Alright guys, time to decide; which is better

DC TV: Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow

or

Marvel Shows: Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, Daredevil, Jessica Jones

Most of the DC shows are better than everything but Daredevil, but Daredevil alone makes the Marvel shows worth it. Arrow also tanks DC pretty bad.

So Marvel.

Daredevil>>>>>>>>>> JJ>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>everything else

everything sucks but daredevil

I'd have to go with Marvel, but only due to Daredevil.

The rest of the shows are either mediocre (JJ) or shit. But Daredevil is the only series listed i can actually enjoyably rewatch a season and enjoy it.

Daredevil > Jessica Jones > Flash > Gotham > Legends of Tomorrow > Arrow > Supergirl > >Carter > Agents of SHIT

Most of the Dc shows suck or are alright, Flash is the only one that's genuinely good. If you included Constantine I would say Constantine was genuinely good too. Gotham, I gave up half way through the first season. Arrow, they seriously stopped giving a crap about quality and made it a soap opera with a super hero aesthetic
I actually love all the Marvel shows.

I am going to have to agree. The marvel shows are superior quality. The DC shows are fun but have a ton of drama that is neither fun nor interesting. Also felicity. Eww.

Pretty much. Personally wouldn shorten the powergap, due to killgrave.

Daredevil is the best of the bunch, but all the other Marvel TV are disappointing. Overall I'd go with DC.

Now if we include EVERYTHING, then Bixby's Hulk is the best show of all, but still DC had better shows than the Marvel

Felicity>Karen.

Gotham

Poor deluded fool.

> DD s2 ep1-4 > DD s1 > JJ > DD s2 Ep5 onward >> AOS >>> Gotham >>> Flash > Arrow >>>>>>>>>>>> Supergirl

Daredevil
The Flash
Jessica Jones
Agents of SHIELD
Supergirl
Legends of Tomorrow
Agent Carter
Gotham
Arrow

> Woll = Atwell > Dawson > Zurer > Barrcarin > Bennet > Henstridge > Palicki > Wen > Yung > Erin Richards > Pinkett

Put Ritter between Palicki & Wen,
And Rachael Taylor between Bennet & Henstridge.

Felicity turned a decent superhero show into a soap about a hacker. The writers managed to tank viewership and quality by pushing her into the spotlight. I cant understand how anyone could think she is better that anyone.

Gotham is great, Daredevil is best, JJ is tolerable.

I-I think Yung is hot.

Thea > Daisy > Trish > Kara > Karen > Laurel > Sara > Peggy > Bobbi > Selina > Caitlin

n/a Felicity, Old Asian, Electra, Jessica

God tier
Agent Carter, Daredevil, Flash
Ok tier
Supergirl, Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow, Jessica Jones
Unwatchable tier
Arrow, Agents of Shield

How can anyone rate Jessica Jones highly? It was so bad.

objective best coming through

DC has Flash Season 1, the latter half of Supergirl, and Gotham, which is the best cape show ever made.

Marvel only has Daredevil Season 1 that isn't pure shit.

DC wins.

Daredevil
Flash
Gotham
Legends of Tomorrow
Jessica Jones
Agent Carter
Supergirl
Arrow
Agents of Shit

>Jessica Jones
>good

Has Gordon started dressing as the Shadow?

>the latter half of Supergirl

Kek, great memeing my good man

Woll is ugly as fuck

I watched Flash...it's fucking garbage. The dialogue is so poorly written and soooo poorly delivered. I cringed so hard I may have had a small aneurysm. Holy shit, if I never watch that show again, it'll be too soon.

Sorry about your shit taste man.

Gotham > 90's Flash > Batman '66 > iZombie > Wonder Woman '77 > Hulk > Smallville > Isis/Captain Marvel > Daredevil S1 > Flash S1 > Birds of Prey > Supergirl > Flash S2 > Legends of Tomorrow > Everything else > Cow shit > Jessica Jones > Arrow

I swear man. You people are truly missing out on some fun with Agents of SHIELD. Just fight through that first half of the first season. It'll be worth it.

>muh stronk womyn

sorry about your vagina

It was fucking phenomenal.

there's two damning sins Daredevil commits:

Number one is that the dialogue is sophomoric and is delivered in the worst ways possible. People don't talk- they recite speeches like Rorschach's internal monologues at each other.

The second is that the whole thing looks ridiculously cheap. The best comparison is a film student's undergraduate project, or a low budget teleplay- the framing of each individual shot tends to be straight-on, which makes it look like it was shot on a camcorder. The sets are sparse and flat, and I swear I've seen sets that are supposed to be complex. They don't try and build a world with them; they're just places for things to happen in. And the choreography is some of the worst I've seen in anything above a daytime Soap Opera. Everyone knows fights in film are faked, but the ways they're faked in film differs from stage shows.

