What's this from?

Here by Richard McGuire

...

Theres an entire silent issue of Tomasi's Batman and Robin after Damian died that is amazing. I have a physical copy but it was hard to get cause it sold out everywhere.

this looks interesting, where is from?

It is

“Frogs!” in Comixscene #3 (1973) by Jim Steranko.

that's all

...

This was the result of some kind of printing error.

...

where can I download this?

...

There is an iTunes release of it and that is it for digital.

Haven't found a torrent or a scan of it anywhere either.

More Steranko. He was good at this sorta thing.

"Nuff' Said" month was great

part 3 fucking never

My favorite part is that it was censored for being too suggestive.
>As Steranko recalled, “One panel also showed a telephone that was off the hook. They considered it suggestive, and put it back on. Now, every time I pass a phone that’s off the hook, I get horny!”
>“They reproduced Fury’s holster slung over a chair, which was much more suggestive: a big gun fitting very tightly in a holster, which was a sexual metaphor much more potent than my figures.”

It is probably true

...

...

Someone should storytime that Batman and Robin issue from when Damian died.

What's suggestive about a phone off the hook

wtf

The only thing I can think of is that they're bangin and dont want interruptions

So much better than the original chapter.

Pretty recent, but I still think this was a good page.

this was actually one of my favorite things about transmet. several spots where ellis just knew when to keep dialogue off a page

I always thought it would be great to have a series where the entire thing was silent. Characters would be having conversations but we just wouldn't be able to read what they're saying. Our only interpretation of the story would be by trying to read their facial expressions and draw some form of context from the actions. An entire run of comics like this and then watch the fans fight over interpretations.

Not even establishing who the heroes and who the villains are just have the story changing points of view from different characters and letting the readers make their own conclusions about who they are, what they're talking about, and what their motivations are.

Yeah.

fuckin aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa plus

The monkeys paw grants your wish but it's drawn by Steve Dillon when he's overworked and has a week to draw it.
