the Marvel or DC Universe?

Which power would you choose if bestowed upon you in this universe?

Probably Magi's Spark, if only because the only weakness is "You've gotta put the effort in."

1. is dead shot and one of Butchers powers from worm.
2. Is bascially Hawkman and girl.
3. Would make me over 12 foot. So way to big for a hope of a normal life.
4. Sounds okay except no healing.
5. Pretty meh
6. This is cool

I think 2 or 6 would be the best for either Marvel or DC. Marvel is a bit lower power level which is easier.

In this world I would go with 2.

>survive
If the game is staying alive Seeker is the sensible choice, you can always just leave when you're threatened, go wherever you need to acquire threats of your own and show up when you have them and are good and ready. If your power affects other people as well then you can deal with most mortal opponents by abandoning them in a hostile environment, I assume it affects objects already or you'd have to teleport naked every time.

A Magi's Spark however is the choice if you want to be more of a conqueror than an assassin.

Killer's aim, because it gives me excuse to wear trench coat.

For this world, if I just wanted to be considered a medical marvel and make insane cash as a professional athlete I'd go Lion's Heart. They may ban me from competition though, people wouldn't pay to watch the Juggernaut run a football around unstopped for an hour.

That makes me wonder. Are sports of lesser consequence in comic universes? Unless you have the ability to test genetics/magical ability/hidden super tech, it would be steroids times 1000.

If it was a comic universe, Magi's Spark is the only one that will get you anywhere good.

Seeker, teleportation would be sweet. Wouldn't even need to be a treasure hunter

Unless you are a uber Manlet now, then you would be massive. Like 4 foot aka Dwarf or child tier would be 8 foot which is gigantic. Being a normal 5-6 foot would be unable to fit in cars, as 10-12 feet.

5 would make you a good detective. and detectives do pretty good in DC.
6 on the other hand is perfect for marvel.

Lion's Heart.
It's not like I have enough brains for tactics anyway.

Killer aim, I'm not going to be a hero or a villain but just having a power like that when shit hits the fan would be nice
Some monster canes out of the woodworks and I drop it with a compact pistol

I'm 6'4" 200 lb and lift 1/2/3/4 now. I could sit in the back of trucks and be driven around with my mad dosh.

>12'8"
>600lb
>able to lift 20,000 lb

Too bad you aren't bulletproof. You lose your cool, go on a rampage and the swat team rolls in to mow you down.

Option 2 is the best for this universe honestly. Live a normal life, fit as fuck, fly wherever you want, but normal enough to stay lowkey.

You could make a difference, you could enjoy life. It's all up to you, and your new intelligence sounds good enough to earn whatever degree you'd want.

Magi's Spark for real life and Big Two. If I practice hard enough, I can be a god among men, suited to any job I want to do

But all that training will keep me humble so I won't risk having the regular rabble turn on me

Hawk's Feather.

Later nerds, I'm floating

WHERE'S MY MYSTERY BOX?!

Hawk's Feather doesn't seem to have a downside, so that

Teleportation and precognition (no matter how minor) is OP as fuck

Or #5 if you feel like treasure hunting.

A Dark God's Gift since I'm a hypochondriac

or A Seeker's Curiosity since I'm a hypochondriac

Any superpower can get you money though, as long as you're not handicapped I'd say 20 times dexterity is above /comparable to what the top athletes in the world can achieve, and you're better mentally so you can get straight better jobs/do them better/faster.

dude, your body never recovers. Any cut or scrape or bruise is forever.

That is gross.

It's a lich, with the upsides being no aging and no disease, it's not that bad. Doesn't really help you that much in a Sup Forums universe though, and in the real world it is not even strictly better than nothing, which some of the others are.

That's a good point. I've got a couple of scabs that I really don't want to stick with me through eternity

Probably Seeker. With enough luck, you could get your hands on better gear, which would help with keeping up with the power creep. Maybe Magi if you want to go all out in force.

In real life either Hawk/Seeker. Hawk would be great for looking just a bit better and flight would be neat, though teleportation is way more practical for day to day things.

This.

In all fairness I don't see a downside. If a person woke up one day with that kind of potential, I really don't see how you wouldn't want to learn how to do new things with it. So long as you're careful in practicing, and don't flood your house, or burn down a neighborhood or something.

At what speed does Hawk fly? I'd go with that to avoid my commute, but not if its slower than 60 mph.

