Bulgarian policemen are vastly superior human beings when compared to their colleagues in the West.
They are not psychopaths like the Americans, they rarely beat people up without real need like they do in France or in Spain, and they are not likely to arrest you for something completely ridiculous just to follow the letter of the law without thinking like they would do in Germany or the UK.

I have never encountered any normal police, they are only in a couple of the bigger cities in my province and we have no provincial police force. I am quite fond of the RCMP and unironically believe that they are a contender for all-around finest federal police force/gendarmerie on earth.
