If Euron is the hinted reason for the WW moving, I bet this will happen.

>At the wight demonstration when Euron asks Jon about the wights
"Can they swim?"
"No"
"Fuck it, I'm going back to Pyke"
He's going to get the Golden Company in Essos for Cersei actually

So next season, the WW are going to fuck with everyone when they beeline to Pyke and they cross the ocean.

hmm doesnt look like circi?

She's the worst character.

can someone please count how many times euron punched a women in the face and make a webm specifically of him punching she cunts in the face

i hope she dies but its so fucking obvious she wont. got sucks after s1

thats not cercy?

Reminder

"A flaming sword above the world" is what Dany's dragons were called by someone in the books, the way she burns someone and they melt matches the effect Lightbringer is supposed to have. She's born amidst salt and smoke (middle of a storm on a volcanic island), red comet shows up around when she gets dragons. Kills her love

Jon's will be the actual metal sword, if he himself isn't a "sword" as per his NW vows with his mother as Nissa Nissa. Dawn is resent at his birth, faggots cred as they stabbed him with the heat from his wounds "smoking". Kills his love or thinks he might as well have

Both are AA

>Euron made a deal with the Night's King
>he has a debt to pay
>the White Walkers are coming after him to repay that debt and thats the reason they're on the move

How do I delete someone else's post

I think George was influenced by how people viewed the world at different historical periods, and so some locations/ people inspired more than one location or person in planetos.

Beyond the wall - The British Isles before or during Roman invasion. Bone chariots probably completely fantasy though.
Thenn - Bronze age northern europe
Ice river clans - Picts

The North - Kingdom of Alba/ Scotland in the middle ages and northern England. The Starks are of course partially inspired by the House of York, but I get a Scottish vibe from the North as a whole. Also some inspirations for the Red Wedding are the Massacre of Glencoe and the Black Dinner, both events from Scottish history.
The Wall - Hadrian's Wall
Not sure about Bear Island or Skagos

The Iron Islands - Denmark during the Viking Age

The Riverlands - The Midlands/ central England

The Vale - Wales (specifically north Wales/ Kingdom of Gwynedd) but also inspired by the Swiss cantons. It's also funny how the Andals, who are clearly based on the various germanic groups who migrated to the British Isles, arrive first in The Vale and are considered the purest/ least mixed with First Men. Whereas in our own history Wales was where the native Britons held out for centuries, and the King Arthur legend originates from there (POTTERY?), also the Welsh name for Snowdonia is Eryri.

The Westerlands - Southern England
Lannisters have the Lion symbol on their banners, famously used by the Plantagenets who ruled England (and both the Yorks and the Lancasters irl)

The Reach - Kingdom of France/ France in the middle ages

The Stormlands - Germany in the middle ages/ Holy Roman Empire (successors)

He took the leaks, then made up bullshit to tie them all together

Look to reddit for the real leaks

...

Dorne - Iberian peninsula and parts of north Africa at various points in the middle ages
Red Mountains - Pyrenees/ Kingdom of Navarre Stony dornish are pre-andal westerosi, Navarre was Basque)
Eastern or coastal Dorne - Southern Spain and Portugal Salty dornish have most rhoynish admixture, people in southern spain tend to have more north african/ moorish admixture. Again the rhoynar were fleeing persecution and death, whereas the Moors came as invaders (more POTTERY?). The Rhoynar were also probably partially inspired by everyone's favourite group of middle easterners.
Dornish desert - North Africa/ parts of the Sahara

I have also been thinking about Essos obviously, and it's even more interesting to me, but that would require several posts. I think George did a really good job bringing more fantastical versions of these places to life, and this post isn't meant to be calling him out as unoriginal or anything like that.

Stormlands is more the Prussian parts of Germany. Fits with the militaristic culture.