I love choice threads.
Part 1/2

Yep, count me in too.

Guys, I love CYOAs as much as the next fa/tg/uy, but I don't think those are really on topic here.

But if they are, I'm totally posting every page of Conduit and the fanfiction I wrote for it, just for good measure.

Here's another superpower themed one

>Might as well post a few more
No, no your really may not.

Do it faggot you won't

Make a decision, cocksucker.

1. why does hawks feather not have a downside. Even without the downsides of the others, its almost already the best.

2. In a DC/Marvel universe changes things up a bit. alot of people are just saying if in our world. A few of those would get you killed in DC/Marvel right quick.
magis is popular, but damn, that shit is low tier in comic book world.
for dc/marvel, seekers is probably best. with killers aim next. Tons of deadshot/bullseyes, etc in comics. and those fuckers always win. and really, since IN a comic world, there are fuckers that need to die, and you need to be able to defend yourself. of course, this power does not mean you will actually HAVE the weapon required to kill your target. no god killing gun, for when Mongul shows up. And of course the power itself, puts you at odds with superheroes. any confrontation with a superhero will make you a supervillian almost instantly, if you are forced to defend yourself with deadly force vs lets say Batman.

so, seeker is clear winner. "may you live in interesting times"
intuition to where things may be. or, more importantly... when to avoid them.
Greatest superpower in DC. "hrm, honey, lets move to Montpelier, Vermont instead of Gotham City or Hub City. yes, I know you considered Star city as well, but trust me. Montpelier."

Full time control + $100 a day is basically anything you could ever possibly need. You basically have free reign to do whatever the fuck you want, so long as it doesn't get you killed.

Feather

Typical Fantasy
Porn/Adventure
Weapon/Dragalong/Village

And we're off to fuck exotic women, eat exotic foods, drink exotic beverages, and hopefully not get killed by exotic things!

Say I pick #5, will I at some point just be a skeleton? Can I accelerate this proces?

you are a nercomancer,
Just lose your flesh and go full lich.

Strange Land

Supernatural adventure

Transport, weapon, compendium so I know what the FUCK is going on
Basically Pathologic

No. 2 for surviving Marvel/DC universes, since it offers the greatest up-front benefit for the least amount of effort. And assuming I don't sprout a big-ass pair of wings, it's one of the easier powers to use discretely.

No. 6 for our universe; I feel like if one were to devote a lifetime to studying physics & biology in addition to training in the use of their magic, they'd eventually figure out how to attain immortality, then just do whatever one feels like from there.

Might as well post the comic few I have.

I'd choose the DC universe (despite being more of a Marvel fan) and I would go with Magi's spark. All you have to do is git gud and you'd be pretty powerful.

Hopefully there would be a possibility of crossover shenanigans because I really want to hang out with Spider-Man.

Super human hottie, no doubt.

>Strange Land
>Porn/Adventure
>Love interest/Home/Weapon

I was torn between Hawk's Feather and Magi's Spark, But then I realised Lion's Heart gives me a foot long cock. Lion's heart it is.

Quick question: how much does Hawk´s Feather increase one´s wits? Are we talking Constantine levels of cunning here? Or is it just a small boost?

Being superhuman sounds miserable desu. The powers make it so you have to live a lie to hide them or deal with the issue of fake friends if it's public. It's even worse with mind control as you soon discover everything everyone you love hates about you. I'd just pick the stuff that makes me pretty great at most things.

>$1000/day - 6
>access Wikipedia mentally - 4
>females want my dick - 4
>Olympian athlete - 1

Just like that, I'm Michael Phelps, James bond, Sherlock Holmes and Watson all in one.

"Hawk's Feather" or "A Magi's Spark". Being able to fly is damn useful, and if I have super strength and healing abilities, that's a pretty good combo.

A Magi's Strength allows me to basically become a god with enough practice. And it simply having telekinesis as one of its powers puts it above almost all others.

I feel like having "A Lion's Heart" will get me into more trouble than I might otherwise.

What happens if I try to choose both A Magi's Spark and A Seeker's Curiosity?

Probably Constantine levels. Flying all on its own isn't very useful compared to the other options.

>4. Sounds okay except no healing.

If you're a master of Necromancy, you don't NEED to heal. Phylacteries are Necromancy 101, and there are Necromancy spells that allow you to grow clones.

If your current body is destroyed you literally just hop into one of your other cloned bodes and go about your business.
