Would you vote for Lex Luthor, Sup Forums?

Personally, I believe that Lex Luthor did literally nothing wrong.

Of course I would, otherwise the plot wouldn't progress.

>we need to vote Trump to progress the plot
Wtf, I love Trump now

>If there’s one idea that over 80 years of Superman stories have tried to instill in readers, it’s that hope must trump fear for the sake of the future. This isn’t Bizarro world, where everything is backward and upside down; this is 2016, and yet here we are. Let’s try not to let the Man of Steel down.
>this is 2016

I'd vote for Lex if the alternative was Trump. They're both evil businessmen, but at least Luthor is smart. Trump is an idiot who's only good at confidence tricks.

Luthor would actually be pretty competent if he got over his Superman hateboner.

bernout detected

SOLD!

This is my stance. Keep Supes away and Lex will do a good job. Hell, he'd actually make things better for the lower orders because he wants humanity to recognise how great he is.

Seriously, just kill superman and he'll probably have everything fixed for the sake of putting Lex or Luther somewhere in the name or principle. He gave up being a God to keep fucking with Superman, this is a sick man.

Luthor would still be ineffectual. Superman is just an excuse. Even when Supes isn't around, all Luthor does is plot how to fuck over everyone for petty reasons.

>Lex Luthor did literally nothing wrong

Look. It's the same version Lex who would later go on to become president of the DCU admitting to murder.

Well, I mean. Who hasn't murdered someone at this point? Let he who hath committed no sins cast the first stone. You feel me, bro?

>Maxine Hunkel

...

If Superman showed up in our world, would Trump despise him?

Better than Hillary

I don't see why he would.

The colouring in these books is atrocious

We can make Earth great again!

That's literally the only good reason to vote for trump i've ever seen

Yes, you detected someone who has good taste.

Nah, user, I'm voting for Robocop.

#I'mWithHim

Trump is Batman

>Millionaire playboy who solve the world's complex problems by punching poor people

Hillary is closer to Luthor

DING DING DING DING DING DING

>Lex Luthor at all like Trump
But Lex is smart

in a nutshell

>voting for a faggot with an inferiority complex the size of Australia
I think not.

>Lex is like Trump
Trump is a literal preteen stuck inside a veteran businessman. He's a good manipulator like Lex but acts like a middle schooler with a Twitter account. I wouldn't even be surprised if he's working for Shillary to get her elected.

twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/516382177798680576

Lex would get things done and isn't an autist who'd pick fights with Twitter shills in the oval office. Pic Unrelated.

He wouldn't until Superman rebuked him for something, at which point he'd put a lot of energy into trying to smear Superman.

I can't see him acting like Luthor and going on a full-on crusade to kill Superman, though.

To be honest, this is more true. I'm not fan of Trump, but the issue with him is that he tries to offer solutions that are far too simple for complex problems.

Hillary is legitimately a schemer.

Isn't liberalism closer to the center of the political compass?

I thought that the far left end was socialism.

I wouldn't call supporting a decrepid communist who either pocketed all the donation money or gave it all to Shillary (as if they weren't in cahoots since Day-1) after losing "good taste".

Not in classical terms, no.

>Joker is an anarchocommie
>most of his portrayals are mainly about getting wealthy

Nolan films were a mistake.

He's an Illegal Alien

Okay, come on, CTR. Can't you stay on Sup Forums?

Nah I'll take Max Lord over Lex.

>WallyWest
>liberal
Not an expert, but isn't he from the midwest/identifies as a conservative, hates commies, etc?

This. If either of our candidates is a political archvillain, it's Hillary (though only to a point- I think the email thing really was just careless and irresponsible stupidity rather than any calculated scheme). Trump is a buffoon who wants to look like a master planner but he's in way over his head and it's become increasingly harder to hide the fact that he has no idea what he's doing.

>Do you know how much power I'd have to give up to be president?

I thought Lex had mostly democratic policies when he was running for president.

Trump is nothing like Luthor.
Luthor is a successful self made man.

So, which one of them is the Beast and which one of them is the Smiler?

It's fairly fucking obvious. Trump is an idiot, Hillary is literally a sociopath.

This only shows how stupid you are. Trump is incredibly smart. Obviously not as smart as your fictional chinese cartoon character, but still.

>Trump is incredibly smart.
Please show any kind of proof that he's even remotely intelligent, and not just being a carnival barker.

Research yourself, m8. See how he uses language, and so on. You can not like him, but to deny that he is clever is retarded. You are probably one of the spoons who laughed at him when he announced he was running.

>Research yourself, m8.
Of fucking course.

Provide proof to me he is stupid. He might not be intelligent in certain ways, but he is a genius salesman, to the point that he is where he is. His position right now in the presidential campaign should attest that he isn't a moron.

His strategy during the primaries was actually pretty smart and paid off.
Of course he now has no idea why that same strategy isn't working in the general and refuses to change because he thinks if it worked before he can make it work again.

not even an anchor baby. he has to go back.

He's turned it into a endurance race and knows his opponent cannot keep up the pace.

...

I think he probably thought "why hasn't anyone done this before, it's genius!" and never realized that there was a reason why the other Republicans actively avoided being such firebrands and appealing to the most racist parts of the base: they knew that it would be a fast-track to winning the primary but would be poison to them in the general campaign. I'm not sure if I'd even call Trump's primary strategy that smart because he didn't foresee something that nearly every political analyst knew was coming, that he'd hit a wall after the primary and he'd need to either change his strategy fast or face a losing battle.

By making a complete ass of himself to the point where his own party leaders are panicking? Hillary barely even has to do anything right now.

He has guts and instincts. He went into Manhattan development when it was considered a lost cause and made his mark on the city.

>regurgitated, untrue media narrative
whatever

The Difference between Trump and Lex is that Lex is usually 20 moves ahead of the average man and a master manipulator. Meanwhile Trump's campaign against Clinton is her handing him a gun for him to shoot her and him shooting himself over, and over, and over again.

Of course, it doesn't look like Trump ever planned on winning. He's raising millions of dollars and he's not spending it on campaign ads or people, and not disclosing where that money is going. Chances are it's just going to himself and he'll make history as the first man to make money by running for President.

So then what IS the truth?

Party leaders are in a panic because he's promising to break their pay to play system. Not because he's in danger of losing.

They were all too happy to have Jeb as their banner carrier, because he'd be no different than Hillary. Wall Street bought and paid for politicians.

His promise to break the corrupt globalisation trade is what they fear most.

He's already saying that he expects the election to be rigged and then when he loses he doesn't have to admit that he failed, his political defeat was due to sabotage and other people, he did nothing wrong and made no mistakes!

The sad part is people are buying it.

So are they in a panic or is it all untrue media lies? It can't be both.

in any case he is not a radical, after all he didn't had problem with being friends of Castro

Anything that fits my narrative.

It's a shame that he's also a fucking idiot that keeps putting his foot in his mouth. It'd be interesting if he wins but he keeps saying and doing stupid shit.