The best example of this I can give you is Frank's prison fight- whenever he stabs someone, he slides his fingers forwards over the "blade" and bumps them with the butt of his hand. This is common in stage shows because it's easy and you aren't looking too closely, or in movies when it's shot from a proper angle. Daredevil shoots this straight on, so you can see him not stab the other person. This is really poor form, and destroys any illusion that the fight is happening.

It's not just that, though; every punch is from the elbow, people are clearly punched past, and the whole thing generally looks like a bunch of kids playing.

Then there's the hallway fight that people praise, where the Daredevil "actor" over-theatrically plays up being "tired" like a silent movie actor would. If you watch it with the sound off it looks like a Marx Brothers skit, especially when he ducks people's punches and tries to do jumping kicks off the wall.

There's a ton of other problems (the pacing, the so called "comic relief," the costume...) But the blatantly bad filmmaking is something I can't forgive

>Woll is ugly as fuck
This is the most delusional statement in the history of ever.

DC has Gotham, so DC wins easy.

...no it wasn't. Are you just rating it based on the Marvel logo?

It's a piece of shit Lifetime movie stretched out over badly paced episodes. It's by and large the worst cape show in the last 5 years.

...

She's nowhere near maximum potential on the show. In fact the greatest sin of Daredevil is making a natural redhead dye her hair.

this desu

They're all obviously after a target audience who isn't smart enough to be annoyed by how generic stuff looks, how idiotic a lot of the scenes are, how awful most of the characters are. For example, many scenes have characters draw their weapons but, nobody gets hurt or shot. This kind of false drama is a trick bad writers use to escalate tension without actually influencing the story or developing their characters. Netflix goes to this well so often.

They also dislike painting a negative picture of the characters they want you to root for. Probably the best example of this is when Punisher buys a bunch of illegal equipment. The sleazy salesman sees his face. I'm questioning The Punisher's intelligence. Then the truth is revealed: The guy selling the equipment is like "OH BTW I HAVE HORRIBLE ILLEGAL PORNOGRAPHY" and then Punisher is like "yeah I'll kill this guy." Which hides his tracks and ties the scene together too perfectly. I mean, he's a vigilante murderer buying illegal surveillance equipment. Wouldn't he just kill this goon? But Netflix doesn't want him to be unlikable, so they paint this salesman as such a disgusting sleaze that nobody cares when he's killed. Because they're trying to control how you feel about the show, and about Punisher. It's bad television.

But Sup Forums's bad taste brigade loves it. Honestly Punisher will be a perfect choice for Netflix. They want the Hot Topic audience and he's a psychotic killer. But I hate it, and would prefer an Astro City show. Something good.

Daredevil only had half a season that was good, the rest was arrow tier.

Ugly
As
Fuck

I was referring also to at least the Frank parts of DD season 2 (and the latter half was at least decent/mediocre). Agent Carter was also very good, even if it was cancelled.

Stop memeing my man.

I agree with you a bit on the choreography, there were several times that I could tell myself it was obviously fake, but otherwise the fighting scenes were incredible. That's not even just a Daredevil problem, it's a western fight scene problem. But even if it's fake it still looked downright brutal at times, like it was supposed to.

I disagree on the acting side of things. All of the Daredevil actors outside of Woll and Henson are incredible. You can't even fucking try to claim Bernthal's or D'Onofrio's acting was even close to 'sophomoric'. The decapitation scene was brutal and Kingpin came out looking both genuinely trying to do the right thing and a manchild. Bernthal's acting in the trial scene wasn't anywhere close to 'reciting a speech' and you're delusional if you even think that.

Fucking this.

Look at how horrible this looks:
youtube.com/watch?v=B66feInucFY

This is some Super Sentai-teir overracting, yet it's supposed to be "serious." And the fight choreography is miserable.

also
youtube.com/watch?v=5zsVn_vZ9zE
This manages to be even worse because they put the camera right up in everything so you can see how bad the fighting looks. It's like they're proud of it.

Clearly people should just stay out of hallways since that's where every fight takes place. What blows my mind is that the show is apparently shot on location in New York, yet still manages to look like it's shot in a studio warehouse. They need to fire half their creative staff pronto because jesus christ.

>downright brutal
>The decapitation scene was brutal

this alone proves that the primary audience for Daredevil is edgy teenage metalheads

Legends of Tomorrow is basically the TV version of the Suicide Squad movie.

Great characters that are wasted on absolute garbage storytelling.

No, it's street level gang shit. It's Kingpin you fucking utter dumbass, and you're confirmed for never reading Daredevil comics if you think the Kingpin isn't supposed to be killing people in awful ways when they piss him off and Daredevil isn't supposed to be getting visually tired and more beaten up.

I agree with you on the Frank fight, but I thought the Hallway fight was very good. Charlie was not overracting, he looked like he was genuinely fighting while tired. The part where he gets up slowly as they get up and the music just dies down for a few seconds was done very well.

It's not easy to make street level fighting look real but they did the best they could.

