I think GoT in general is just shitty now. The show was better in the earlier seasons of 1 and 2, it was interesting, they had interesting characters and awesome actors. Now I dunno, it's just lame and instead the show is filled with the exact opposite.

Every scene where the acting is bad it is because the point of the scene is to show how Jon snow reacts to X, or how Daenerys reacts to X, all the horrible scenes are "Character sitting in throne trying to speak to it's vassals", and when every vassal is a no name stock big guy, it gets dull.

I think you should go back and watch the last 2 seasons; if anything the younger cast members have improved. Acting quality overall may have still gone down just because they keep killing the best-acted characters.
