What of this is worth watching

Which Star Trek shows/movies are good and which are worth skipping

>good
The Orville
>worth skipping
STD

Good: TOS, TOS-based movies, reboot movies

Okay: Voyager, TNG, TNG-based movies

Awful/Boring: DS-9, Enterprise

DS 9 and Enterprise episodes are mostly angsty dramas for teengirls.

DS 9 does not even have a captain. Is it because he's black?

Seth pls

None of it unless you're a turboautist with shit taste.

Leave. Now.

Watch all of TNG & DS9

Use pic related as a guide for TOS

Watch the first 6 Star Trek movies

After that is up to you

Well, DS9 does

get a mon capitan eventually,

because, you see,

TOS - Hammy low budget cheese with three of the best leads to ever be in TV and good concept episodes

TNG - early 90s PBS type comfy with only a few good characters (Picard, Worf and Data) and some really strong episodes but lots of really stupid ones too.

>reboot movies
>good

Star Trek 2009 is legit.

watch all of TOS - Enterprise
and watch all the movies from The motion picture to Beyond

only real ST fans do this

>please rape my face

yes, they are.

>not listing Riker and Geordi

I am disappointed in you user.

>Good: TOS, TOS-based movies, reboot movies
>Good: reboot movies

Kill yourself.

Only two of them are ok. The second one is absolute garbage.

Dumb argument. Most people liked it. You didn't? That's nice, so what.

>most people

Just watch the last 3 reboot movies. All the others are nerd NEET shit.

It's a dumb action movie with a poor understanding of trek as well as the characters. It belongs in ok tier, not good.

Yeah well, that's just like your opinion man.

Just like yours dumbfuck.

Yes but 95% of critics and 91% of people agree with me. So I'm right and you're wrong and I win and you lose.

I've always found them boring. Riker is basically there for Picard to talk at. Geordi is okay but he never got any character development and was basically just there to spout technobabble quips

>taking rotten tomatoes at face value
oh sweet summer child

OP, the original series, Star Trek tng, movies 2/3/4/6/First Contact!!!

Critics can be bought. Rotten tomatoes, IMDb and Metacritic user ratings are heavily altered by bots controlled by movie industry. Ratings for everything made after internet actually became normie thing are already quite a lot too positive due to people being more likely to rate movies they liked instead of totally 'meh movies.

Yeah I'm sure that those critics were just bought and it had nothing to do with the movie being well-crafted, well-paced, featuring charismatic actors, clever dialogue and a great soundtrack. No no, it was all a big conspiracy.
You're retarded.

>No no, it was all a big conspiracy.

Movie journalists are just as corrupted as game journalists. We are living in era of disposable media, if journalist gives bad reviews or asks hard questions in interviews they lose access to subject. No more paid trips to PR-events or exclusive access to movie director or game developers for interviews.

Using bots to affect shit on ratings sites, that isn't an issue.

>the movie being well-crafted, well-paced

All of re-boot movies are full of internal inconsistencies.

>featuring charismatic actors

Casting is one of few things they did right in re-boot.

>clever dialogue

Full of quipping.

>a great soundtrack.

That is another thing I think Jar Jar did right. 3rd thing on that short list uniform design, 4th is shuttle design and there is no 5th thing.

As Star Trek movies re-boot movies shits on the source material, tosses can of gasoline on it and that followed by match. As generic action movies those are utterly mediocre.
