According to an article from the Houston Chronicle, 3 out of 5 Texans are prepared to vote for Texas to exit the union.
This revelation comes from the results of a poll conducted by left-leaning Public Policy Polling which were released on Tuesday.
The poll, which primarily focused on the U.S. presidential race, took a dive into the #Texit issue by asking respondents if they generally supported Texas leaving the union, with the outcome of the election as their determining factor.
While Texans have an majority unfavorable opinion of both major party candidates, according to the Houston Chronicle, 3 out of 5 respondents expressed that they were prepared to vote for #Texit if Clinton wins the White House.
The results of the PPP poll will only serve to fan the flames as the Texas Nationalist Movement continues to push for a statewide vote on Texas independence.
TNM President Daniel Miller has this to say:

But these are just the sentiments of a small sampling of Texas. It is imperative that Texans work with us and pledge their votes now.
