Walking Dead

legend of the seeker

seriously?
yes.

Supernatural is top stuff

faggot

>seriously?
Yes, seriously, it's so predictable that you can go out and buy the script to future seasons from your local comic book store right now! And let's not even talk about the CG, find me anything in Supernatural that looks this bad.

Fpbp

X Files for the Dr Who crowd

Words can't describe how little I care for it

This show was good then bad and now is just straight up experimental, they're doing a Scooby Doo cross over for fucks sake

is this actually something that they shot?

This is some high quailty

>that shot

That's bad, but it's still not the L O S T submarine bad

It'd be better if every fucking supernatural creature wasn't just a guy in a suit.

wait a second.
i can buy the script to future seasons??
thanks for the tip user!!

it is kinda shit, but the earlier seasons are at least alright. It ripped off shows like Buffy and X-Files but really those first 5 or so seasons are better than some shit like GOT, not trolling

first five seasons of supernat are great. If you watched further than that you're the idiot.

Honestly it got better lately when they brought back Lucifer, the previous villains were garbage tier

Did Ricc lose his hand yet?

Kirkman said Rick losing his hand in the comic was a mistake in hindsight, so no he'll never lose it in the show

I actually agree with this. It's basically uninspired misery/torture porn made to sate the blood lust of lowbrow audiences.

Early seasons were occultkino, faggot.

like for real? Or in a "not that bad considering it's a show for women" kind of way?

Genuinely good.

I dunno about OP but I loved it. It had monsters, brotherhood, a decent over-arching plot, it was surprisingly scary in parts. Then a certain character was dealt with and the show should have ended, but they kept chugging shitty plotlines regardless.

I might give it a go. How much does it have in common tonally with The Ninth Gate?

Tiger intervention/10.

It didn't become a show for women until seasons 4-5 when every other episode turned into fanservice

Also if you don't like monster-of-the-week shows then don't even bother, every season is 10% overarching plot and 90% "can't do anything about our big situation so we might as well go hunt the local banshee"

it's garbage mate

Not that much desu. It's more of a feel good show.

Season 5 was so good. Just a bunch of random shit and having fun with the lore. But it still had a pretty good arc.

It's tounge in cheek, hell the actors cosplay as each for conversations

But Angel is the worst

Nonsense. None of the monster of the week crap was even remotely good. Neither was it scary. If you ever watched Supernatural to get scared, you might be genuinely lacking brain cells; the whole thing was about camp all the way. Like, the best episodes were the campy, fun ones with the angel jester or something some seasons in.

Also, the reason they stuck with angels and demons instead of the stupid monster crap is because they work better as villains and are more intimidating.

I like monster of the week stuff. I liked Fringe best when it was monster of the week in the beginning.

>Supernatural
>like ninth gate ever
I'd post some hilarious reaction images, but you get the gist.

>angels work better as villains
I mean, they would, if they didn't just look like average Joes playing with plastic knives.

I watched this for a while because I enjoy the whole angel vs. demon thing but good lord, does it drone on.

And if you're watching it and trying to convince yourself that it isn't garbage churned out for teens, you're just kidding yourself.

holy shit

i havent watched walking dead since season 1 so glad i made the right decision

Zachariah was the only non-Lucifer angel that really came across as threatening. And that's a shame when the actor is usually typecast as a buffoon.

Supernatural is the worst but:

TWD
Star Wars is high effort but still bad enough for an honorable mention
Valarian

I'm a Tolkien and warhammer 40k fan so my opinions are probably irrelevant to most of Sup Forums

Not teens, you moron. Twenty something millennials that grew up with it. It's like a quirky sitcom to watch for the characters and what kind of silly situations they're going to put themselves into except it's grimdark and supernatural things are happening

>Angel is the worst

get raped faggot

Angel is probably the best fantasy show of all time, but you probably wouldn't understand it.

>twenty something millenials
This is only correct because 'twenty something millenials' are incapable of moving on from their high school mentalities. Everything on the CW is targeted for a teenage audience. The fact that older people consume it just identifies those people as feckless idiots.

I rewatch the first seasons from time to time. Just to remind myself what a shitshow it became.

