Protagonist has supernatural thing happen to them continuously

>protagonist has supernatural thing happen to them continuously
>tries to show it to side character
>thing doesn't happen

>horror movie
>character is yelling for help outside of the other characters' field of vision
>other characters do not believe him/her because of the similar incident earlier in the movie which turned out to be a 'prank'

>last minute of the final game
>character who is shit at the game comes through and makes a big play

>credits include "Damon Lindelof"

>two more movie scenes
>after the credits

>the apparent antagonist was actually looking after the protagonist's interests the whole time

>character has awesome superpowers or immortality
>wahhh my life sucks, DUDE these gifts are a curse LMAO
Fuck, I hate when this shit happens in superhero movies

>protagonist encounters paranormal shit every week
>still a skeptic and doesn't believe in paranormal

I kind of like this one desu

>comic relief character does something awesome in the final boss fight

>character has a secret identity he isnt revealing to his closest friends to protect them
>does it anyway later on

>comic relief character is revealed to be still trapped at the very end of the movie

>characters make a very detailed plan and explain it to the audience
>fails literally every time

Why must movies waste our time like this?

>girl friends bites their lips as they now realise user is within their grasp

>characters make a very detailed plan and explain it to the audience
>it's shown them doing it as it's explained

>movie completely changes genre halfway through

>important side character seemingly is killed off by falling off of a cliff or similar
>saves the protagonist out of nowhere during the climax of the movie

name 4 - FOUR - movies that does this

>character standing on a ledge about to commit suicide
>other character(s) convinces the character not to do it
>the character is about to step down as he/she looses their balance and hangs on the ledge only to be saved a couple of seconds later by the other characters

Most comedies before action movies or romances with a few jokes thrown in by the third act

*become

>important side character seemingly is killed off by falling off of a cliff or similar early in the movie
>Turns out to be the villain

The only movie that did this decently was the Incredibles.

>le super evil villain captures protagonist and describes their evil plan in detail
>protagonist uses this new information to foil plan

American Gods.

Yes. He sees weird stuff all the time and freaks out when he sees a woman floating into the room.

>character are outnumbered by enemies
>important character is fatally hit
>other characters get angry and rushes to kill off the enemies

This happened all the time on the X-Files. Silly Scully.

12 Monkeys kinda fits too, the actual cost of the virus-spread is just shooed away from one of the main actors

Immortality genuinely would suck though. Having to watch multiple generations of people you care for die. And the older you become the greater your odds of getting trapped somewhere you can't escape from. If you were truly immortal eventually you'd either get trapped in a small space, or be left floating through space.

It's why Tom Hanks' character in the Green Mile sees his extended lifespan as his punishment. Also the warden's wife doesn't get mentioned at all at the end of the that, but surely she has to be near immortal too

Why?
She was just healed by John Coffey. He healed Tom Hanks AND shared part of his essence with him. That essence is what prolonged his life.

Still need to watch that movie
