Trade Waiting
>Deathstroke

>Green Arrow

Is there any word yet if DC is going to put out their trades at a faster turnover rate than currently? I know that's kind of the idea with double shipping, but I haven't seen any word on how long until the first volumes will be dropping.

>pull list
Deathstroke
Hal & Pals
New Super-man
Superwoman
The Flintstones
will probably add Blue Beetle assuming the first issue is good

>trade waiting
Batman
Wonder Woman
Nightwing
Supergirl
Future Quest

Green Lanterns
Superman
New Super-Man
Green Arrow
Batman
Detective Comics

>but I haven't seen any word on how long until the first volumes will be dropping.
the first batch of trades is coming in January

That seems like a bit of a long wait considering the #6 issues will be out like next month for the June launches but hopefully there won't be 6-8 month waits between volumes

Only pulling Blue Beetle but I might add New Super-Man or Superwoman since they've impressed me and might need the sales in a couple of issues.

Tradewaiting:
>Nightwing
>Scott's WW arc
>Green Arrow
>whichever one of NSM or Superwoman I don't pull
>Titans
>maybe Deathstroke but it's kind of early
>Aquaman

More than I expected

>June Rebirth double shipping vol 1 out Jan 2017
>July books out Feb 2017
>August books out March 2017
>June Rebirth vol 2 out April 2017

Nightwing
Wonder woman (thinking about dropping it)
Batman
Superman

or at least most of them are like this

Suicide Squad vol 1 seems to be coming out in May, probably because of the way the story is being told, and Cyborg seems to be coming out in February

but the wait between them are shorter since more issues are out

kk, thanks for filling a guy in senpai

>Batman
>Aquaman
>Detective Comics
>Action Comics
>Nightwing

Trade:

Titans
Justice League
All star Batman

>tfw now have Green Arrow Rebirth and #1-5 in floppies, completing the first trade
>tfw i have this literally 5 months before the trade comes out in full

I've dropped everything at this point, I think.

I miss Omega Men.

Correction: I had forgotten about Snyder's Batman. I'm giving that a shot.

John Constantine always cracks me up in that pic

>Oi m8 wot the fuck are we runnin' for

well considering that the second volumes of the DCYou books mostly won't be out until December, that is a marked improvement.

Unless they do the same bullshit they did with the new52 where some books are released early, and others are pushed back like crazy.

Real talk. How come we have to wait until January to pick up trades?

My pull is:
All-Star Batman
Batman
Green Arrow (going to drop after this arc since the book is complete trash)
New Superman (one of the better ones)
Nightwing (also dropping because fuck it's terrible)
Superman
Wonder Woman

Will probably pick up Blue Beetle.

Trade waiting:
>Wonder Woman
>Green Arrow
>Batman
>Superman
>Aquaman
>Nightwing
>Titans (??? maybe)
>Detective Comics (??? maybe)
>Suicide Squad
>Batgirl (??? maybe)
I'll probably get them all, but I'm not sure about a few. Not included the ongoings not released like Teen Titans, Blue Beetle, etc.

finish up the other trades and have the wait between the rebirth trades be smaller

Eh, guess I'm down with that. Sure.

Reading through the lines, I think we have to slightly blame Cyborg and Williamson's Flash -- although there are other factors.

DC is trying to roll out the initial trades at roughly the same time and put all of their big name characters in the first push. But Cyborg (which launches in September and will apparently finish its first arc with issue 6, in mid-December) starts and finishes a bit late, along with Flash finishing up its first arc by issue 8, in October.

Since DC doesn't want to step on any of the LCSes toes by releasing the trades too early (by DC's pull dates, which are 2 months after an issue is released), they had to wait until at least late December to release the Flash trade. But that would make Christmas sales a hassle (plus, LCS numbers are generally down during December) -- they probably figured it was better to just go into 2017 with the full lineup, some extra issues in the buffer, and extra time to play with.

And having the trades be slow to release (they'll release 4x-5x per year, I think, but still be quite old compared to floppies) works in DC's favor with buffing their preorder numbers and getting more people in stores to get the LCSes on their side.

whatever Sup Forums is storytiming