Bear Island and Skagos are probably like the islands surrounding Scotland (not 100% but I think the Kingdom of Alban had settlements there).

mostly agree, you missed out dorne though which has a lot of real world influences but interestingly another with Wales when you think of the whole prince of wales and prince of dorne incidences.

no one care about that retard

If I was on Daenerys' war council, I'd advise her to surprise sack the King's Landing using dragons and armies of Tyrells who definitely have a cause to fight after Cersei blew up the Sept of Baelor. I'd also advise her to push the propaganda of Cersei's corruption because there's more than plenty of it.

Dothraki would be sent to Riverlands and Stormlands to do what they do best, plunder valuables. Unsullied and Dornish would then try open invasion of Westerlands backed by the fleets, claiming revenge on the Lannisters.

he has a new video ? I cant see it user...

Are you denying awayforthelads' leaks?

Lmao

Dany is a moron who has been carried all the way to where she is, constantly fucking up and then lucking out or getting bailed out by somebody. She has literally never accomplished anything on her own or due to any sort of merit. At the same time she has only grown into more of a cunt, basically hitting the limit this episode when she asks a fellow ruler who climbed his way from nothing to meet her and then says "and he's got to bend the knee." What the fuck. Wars have been started over less.

As for Sansa she is such a cunt that realistically she would have been beheaded by now. Sansa is genuinely the worst character in GoT at the moment. Last season all she did was bitch at Jon while keeping from him a secret that might have prevented him from losing his whole fucking army in a fight against Ramsay that was pointless, that he was only forced into because Sansa decided to not tell anyone she had a million man army coming behind her. Then this season all she's done is shit talk Jon in front of his guys.

The Orkneys

green-chili.blogspot.nl/2017/03/got-season-7-episode-guide.html

The Free Cities in Essos have multiple inspirations, but I get Renaissance Italy from all of them.
>City-States left over from ancient empire that fell overnight
>All vying for power between one another
>One of them is a massive financial institution which bankrolls multiple kingdoms and financial ventures
>More advanced than other parts of the world but not powerful enough to do shit about it

normies actually disgust me

>that greyscale puss > soup transition

Kino

So the "secret forbidden cure" is just to peel that shit off and apply some salva on the skin beneath? How exactly will that stop it from spreading when amputating body parts doesn't always stop it

Why torture yourself by watching this

had to make a second post because it was too much

yes definitely, but I think each one was inspired by a real life counterpart
Braavos is very similar to Venice, Tyrosh, Pentos, Qohor, etc I'm not as sure

Volantis is heavily based on Constantinople, famed for it's walls, direct continuation of Valyria

It's these kind of videos that were made in the aftermath of the Red Wedding that ruined this show.

i want to see the normies reactions when their fan service boner isn't being polished for once

>that cow with the glasses that's always there

Or you could have the dragons burn the countryside and food stores and accelerate the siege of King's Landing, use the food stores of the Reach as political capital to bring the people to her side, and cause a depletion of moral in the soldiers of Westeros fighting against her: the dragons are real and they are a real threat and they should be feared.

Other than that, your ideas are pretty solid, though I might want to use the Unsullied as a more stabilizing force in the cities.

Braavos is like Venice and Florence had a baby. The Medici bankrolled Europe during the 14th-16th centuries.

Volantis has similarities, but Qarth does too. I think GRRM said Qarth is GoT-Constantinople though.

dany will rule
haters will burn

Maybe it's not guaranteed to always work, like chemo doesn't always cure cancer. This, plus the risk of the wounds getting infected, the subject just dying from the pain or the one treating him getting infected with greyscale probably makes the procedure too risky for most to want to attempt.

>that translation is wrong your grace
This fucking retcon got me so mad. It just reeks of pandering.

>He's going to get the Golden Company in Essos for Cersei actually
>implying he isn't just going to fuck off somewhere warm and tropical with her gold and ships

Daenarys is a terrible ruler.
Sansa's arc can only go up. She won't even have to marry to get the throne. She will be a single ruler like Elizabeth I. Sansa and Elisabeth both are daughters of traitors and both seemed unlikely to become queen at the age of 17.
George RR Martin said his main inspiration was the Wars of the Roses. Nobody would have bet on the Tudors, but they won.

