I want to learn Spanish so I'm going to watch Spanish films and learn by osmosis. What's good? I've only really seen Pan's Labyrinth (pic related).

Narcos

Scarface mein

Amores Perros

is watching a show actually a good way to learn a language?

you're learning the what but not the why

Watch 31 Minutos, one of the best children shows ever.

This. Rebelde Way is full of argentinian hotties.
RBD a shit

>learn by osmosis

Gonna out myself as a weeb, seen lots of anime but I still can't speak or read japanese at all

Me and countless other people who didn't have english as their first language learned it by playing videogames and shitposting online.

I mean, I was going to combine it with active study of sorts.

don't forget the weather report

It is a great way to learn vocabulary but you need something else to learn how to form phrases and which verb tense you have to use...

This.

El secreto de sus ojos

absolute kino

>people will insult colonialism when they exist

Y SOY REBELDE

How is masturbating to Spanish-language shows going to teach you Spanish?

Listen to Spanish music

Perro Caca (2017)

Magical Girl(2014)
La flaqueza del bolchevique

>Learning Spanish from Torrente
absolute madman

A little white, do it right.

>"What's 'aupa Atleti'? What does that mean?"

This. There's going to be a lot of colloquialism you won't be able to ever understand.

Well I learned english through TV and videogames. But it's not enough imo, you also need to read after you are comfortable enough with the language. At least that's what I did.

To address your question OP I just watched this thriller on Netflix called Invisible Guest, it was pretty good though be advised the end doesn't make much sense if you understand the law.

>Dominican>>>>Venezuelan>>>>>>Mexican't

Not comparable, asian languages evolved completely separate from western languages. Most western languages have influenced one another and so have a lot in common making it easier to grasp them.

This

Unas pajillas?

>muh anecdotes

I'm fairly good at translating anime shit now. Not good at speaking or writing it. I really think you need to be under 8yo to actually pick up a language like that without actually using it with other people.

Yeah but only once you know the basics imo. Then you can just google the more complicated words or expressions they're using and you're not completely in over your head. Reading is fine but you can only learn the correct pronunciation of words by actually hearing them

Mexican from waist up + Dominican from waist down

The Venezeluan is hot as fuck, though.

jajajajaja

Well yeah, you need to use it to learn how to properly communicate. But you need to start somewhere. Also who the fuck tries to learn a language in a vacuum? If you don't plan on using it there's no reason to learn a language because it's entire purpose is to communicate with others.

Also moon glyphs are an entirely different beast.

And like I said, Oriental languages are very different to Western languages thus making them harder to understand and learn

Something about the Atlético de Madrid I guess.

Venezuela has the hottest white girls in the world.

Ana de Boners sexy romcom with KStew when?

Meh, the supposedly hot Venezuelans are plastic as fuck.

It depends on how gay Ana is.

>KStew
wrong dyke

98% of all hot women are 100% plastic...thats the world we live now.

Atame!
Do not do this.

If your world encompasses only American pro-porn and instagram.

>If you don't plan on using it there's no reason to learn a language because it's entire purpose is to communicate with others.
Not him, but I'd like to learn a language to try and stave off any potential mental degeneration because that shit absolutely terrifies me.

Yes, heve you seen how fucking ugly normie women are?
They disgust me.

you need to get out more buddy

they are on all the time on tv.

...

But people on the street could talk to me.

just watch the spanish dub of your favorite flicks

Ivana Baquero is incredible. I'd learn Spanish for her.

giv mexico gf

None of those are Mexican

...

95% European, 100% European and 75% European

>want to learn Spanish

why? don't fall for the meme: is literally useless, and if you don't speak it fluently, you'll sound like a complete retard 100% guaranteed.

...

Is this what i want to watch for the POV sex scene?

Valverde was the only good thing about that shitty movie.

spanish kino

Spanish is an ugly language. Every time I hear it, it makes me think of that shithole to the south and the braying of annoying trumpet music.

You need to watch Simpsons dub (and smoke una vela)

Don't ever fucking learn Spanish.

yovana is just an instagram whore

>6
it helps if you already have some basic knowledge

Why not?

No, too many scenes with the ugly old guy.

It's a bad language.

Shit thread desu

this was gay

Shit reason, I'm going to learn Spanish

How?

You won't learn the language this way at all, you need to study. You don't know the form or the grammar or anything. You have to get to at least an intermediate level before this will work at all.

Nobody cares

can confirm it's kino. you just can't make a comedy like this anymore. had a good fap to the nympho sister too.

La isla minima
Spirit of the beehive
The devil's backbone

true

>We have a question here, the concept it's the concept, THAT'S the question!

Wild tales, saw it about 2 years ago when some Sup Forums user recommended it.

Anything?

Watch movies you love Spanish dub with English subs. Try to spot repeated words and glean their meaning yourself. This is how I learned to say phrases like "I don't care" in spanish. If you're not low iq, you can learn ways to say specific phrases without Google or a dictionary.

Unironically watch your favorite kids cartoon movies dubbed in Spanish. Since kids movies typically use simpler language and lack any deep or abstract ideas or idioms or something, they're perfect to learn the basics. My dad got his start on English learning things like the alphabet from Sesame Street.

You can also watch good Spanish films, like Amores Perros or Y tu mama tambien. But good films are gonna be harder to catch phrasing and dialogue, and there will be more slang/less literal translation. Also, they're good, so you should focus on viewing and reading the subtitles, not trying to translate.

I thought Narcos wasn't a good choice, though it's almost entirely Spanish. It can teach you some bad habits, since they spew a lot of criminal slang.

I hope you want to learn real Spanish and not Latin American "Spanish".

>Latinos's faces when someone uses 2nd person plural near them

Would rescue Venezuela from communism

Wild Tales

No, retard. You actually have to study.

Left(mexican?) is perfect.

That's not osmosis. It would be learning by immersion.

based giv poster

We outnumber you cuck. Get used to it.

Second one was better, Gabino Diego is pure kino in that one

The best advise I can give someone about Spanish cinema is an appeal to authority. The staff at Cahiers España are the only institution that actually cares about spanish movies, and they made a huge poll for their 100th release. The first 150~ or so films are really easy to find if you've got a handle on Google and emule, and most of them are masterpiece.

My advice is to go with films made in the 60, specially Fernando Fernán Gómez and Luis García Berlanga.

Professional, very professional
