Dumb Ideas Thread

Everyone post your stupid ideas for shows/films/etc. Other people rate the ideas. If you're gonna post an idea try and rate others.

>Everyone is Miserable, Especially the Germans.
>film
>Romance about a depressed man in the nazi fetishism community who falls in love with a girl at one of his meet ups only to discover she is actually a nazi.

Batmartha V Supermartha

Horrible title but might work

>man is a neurotic Jew involved in the Nazi fetishist community (hilarious!)
>girl sees him leaving somewhere wearing a full SS uniform (Oy vey it was laundry day!)
>she thinks he looks cute
>he assumes she is also a Nazi fetishist
>turns out she's an honest to God National Socialist
>Hilarity ensues

OP here with a second shitty idea

>Watergate
>Comedy about a kid who believes he is the reincarnation of Richard Nixon running for student body president of Watergate highschool. Told in a found footage style of secret records done by the main character during the election, plus records, still, and dramatizations done by the main character and his chinese friend in various costumes.

A Stargate prequel about the young daughter of the professor who discovered the Stargate in the 1920s and have....

>Comedy about an immortal warlord fighting across the time

Op with one last idea:

>One Door Down
>TV show
>Depressed guy finds out his female neighbor is a serial killer who brings men back to her apartment before murdering them, and begins to target her in an attempt to get her to murder him.

Why does he want her to kill him? What's his motivation?

Ye Olde Final Destination

1. King Arthur and Merlin and the knights return from the modern world, and take on the modern establishment.

Mordred fights for control aswell. Magic Vs the modern world. Some scenes..

>Mordred and the Formorians (giants) destroy London. Decimating the modern armies. Satalites are rendered pointless due to the summoning of storms, lighting from storms knocks out any plane/drone/helicopter. Merlin and Arthur arrive to stop Mordred, but only to challenge his power, not to save the modern people.

>Mordred takes over London, Merlin causes an earthquake and shatters the city in a 'If i can't have it, no one can'. Many people die, modern people just record the event from a camera perspective, like cloverfield? (still not decided on this) A group organize a peaceful protest to protest Mordreds occupation of London. The giants crush them, and the women are taken as slaves.

>Knights are immune to modern weapons, due to them being enchanted, magical abilites go up against modern technology.

>Arthur and Merlin are disgusted by the modern world, and the religions that answer no questions

If you want to get a feel for the settling, play king arthur, the artwork, the sidhe, and the units is the vision that i like.

>from the modern world
should be to the..

Depression.

i would watch the SHIT out of this

alright hear me out hear me out....

2001 remake... gender swapped. Monkeys too.

Depends, who is playing the zombie whose tits are being fondled?

Also, the modern world has magicians of it's own, due to the opening of a portal between the 'spirit' world and the modern world, rare people in the modern world have their magical abilites awakened, and they start to fight back against the old world and mordreds legions.

go on...

A sequel to ROTJ
>Three decades after the Empire's defeat, a new threat arises in the militant First Order. Stormtrooper defector Finn and spare parts scavenger Rey are caught up in the Resistance's search for the missing Luke Skywalker.

“The Vintner”

After getting horribly drunk on a radical new brew he made, a homebrewer ends up in the distant past (3,000 B.C.E.) and must time travel through various times to return to his own time.

Like Sliders and Quantum Leap mixed in a bottle, where the “hero” must get completely passed out drunk in order to advance to the next era in civilization. It will not work with the same brew twice. He must make a new brew that does not exist in that era for it to work. He becomes responsible for many of the more famous/staple brews in civilization. General exploits follow each episode in trying to create a new brew in that era with ingredients in whatever random location and time he ends up in. His drunken time traveling leaves him hung over and with a fuzzy memory between his time traveling trips. The story line focuses heavily on solving other people’s problems through alcohol and knowledge he attained when not hung over and asleep during college lectures.

Possible Endings:

1: He finally makes it back to his time, only to get drunk at a party after mixing up a new drink out of habit and ends up passed out, on a busy highway, while hover cars zoom just inches over him. That being the last scene of the last episode.

2: ? never got further

Day of the lebrechaun

Ireland somehow wages a war on the rest of the planet and wins. It's abit like planet of the apes but plenty of father ted style humour

2. Due to global warfare, government are in desperate need of a technological advantage. No AI is advanced enough, they need a human mind that they can control to be the 'computer', they pass this off as an AI, and start to win the war. They start to search for a human mind that's compatible for them to control, they finally find one in some guy due to making it mandortory to get your mind scanned for health insurance reasons. They kidnap the guy, and put his mind into an machine, and fake his death. The 'AI' starts to build machines, and the tide of the war turns. The 'AI' is eventually used by the elite to police, and in everyday life. But remnents of the mans personality begins to leak through, manifesting itself in design decisions, machines trying to kill those responsible and making it look like an accident, and trying to tell members of the public.

The elites try to shut it down, and an all out war begins against this rogue 'AI' as the mans memories come back to him.

this seems pretty funny, actually. if HBO took it up and had Larry David write it, and maybe Jason Alexander star in it, it would be GOAT. however, it sounds more like a show comedy central would pick up, have a few good first episodes, maybe a competent first season with not a lot of rewatchability, but turn to absolute shit after the 1st season, kinda like that show they ran a while ago, i think called drunk history that was a pretty good premise (getting historians drunk and trying to confuse them while theyre explaining historical events then taking their interviews, writing a script around it and then filming) but with terrible execution.

>mockumentary
>about a TV show pranking the president on April 1st during fake alien landing

interesting

>not a lot of rewatchability

Very true. Much like "The Man from Earth" in that respect.

Would watch.

Interesting suicide.

>1970's
>Quebec declares secession from Canada as a socialist state backed by the USSR
>Representatives from the US, USSR, Canada, and Quebec desperately try to find a solution that will prevent WW3 in an Ottawa hotel

Five people are a criminal organization which operates in the city, however each person inhabits a different world that represents visual metaphors and themes to describe each characters goals and situation (eg.one city would be in ruins to represent the characters state of mind, one would be separated by islands) the five people don't particularly like each other but are forced to work together to complete their goal of escaping the city (they are unable to do so for reasons, like their own world does not possess an exit or something like that)
As the story progresses it's revealed that the characters have special meta powers that allow them to manipulate the world around them and begin to understand the narrative elements surrounding them and by extension the other characters.
Each character has their own story and criminal activities to focus on for the most part
Also they have cool aliases
Just a basic premise

remake every profitable movie in history with women/fags/niggers as the leads.