>cheering at grey worm sex scene
>three guys take a shot when they kiss
>leader in the middle crying

what is this seriously?

It's from the books, just not explained in such a shoehorned way.

Sansa is fucking useless.

I'm taking a wild guess, but I think it's "forbidden" because of the chance of transmission to others.
They said they guy that wrote the procedure died from grayscale - they didn't say whether he had it before or after starting his research.

Remove infected skin --> don't properly handle it --> you now have grayscale

I have no evidence to back up any of this.

Murdering anyone and destroying everything you can without trial, based on paranoia that you will lose your throne, which you have no legal claim to, and you keep for no reason at all except that you want it, is mad behavior.

trips and game of thrones is a simulation.

Screencap this lads.

It's basic debridement of infected tissue and then application of a topical antibiotic to the underlying epidermis to sterilize and treat the infection at the source.

You basically do the same thing with abscesses where you make an incision, drain it, sterilize the wound, pack it to prevent it from filling up again, continue to sterilize it and let it heal, and then close up the incision after healing.

Hypothetically, greyscale seems to spread predominantly throughout the dermis until it takes over completely turning a person into a stone man. After that the disease turns inwards where it attacks the brain and destroys the targets higher functions.

Basically, it's like Syphillis, Herpes Zoster, and Harlequin-type icthyosis combined and formed a really fucked up stone baby.

Just assume that the salve is antibacterial (most likely antiviral based on the similarities to existing conditions), and that it treats the illness.

Basically, Sam is cutting off infected tissue and then applying a topical antimicrobial to the underlying tissue to treat the illness.

tl;dr, cut off plates = treat the symptoms
use salve = treat the cause

Daenerys behaves like that because she believes that Targaryens are rightful rulers of the Seven kingdoms, of all Seven kingdoms. And foolishly expects that lords of the realm will see in her someone who should rule over them instead of remnant of a bad monarchy that only due to dragons managed to rule over 7k for 300 years.

Targaryens were overall bad rulers. There were worse kings than Aerys perhaps, but they had dragons. In the time of Aerys, Targaryens weren't the richest - or the most powerful anymore. Dragons were extinct and those huge weapons of war allowed them to rebel very soon. Problem with the generations in Westeros is that they grew up under Targaryen rule and unified realm, taking them for granted in a way, High Valyrian rulers with all their bullshit. But in time of Tywin's or Olenna's grandfathers or their grandfathers, memory of Aegon's conquest was much more fresh in a way, differences evident and they had no choice but to obey the dragon. They never, however, forgot that they were kings of their own kingdoms once and that names of Lannister, Stark, Gardener, Martell etc. meant something more.

Only thing that Daenerys has going for her is that she's a foreigner because native Houses won't tolerate for long having to be governed by their equal. Lion over wolf, stag..rose? Dragon made it tolerable, as long as dragons were around at least. But Aerys was neither tolerable or a dragon and they were getting weak. As far as the most people in Westeros are concerned, they don't want her or need her there

Maesters are self-important fags who have repeatedly explained that they would rather the seven kingdoms burn than risk the life of any of their own, or any of their knowledge. It's forbidden because it killed an important maester, and maesters are considered priceless to them.

Why aren't you supposed to pop cysts or abscesses on your own?

>Targaryens were overall bad rulers.
No. They were alright.

remember when GoT stuff was kept to a single thread or all threads were deleted?

that was nice

Can we go back to that?

Very insightful, thank you.

You're in a land you literally have not been in since you ere a babby.
The brunt of your forces are barbarians and eunuch foreigners, who you cannot openly use because it will cause people to reject you on nationalism alone.
Your entire bloodline is fucking hated.
You're trying to reclaim the kingdom and do it in a way that people will accept you.
You need allies.

