Is this film basically just Jon Favreau living out his ultimate fantasy or something? Literally the whole thing is just him cooking immense amounts of greasy food and getting busy with hot women (ScarJo, Sofia Vergara, and Leguizamo). This is like a fatass loser's wet dream.
I loved it though. Literally never seen a bad Favreau movie. The dude knows how to make 'em.
It's about his broken family, the cooking is just for the looks. otherwise the movie would be really bland since after he gets fired he never faced any hard times again.
I thought it was a nice breath of fresh air to have such a feel good movie. The whole thing just make me happy. I'm a bit tired of watching movies just to suffer.

I mean, there's tons of food TV shows with actual chefs cooking. Personally, I like Anthony Bourdain.

Does anyone know why they made Oliver Platt's appearance out like it was a big reveal? Like they hid his face for a while and I don't understand why because I did not recognize him at all.