Teens don't fucking watch this shit. They're still in the "consume all the good TV of the past" phase, so they're too busy watching Sopranos and whatnot. Supernatural is for people that stopped caring and just watch because of the familiarity and some decent cameo on and off that makes it interesting like Rowena

>They're still in the "consume all the good TV of the past" phase, so they're too busy watching Sopranos and whatnot
Projecting much? Because you're out of your goddamn mind if you believe the average teenage girl is watching the Sopranos over Supernatural. What the fuck are you smoking?

Why would you as a teen decide to watch supernatural of all things when there are countless better shows to catch up on on netflix or whatever the fuck?

Looks like a Filthyfrank video what kind of a cheap green screen is this. Btw dropped this show when the guy said Crossbow had a lot of recoil.

obviously not all teenagers have as patrician taste as you do good sir

*tip*

Probably because teenage girls are more interested in soapy dramas involving cute guys than interpersonal nuanced relationship dramas starring fat Italian mouthbreathers.

Look, I like supernatural for what it is, but I'm aware how tiring it gets to actually invest yourself into it. It's not something that's genuinely above par, but a show where actors and writers do a minimum required effort just to churn out an episode.

The only reason I watch it is because I don't care that much about TV anymore and everything seems overdone, but if you're someone new to TV, you'd want to start off from the 12 episode/season format and watch the actually high effort stuff first

>OH FUCK A TIGER DON'T SHOOT IT DON'T SHOOT IT
>DON'T KILL THE PEOPLE WE WANTED TO KILL EITHER LET THEM GO I REPEAT LET THEM GO

Carl's "acting" distracts from the shit cgi. Holy shit, i hope the kid didn't drop out of school for an acting career after twd.

I have high hopes for Midnight Texas. What do you guys think?

season 1-5 is literally goat

Do you have the deer webm handy?

It's a show for teen girls and womenchild what do you expect

...

Am I the only one who liked the leviathans arc?

yes

Better than the actual one.

What was the point? Yellow eyed demon/dad story was the only good one.

is that actually the real one?

holy shit that is bad.

>first few seasons even a single demon is considered an almost impossible foe
>later seasons the boys can go toe to toe with angels and Lucifer himself

I liked the angels/demons lore and the Apocalypse, and I also liked the "there are things older than souls in purgatory" concept. Way better than Cain's dagger, hell knights, darkness and men of letters

But I lke that shitty low effort predictable fantasy series

*takes a deep breath*
AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAAAAHAHHAAHHAAHHAAHHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

>face is glistening
>second shot shows there's no light source in front of him
>they just fucking lit Andrew Lincoln up with stage lights and put him on a green screen, ignoring the design of the scene

This is some Black Dynamite-tier stuff

I don't have to look far

Misha Collins portrayal of Mark Pellegrinos lucifer was spot on. Made me realize how good an actor he really was.

He said Rick losing his hand so early was a mistake. The comics seem pretty set on punishing the fuck out of Rick so he can keep inspiring people around him, Kirkman has crippled the bastard now and taken everyone except his son away, if he could revise the series Rick would have lost the hand eventually.

>the angel jester or something
Oh shit I remember those. The TV channel one was hilarious, and so was the one where the came to the real world

what the fuck lmaoooo

I refused to believe this was the real one, i looked it up and its true lmao

no he said making Rick one handed was a mistake because it limited certain actions he could do and he didn't really think of the long term consequences of it at the time

the leg crippling was long planned though which is why it is in the show

youtube.com/watch?v=S4ZpqeJ6GBw

2 first seasons were actually good. Fucking fight me

At least Supernatural isn't trying to be serious half of the time and is creative. TWD is just straight up shit.

Stranger Things

Only from season 5 to the end was it a shitty, low effort predictable fantasy series.

Lol fuck off, you sound full of shit. The show is fine, much better than the most of the "low effort" crap out there

>But Angel is the worst
I'm actually a bit rustled t b h

pic related

Yeah. It seems like the first guy wanted to do a real show though. And they fired him for it. It's pathetic to me that things like the "Glenn saves Rick in a tank" scene are still amongst the best in the series to date.

it's my gfs favorite show

They're hot, my Mother likes this show very much.

FPBP
No exceptions.

Supernatural is still comfy

Yep. I watched season 1, it was great, and I really looked forward to seeing the show through. Quit soon after they changed showrunners.

Also Supernatural is great. 1-5 are TVkino. You don't have to watch the rest of the seasons unless you want to see more of the characters. But the most recent season was actually the best since 5 I think.