Why would you then demand that a FELLOW RULER, who you never met before, who rules over an ancient, proud, great Westerosi power, who you want to ally with and are extending an invitation to, be made to bend the knee before you've even met him? It's fucking retarded. That's the heart of the matter. Forget Targaryen history and whatever, it's just common fucking sense, you don't deal that way.

Your slave supporting ways are over, Sup Forums. I stand with the one true queen and the only one with a rightful claim to the Iron Throne since Stannis Baratheon passed away. She is the true savior of Westeros and the Lord of Light smiles upon her. Bow down to your queen or else face the fires of her dragons. The new Stormborn dynasty will bring order back to that gods forsaken land you call a home. Slavers should be executed for their sins upon the Lord of Light and humanity.

Daenerys now has the Lord of Light on her side.

Though some Targaryen reigns were better than others, and some even 'good', each and every one of them was aloof and highly detached from any of the Kingdoms, and had always completely occupied themselves with their own separate pet projects, which were usually attempts at immortality that caused either mass destruction or their own death. Even the 'good' ones die helplessly clueless or are murdered by one of their crazier family members.

I cant even explain the hate I have for these people. What is it about them that makes me hate them so much does anyone have an idea ?

you're wise man user

azor ahai has many candidates and influences from the original azor ahai the bloodstone emperor.
things to take note of are flaming swords, celestial objects, the colour black, blood betrayal and the usurping of power.

jons dream he is armoured in black, has a flaming sword, atop the wall as close as one can be towards celestial objects, beheads rob and yells out that he's the lord of winterfell.

dany and drogo refer to eachother as sun, moon and stars, black dragon black fire and the reference that dragons are flaming swords, kills drogo and viserys and takes both of their positions of power.

beric now has black blood, a flaming sword, black cloak covered in stars, no blood betrayal or usurping of power.

dany in the books is azor ahai who causes the long night when she blows the hell horn as she's the only person who can blow it three times without burning to death. red comet will pierce the moon and out of it will pour fourth a thousand dragons. a storm of swords will strike planetos and the sun will be blocked out from the wreckage. drinking the suns fire.

jon is the sword of the morning who will lead men through the long night and will wield dawn.

jaime is the lord of light armoured like the sun as bran sees him. the story of forging light bringer is jaime shedding the kingslayer persona and become jaime again. a loyal and true sworn sword.

young griff is the prince that was promised who'll restore the targaryen dynasty and be loved by the common folk and nobility alike.

but yea humans have been referenced as swords, dragons have been referenced as flaming swords and so has the hightower.

bran is the great other and jaime is the lord of light.

the story doreah tells dany about the origin of dragons and the once second moon is the story of the last cause of the long night.

She's not the naive girl she was. She's aware of the game and she learned a lot from Cersei and Little Finger.
Technically she has support in three kingdoms now: The North, the Vale and the Riverlands.

House Velaryon is the only Valryian house except Targaryens in Westeros. They supported Stannis, but I'd expect at least to see some of their members joining Daenerys at Dragonstone. It wouldn't hurt if they had a scene in TV show of some people other than 5-6 characters at her 'court', its kinda silly that only handful of them occupy the castle without any support. Where is that scenography from first 3 seasons??

(but then again, Olenna seems to be the only surviving Reachwoman in existence, god forbid they had someone else on the side to represent her kingdom)

>Sansa knows how to play muh game
Yeah yeah you keep saying that but what's she all about anyways? She's just a regular lord, she doesn't want anything but a unified North and to live in her family's castle.

I want to see her VAGINA

I just want to eat her ass tbhwy

I really really want her to go insane and become the Mad Queen, torching Jon Snow when he refuses to bend the knee.

>mfw Sam fucks up disposing the scales and brings a psoriagris pandemia on the citadel

Jon has plot armor on the level of Batman, if you need one character to bet your house on to survive it's him

Just like Stannis did?

Or Arya, even better. Audience would want to murder her

Yeah, its too bad

The lord of the light is the bad guy. Sandor is right fearing the fire, fire is evil.

