What the FUCK man? I expected a mediocre Marvel capeshit but got literal capekino. This was the first capeshit that blew me away since Spider-Man 2.

Absolutely amazing.

Spiderman Homecoming was better

That's just because Kurt Russell blinded you with his epicness

It's still capeshit.

I thought it was ok.

Yeah, welcome to Sup Forums. Where the contrarian 16-year-olds add the words "kino" to everything and fail to explain their points. Really if it's popular or beloved, Sup Forums hates it. I don't care for comic book movies honestly, but I do have a major soft spot for the Guardians movies. Hell, even the true expert on "Kino" Mark Kermode loved both films.

no, fag. guardians 2 was way better than that social justice pandering piece of spidershit. nys on the way out.

I don't see how anyone on this board can possibly hate Guardians of the Galaxy. Literally all of the protagonists are white.

fuck off with your capeshit

>The scene where The Chain starts playing
Pretty great

Minorities are just all fake aliens so it's easier to stomach

I mean even if we look at the actors.

Chris Pratt: White
Dave Bautista; White
Zoe Saldana: White
Bradley Cooper: White
Vin Diesel: White
Michael Rooker: White

This is literally Sup Forums's perfect film.

>b-but it's reddit !!!!

Batista, Zaldana and Vin Diesel ain't white

That ending funeral with the lights and the music combined with the story leading up to it was pure kino.

I don't know how you can look at this picture and say "This man isn't white."

Better than the first for so many reasons

You pretty much sound like a complete meme spewing idiot so I'm going to completely ignore your opinion and your shitty thread.

He said himself that he isn't white he's mixed. Look at his nose and compare it to Pratt

"Mixed" is not a race. If you have light skin you're white. Simple as that.

I was really surprised to see a sequel turn out better. That pretty much never happens.

No, that's not how it works. If you are Anglo-Saxon you are white. Nobody else is white.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE KOREAKINO HD PIRATED COPY WHENNNNNNNNNNNNN user WANT MOBIES

Pure europeans are white no one else

Batista is white.

That still leaves Batista and Zaldana

Zoe Saldana is honorary white.

He's part philipino

He's hispanic hence the name Bautista

So is she just a blacked one

looks like a mudshark to me

do you think many people in the theater are still watching this?

How the hell is Bautista a hispanic name? That shit's French.

She really hit that Paycheck spot with getting both into Capeshit spot and Star Trek spot

He's part Flip

I'm gonna flip you over if you don't shut your mouth.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

GotG 2 > Justice League

I didn't even want to go to see this in theaters because I thought it would be a rehash, and I ended up begrudgingly going with friends.

This movie was charming as fuck. James Gunn is a fucking wizard at simultaneously making something funny and legitimately touching at the same time.

Or maybe I just have daddy issues. Who knows. But I loved it.

Nah that's absolutely not french.

>ista
>French

fuck off retard

The fuck? How is it not French?

Both were good. I'm glad marvel started making actual movies with themes and driven by characters

>James Gunn is a fucking wizard at simultaneously making something funny and legitimately touching at the same time.
>look at James Gunn's other credits
>Troma movies, Scooby Doo, something called "James Gunn's PG Porn"
*scratches head*

This movie was perfect to me. It actually made me happy leaving the theater, I loved every character, every action setpiece, every song, the visuals were amazing, the plot interesting. I mean holy shit, there just wasn't anything I disliked. I was worried about how they would portray Ego and they didn't shy away from how weird he is at all. People also dont like the vol 2 soundtrack but I fucking loved it. Instead of run of the mill top charting songs, almost all of them are directly tied to the scenes and emotions in the movie, while being intimate emotional songs in of themselves. Father and Son is amazing once I started listening to it, more meaningful than C-C-C-C-CHERY BOMB which is cool but was only in there because it was cool. I love how all the plot lines tie together in the end for an amazing third act, whereas I get bored at the third act of the first one and the Guardians never really "fight" Ronan. Everything with Ego and Yondu was fantastic. Favorite character was Gamora because she was so cute.

People love the first movie for the character moments, not the paper thin plot. This one has much more of that and an interesting story to tell as well. I love the decision to separate the team after an opening establishing how well they work together. I could go on and on, its got to be my favorite Marvel movie by far. I loved Spider-Man too but it didn't bring me the sheer joy of seeing Stan Lee hanging out with the Watchers

Too many fucking memorable moments for me to name favorites but what I always remember is this scene where Peter jumps out to fight and Wham Bang Shang a Lang starts playing.

>Hell, even the true expert on "Kino" Mark Kermode loved both films
He is usually a fan of comic book movies though.

What about Celtic? Are the Irish and Scottish not white?

You pretty much nailed it. Better soundtrack, better plot (more personal and compelling), better emotional core. Also cooler outfit for Peter. I'm surprised there are critics who find it inferior to the first when it improved upon it in every way. It's quite reassuring to see that even after over a dozen films they're still finding ways to improve instead of just stagnating.

We get it you don't like minorities

Yeah I was surprised too, aside from some cringey forced humor this was a really fun movie. This with SM Homecoming, I gotta say Marvel are killing it this year.

Look at this picture of the cast side by side. Same skin tone across the board. You ever wonder why these films are so great? That's why.

Yeah it wasn't bad

The twist in homecoming was better than the twist in GotG 2 but overall it wasn't better

>Hell, even the true expert on "Kino" Mark Kermode loved both films.

That's just Americans. They're all the same blurred mud people with the same skin tone pretending to be unique snowflakes.

>cooler outfit for Peter
Did I miss a scene where he switched coats or something? Sometimes it was full length and in other scenes he had a waist length jacket. I wasn't sure if there was an explanation for the costume change I missed.

This was significantly worse than the first one in every respect (except for villain)

How?

>watching movies on the small screen
how do you do it bro? tell me your ways

You don’t get more back to the future than this wholehearted embrace of sci-fi and golden oldies nostalgia. No franchise is so gifted at exploiting the popularity of superhero movies while satirizing the genre. “Deadpool” was too over the R-rated top. “Ant-Man” was too small-scale for non-geeks. “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is just right. It’s hyperbolic nonsense wrapped in the colors of a neon rainbow, bouncing from one artfully wacky scenario to the next. Here it’s sleekly futuristic, there it’s older than mud. It’s the galaxy’s silliest thrill show.

what the fuck was going through that retard's brain when he came up with this. I even liked the first one but god damn.

>OMG YOUR DARKEST SECRET LMAO
If you didn't laugh at Batista's amazing laugh then you have no heart.

>Giant Pacman
>literally stole from an Adam Sandler film

tells you all you need to know

he's fine, problem is the adhd fuck "director" that messed with the source material too much.

I... don't think any MCU films are all that close to the source material? That's kind of the point.

no you just have brain damage because by your logic there should be a MCU film about dancing singing cats and that would be a good thing.

by having a $15k home theater room in the basement i built myself nerd

Wow, rude much?

Best. Movie. Ever.
