BASED young nicholson

one of my favorite films in general desu

Dollars Trilogy. 2>1>3

The Searchers. I like how the word "rape" is never spoken but we all kind of know.

The Salvation

Not The Seachers, that's for sure. John Ford is almost as boring as late career Leone.

Shane is objectively the best Western. Also good: For a Few Dollars More, High Noon, The Magnificent Seven 1960 (better than Seven Samurai).

Il Grande Silenzio is actually the best though.

dogshit opinion lol

Stalking Moon and Searchers

2>1>3 indeed

Amazing movie desu. The end is fucking brutal.

1 > 3 > 2. Why are you obsessed with 2? It's good but 1 and 3 are clearly superior.

McCabe & Mrs. Miller

among the tensest movies ever. i mean if you like westerns/thrillers type of once upon a time in the west for the suspense moments alone then this one is a must see. In fact it makes the whole collection of western movies ever made look like child's play! theres so much tension that by the time of the credits roll you will be holding the edge of your sit (and its a 70 yr old movie no less)

just imagine the impact of watching it on the big screen at the time of its premiere...its some fantastic and yet terrifying stuff i think its worth every minute

Logan

...

back to the future 3

this gem. Val Kilmers performance in this film deserved more recognition.

Pale Rider. Nobody ever talks about it for some reason.

great minds user!

Are there any other snow westerns? It's my absolute favorite setting in movies.

The Searchers
Good the Bad and the Ugly
Last of the Mohecans (technically colonial frontier story, but it's almost the same thing).
Shaaaayaaaaannnneee

>once upon a time in the west

same with Two Mules For Sister Sara

Shane is so fucking overrated

...

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance has to be the goat

Ride the High Country

>Hateful 8
>9 characters

Nah

The Mindful Nine just doesn't have the same ring

Hateful Eight?

Sabata
Few a Few Dollars More (the best of trilogy, agree)
Lonesome Dove series
Rio Bravo
Duck You Sucker
Hatfields & McCoys series
Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid
Treasure of Sierra Madre

Post the webm of this

Also the only correct answer to desertshit is The Wild Bunch because everyone else ripped that off

...

3 Godfathers is a hidden gem IMO.

Loved that one too

Westworld.
I know the overarching plot isn't a western but whatever.
