Why do people dislike Dutch so much?
If a humble toothpaste may ask?

a lot of your sounds are pronounced like you're coughing or choking or something, which doesn't sound pleasant to most people

I don't dislike Dutch but it's similar to English and that annoys me

Dutch doesn't sound neither like German nor English. You'll notice that when Dutchmen speak English, they tend to make a soft 'sh' sound in place of the S that's unique to them. Just watch Goldmember.

In the vocab department. Some words resemble english ones a lot but mean slightly different things.

Stop lewding my language.

Danish, Arabic and negro languages are probably the worst sounding.

Best sounding would be in my opinion, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Icelandic

Well i do not believe that Goldmember is a great example of Dutch pronunciation

wrong

it's funny only cause it's true tho

Wat Dit jou Shhay about me jou little Bitshhh

I dislike languages that have an S that sounds almost like SH, but they tend to be accents, not languages.

European Spanish (or at least the one in the north), European Portuguese, and Dutch, do that.

I like Brazilian Portuguese.
