Dunkirk for Plebs

How Dunkirk would be done by American directors.

>musical intro with horn trumpets and drums
>DOOO DOOO DOOO DOOOOOOO
>narration by the main character about how war is heroic beating the nazis was amazing
>"Those boys fought for liberdy n freedum, we are so prooud"
>Intro scene: extremely violent and unnecessary gory battle between British/French and Germans
>American actors are doing British accents
>OW MY BLOODY NOGGIN, GET THOSE BLOODY KRAUTS PIP PIP CHEERIO
>Germans are getting killed in every shot despite the opposite happening irl
>British Lieutenant with a massive mustache walks over the the decapitated German bodies
>WELL DONE LADS BUT BLOODY CENTRAL COMMAND HAS ORRDERED US TO FALL BACK
>"WHAT BLOODY TOSSAHS WE WERE KICKIN THEIR BUMS WE WERE!" a voice cries from the distance
>"NOW NOW LADS ITS HIS MAJESTY'S ARMY NOW LETS RETREAT!"

>Characters are walking next to eachother
>they all talk about their families and girlfriends back home
>ME N THE MISSES ARE GETTIN MARRIED WHEN WE GET BACK BY CHRISTMAS LADS
>(this extra with no name gets killed in an over-dramatic death scene at the end of the film)
>I JUST HATE HITLER SO MUCH LADS, HE'S GASSING THE JEWS AS WE SPEAK
>cue montage of jewish kids in camps being whipped by SS officers in gas masks with sad piano music

>final scene is RAF pilots blowing up German destroyers while they're eating biscuits and Rule Britannia
>in subtitles it says that it is the national anthem

>making up things to get mad about

isn't that Sup Forums in a nutshell?

Would watch

done by brits
>fleeing cowards drowning for two hours

*wins the battle of britain single handedly*

kino

>not posting the superior webm

>women soldiers
>niggers
>trans actors

lmao, is this a scene from Dunkirk?

It was in the first trailer/teaser, but Nolan cut the full version of this guy from the film.

pretty much

What's next for his career?

And by American you mean distinctly Hollywood and by Hollywood you mean...

One of the reasons Dunkirk is great because it isn't a political piece, which is something that """american""" producers just can't seem to avoid

>frequent scenes in London HQ where Churchill is in conflict with a cowardly bunch of bureaucrats who want to abort the mission
>shot of big Ben and parliament with the text "London, England"
>movie ends with Hitler throwing his hat on the ground and jumping up and down on it

Jackboots on whitehall was kino though.

That actually sounds pretty fucken cool Op. I'd watch it.

Dunkirk remake when?

You did quite well but neglected to include a scene with Churchill making an "inspirational" speech.

You forgot the usual le evil screaming nazi general scene where he calls all of his troops to perform mass genocide.

>A female nurse is one of the main characters, she falls in love with the MC
>MC flashbacks of pre-war life
>Tom Hardy explodes his plane along with the nazis in the final scene, with no survivors

>Entire movie is an elaborate banepost
Unbelievable.

>this butthurt about Americans
It's all true but man, you look dumber.

At the end of the movie, Hitler crushes a map of northern France in his hands and mumbles "the jews will pay for this"

An Australian stereotype who frequently says "bloody" and "crikey" in the RAF.

An American gave us Beasts of No Nation. A film that wouldn't be allowed to exist without that streaming service Autistic Nolan hates.