But Jon = Elizabeth of York ad Dany = Henry VII

And why does tumblr always ignore the fact Ran is heir and alive

Would also count Euron to this.

Daenerys, heartbroken and defeated because her dragon died, tries to resurrect him with the help of Melisandre. Finally convinced Daenerys is Azor Ahai, Melly suggests that Jon Snow and Davos be sacrificed to the Lord of Light, but also adds Podrick and Brienne to the pyre. As Jon screams in agony and is seen dying, Daenerys smirks and episode ends.

Cersei's a fuck up and a terribe ruler.

Littlefinger has no loyalty and didn't teach her a damn thing that isn't obvious, "good girl the hidden dagger is more dangerous, good girl keep people confused"

And neither one knows how to rue without fear or money.

Plus the Riverlands don't support yer, Vale is behind Petyr in books and show, North is backing Jon and explicitly skipped her

lord of light isn't rhllor. they just became know as the same entity over time. it's practitioners can be viewed as evil but I doubt the religion started that way and became it over time.

my guess is it's a bastardisation of the first mens fertility worship before adopting weirwood worship.

light, life, warmth, sacred temple prostitutes, sex held in such a high esteem etc. reminds me of garth and the lords who'd offer their children and beg garth to fuck em.

Euron has better. He has the support of Baratheon bannermen.

Fake overreactions are never pleasant to witness, especially when they're overdoing it knowing full well they're on youtube.

When the Wall falls and The War begins there is no queens or kings to rule...

I mean that Dany is ded and Jon goes to Lands of Always Winter to be new NK.

yea no doubt. would love to find his influences in regards to the bloodstone emperor ( original azor ahai who caused the long night )

it's been theorised that dragonbinder ( it's other name is hellhorn ) doesn't actually bind winged dragons but people. I think it was preston not sure who theorised blowing the hellhorn once helped sway people to his side during the kingsmoot.

but would be nice if having daenerys blow the hell horn three times binds her to his will as a slave / thrall and in doing so she causes the long night or the celestial event that causes the long night.

that the dragon it binds isn't the winged creature but daenerys herself.

Good post

>She's just a regular lord, she doesn't want anything but a unified North and to live in her family's castle.
She disagrees with her brother's decisions, has even confronted him publicly twice(and a majority of lords agreed with her). She is super paranoid about Cersei and thinks she would try to attack them. There's still a civil war going on even though they don't show much of it in the show.
She was there when her father was injustly beheaded.

There's no way she thinks staying hidden in that castle is enough.
She started as a naive girl who only wanted to give lots of babies to Joffrey. She changed a lot since and she is still evolving. I'm sure she will play a greater role in the future.

Well, you could just start peeling it off before it spreads to your entire body, although I guess most Maesters would just amputate at that point which is probably the better choice for recovery

Brought back memories of when I was 14 and fell off my motorcycle, local """doctor""" spent like an hour digging out gravel impaled in my back, not a fun experience

Sansa is going to kick Jon Snow out because she disagrees with how he runs things.
The North will back a real stark over a bastard.
Snow will kiss Daenerys ass for "the greater good" independent of Sansa. When the wall comes down, the North is gonna get fucked until Snow and the Dragons show up

>yfw Sansa bends the knee to King Euron and Queen Cersei

BASED

the episode that saved GOT

This is a theory I've had for a couple of seasons now, it's basically like those shitty jumpscare horror flicks. People know exactly what's going to happen, they're just waiting for the inevitable spook which is the sole reason you watch the movie

The show is all about the CUHRAZY reveals and action moments which generate jazz hands, trending hashtags and first page twitter posts, meanwhile all the shit inbetween and the build up to the big moment is whatever

Compare Season 3 and Season 4 ratings, this style of writing works wonders for viewership

The fact that they're fake as fuck, artificial fake-happy personalities and reactions constructed to appeal to established status quo

Does anyone know where I can watch the episode, I'm paid for HBO for four years but it's not worth it anymore, however I am still sort of interested.
