They were never going to be big sellers. But I think it's a mix of both. We don't start getting into the standard Marvel books until the 40's
Noah Bennett
77 and 78 are around the 30,000 mark. That's still way more then the usual Scooby books do. It's a shame but comic fans were never going to give Flintstones a chance

>Marvel only has 3 titles in the top 25 >one of those is Star Wars and even that is only at 23 That's what I call a fucking raping and a half.
Maybe the Marvel heads will see that people are sick of their fucking stupid WORLD CHANGING events.
Jordan Fisher
Fuck Didio. Motherfucker gave false hope of Prez second term.
Nathaniel Hughes
Civil War II is one the biggest mistakes Marvel ever did. Especially its timing couldn't have been worse
Brody Rodriguez
Will these even need that big numbers to keep going anyway? Surely DC never really expected them to do consistently huge numbers. If they could stay about 25-30K by issue 8 I'd say they'd be super pleased.
But it has the same name as the recent popular movie, is a sequel to an event that Marvel readers absolutely love and comes only 6 months after the last line wide months long event. I can't possibly imagine why it's doing so poorly....
Leo Moore
The shit sequel to a shit but monumental event sees readers and retailers flocking away despite those fucking advertised big deaths.
Austin Wright
Doesn't help that it's been delayed. At least, I hope it doesn't help that the main event book has been delayed by a month.
It may be event fatigue finally settling in. It only took a couple of decades.
Colton Bennett
She hasn't appeared yet but the announcement alone probably killed the hype for this book.
Henry Harris

Marvel? No idea. DC? Probably the most recent event.
Christopher Hernandez
Damifag is sure up early today.
Leo Ross

Wyatt Rogers
wait, what's going on with Detective Comics? I didn't follow that book at all
Camden Cruz
>When was the last major event that wasn't delayed? Age of Ultron?
Ian Wilson
I honestly thought that 'Tec will do better than this and Action Comics fall really hard.
Green Lanterns, Aquaman and Green Arrow are stable and Red Hood did better than I thought (not suprised tho because it was really good issue). Batgirl and Batgirl & BoP sales were expected.
Wonder Woman #2 did better than Superman and #3 did worse. I actually wonder if fans are getting tired with the slow pace of WW and if the change in artists will hurt Superman.
Overall, July was a good for DC.

Really curious how these two books will compare to each other in a few months, it'd be cool if they both settle in the top 30 or 40
Xavier White
>she is in 943 and is a part of tec. The fuck are you talking about? Since Rebirth Tec has been Batman, Kate, Tim, Cass, Steph and Clayface. Harper hasn't been in the book at all and has only been mentioned once in passing.
I'd like to think he gave it his all to keep it and gave Flintstones as consolation.
Carson Allen

Holy fuck, how often does a Spiderman book sell this poorly?
Robert Harris
It didn't sell poorly though. DC just had so many extremely high selling books that it pushed it down. It's still Marvel's highest selling non-event, non-Star Wars book.
Adam Jackson
No, it sold poorly. I guarantee you if when Marvel does it's annually relaunch, Batman is probably still gonna be in the top 10 or at least the top 15.
Spider-Man is Marvel's Batman. It's their one property that never fails.
That's good for a mid-range title, not so good for the main Spider-Man title
Charles Martinez
Yep, all signs point to yes
>Tec #939 has Tim solely on the cover, and the solicit says you'll never believe the last page >Tec #940 says the team deals with a loss > No Tim in Night of the Monster Men previews > Arc after Monster Men will be Steph-centric, and feature Harper (probably to take over the tech role from Tim) > Teen Titans Rebirth launches in September after Tim dies
Jaxson Cruz
Slott fired when? Honestly it's hard to keep 100k numbers while double shipping, even King's Batman would slip under 100k but that number is terrible. And the reason isn't even Slott being on the book. The premise is terrible and the execution is bland.