I agree the story is sub par but honestly im just happy to see more lesser known heroes get a chance to be seen. Its kind of like Justice League unlimited but live action. I am looking forward to the next season. The only problem I have is they are using mediocre enemies from the other shows.

>there are people in Sup Forums RIGHT NOW who didn't like Jessica Jones
That's pretty baka

Just racists user, ignore them

I really don't see what there was to like about it. Jess and Trish were both vitriolic cunts and stupid as hell but we're supposed to sympathize with them because being a couple of asshole screw ups is supposed to be a sympathetic character trait? Oh and girl power I suppose. They kept stringing along the shit with Purple Man in order to pack in filler with the support group and the other unnecessary and uninteresting and downright boring secondary characters. The fight scenes were fucking AWFUL.

...

Trish is an angel you shut your whore mouth
it did seem to have bad directing though
AoS has underrated cinematography desu

Trish was functionally retarded and bitchy.

Agents of shield should be higher

women

No just Jess and Trish. Karen and Claire and Elektra all have rounded characters with flaws (except possibly for Claire) and are all actually useful. Jess gets a bunch of people killed because of her incompetence and Trish loses every fight she gets in and overall contributes nothing except whining.

Is not fucking worth it.

Gotham=Izombie>Punisher>JJ>DD>Flash>>>>>>>LoT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Arrow

DCTV, mostly because past AoS Season 1, I haven't really watched any of it. Plus, I like Flash and Supergirl.

Marvel.

>all these people rating JJ highly
Season 2 will be fucking awful without Killgrave

>people ignoring the GOATness of Arrow Season 1
Went rapidly downhill after season 1 but, come on now, season 1 was great. Malcolm Merlin as main villain a best

how can other shows even compete

this

Agents of Ward >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Everthing

...

DCTV.
Flash and Gotham are pretty hype. Daredevil was hype but nosedived in S2, basically the opposite of Gotham

Gotham is the only good DC show. DC shows are fucking garbage.

Daredevil and JJ are good.

You may have missed the fact he had multiple stab wounds sewed up. Most likely lost enough blood to hardly stand before fighting those guys right?

With that and the fact this is like Daredevil Year One deal where he is still inexperienced the fight scene is perfect. Its built on DD growing from it as well as showing he is truly the Man Without Fear. The chronological growth of his methodology and equipment to make him Daredevil is another solid staple of S1.

I like how 90's Flash made it into the conversation. Very good but not as good as new Flash. I love the fact that there is homage to the 90's though.

I agree Arrow has definitely been on the decline. But the 2nd season finale is fucking fantastic.

AoS meanwhile has been getting better with each season.

Gotham on average has 1 good episode for every 2-3 bad ones.
The only thing saving Supergirl is the fact that the Berlanti(sp) universe potential tie in storylines even if poorly executed will be a thrill to watch.

Overall DD> Flash > Agent Carter > JJ > AoS >Gotham > LoT > Arrow >Supergirl

Can't wait for Iron Fist. More stoked about it than Luke Cage.

>JJ
>Good

hahahahahhahahahaaaaaaaqa

>daredevil is supposed to be bad on purpose

no. It just sucks.

The fact that you put Jessica Jones above anything shows you don't have two braincells to rub together.

season 4 is going to be trash now, isn't it?

...

>Jessica Jones better than Daredevil
>Gotham better than anything

That's an opinion I don't agree with, but is all cool famalam

Gotham is literally the best cape show ever made. Sorry for your shit taste.

It's at least a little better than any of the DC shows

You have to be extremely, extremely delusional to call Daredevil crappy.

I don't know man, I just couldn't get into it.
But I seriously don't think it is better than DD S1 and most of S2.
It's cool to share opinions

>Gotham
>cape
Please, please, PLEASE stop posting.

to be fair i watched like 3 episodes of it

Not at all

>You have to be extremely, extremely delusional
Or have actually seen it.

Ayy, whatever you say.

AoS > Netflix shows

Nobody's going to say it but let's remember Arrow was fucking GOAT in season two. It was the most hype and love I'd ever seen Sup Forums give a cape show until season one of Flash. Those two seasons of TV are better than anything Marvel has put out so even though Arrow went to total shit and Flash is in decline, I still say DC is better.

Daredevil > Gotham > Jessica Jones > Flash > Agent Carter > Agents of Shield > never watched legends of tomorrow >>>>>>>>> the putrid cessheap that is Arrow

best comic show coming through

how can any other show even compete

Liv > Barry, Daisy, Murdoch all day every day

>JJ

If only you had asked 2 years ago.
Unfortunately Marvel is just barely in the lead

at least we know you have shit taste in fight choreograph

iZombie, AoS and Gotham are the only great comic book shows

Outcast and Lucifer are good though

CW and netflix are shitty

Season 1 Daredevil >Season 1 Gotham
Season 2 Gotham> Season 2 Daredevil
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>everything else
