Obama Care Is Dead

Aetna Joins Other Major Insurers In Pulling Back From Obamacare

Insurance giant Aetna will stop selling health insurance through most of the exchanges created by the Affordable Care Act in 2017 because the company said it is losing money in many of those markets.

On Monday, Aetna said it will sell individual insurance policies in only 242 counties in four states, down almost 70 percent from the 778 counties in 15 states where the company markets Obamacare plans this year.

The decision is a blow to President Obama's signature health care law. Most insurers selling plans through the exchanges have been losing money because the people getting insurance under Obamacare have been sicker than forecast.

Single payer here we come.

neat

But one wonders what's brewing behind the scenes.

This was the plan all along. We are moving to a single payer system within 10 years.

Obama and the Democrats wanted single payer but couldnt get it done in Congress.

So they played the long game instead.

The """free market""" cannot provide healthcare efficiently and thus will be removed from healthcare altogether.

>be unable to cope with changes in the market
>go under

A federal mandate to plant the insurance Jew firmly and absolutely between Americans and their health care.

What a great fucking idea. What could possibly go wrong?

What will replace it? A centrally-planned monopoly?

I hear those are really efficient.

Americans must be sick of being scared to get sick.

There is way way way way too much money in medicine right now. It's like the number one industry in the world.

That is some scary shit.

The free health care would work in only a smaller country. Like for most things it would be easier to manage in a smaller country.

>be unable to walk when someone breaks your legs
>dying is your fault

Time to outlaw health insurance.

>Not walking with your bare hands like a man

aetna, via joe bag of dicks Lieberman, was the initial cockblock of the single payer system

The change in the market in this case was literally allowing huge financial burdens to buy into insurance at cut rate costs. Not to dehumanize them, but medical care is expensive and they are not paying anywhere close to what they're getting out.

The drug companies were promised that the mandate would force healthy people to pay in and cover the difference.

This is not happening.

The young, healthy people are just saying screw it I can't afford it (and if they really can't they don't even pay the penalty) and just forgo. As such, the companies are forced to take care of a nonprofitable market and are losing money. They're not going under, they're literally cutting their losses to prevent going under.

They are far from "going under" but you are right. If young people aren't buying in there is little reason for them to participate.

kek

>healthcare had small issues, #1 in world
>dems freak out about small issues
>completely blow up the system with some thousand page bill no one completely understands
>claim everything is fine while the premiums sky rocket
>insurance companies adjust
>dems cry more and press for more gov intervention

rinse and repeat but dont worry

the gov will make sure you're healthy...

Amazing what happens when the people you sell to actually have to use it.

More proof that health insurance is a fucking scam to begin with.

Insurance companies wrote Obongocare. It is an example of corporate welfare gone wrong.

>the gov will make sure you're healthy...
Not really. Eziekiel Emmanuel (Rahm's brother) was one of the principle architects of Obamacare and his whole thing is to make sure people die before they get too expensive based on his Jewish mathematical models of statistically expected cost to society vs. statistically expected benefit to society. He even wrote an article in The Atlantic promoting it.

Kind of like some of Obama's czars who years ago were commoditizing life. Did you know that a 4 year old is worth more than a 3 year old because 4 years of resources have been invested vs. only 3? So in that case, it would be better to murder the 3 year old to save money, and that's perfectly fine because "post partem abortion" is OK up to the age of 3 because the foetus still can't feel pain or remember anything at that point.

Private insurance companies do that all the time. You obviously have no idea how this business works.

Oh, I do. They dehydrated my aunt to death when she started stroking out beyond recovery. Same precident orginally set by Jeb! with Terry Schiavo. I'm signed on to a bunch of elaborate Jew lawyer things designed to safeguard family assets from being sucked dry by end of life health care costs.

End of life is an ethically tough issue. So it should be left to the family, not the state or state-backed (i.e. fascist) corporations. And certainly never to the Jews, who commoditize everything in their satanic love of money.
