the guy who wrote the book that that movie's based off also wrote another book called piercing that is also being made into a movie. piercing is about a guy who's always had an urge to kill bc he was heavily abused as a child but he manages to pull his shit together and even have a wife and daughter except that he starts having an urge to kill his daughter. to deal with this he decides to kill a high class escort instead. the girl he highers ends up being just as fucked up as him from also suffering abuse as a child. they meet and hi-jinks ensue.
